Absolutely well worth the service. They simplify everything from the application process to the moving process while providing you helpful information all the way along. I went to multiple Oztrekk seminars in Canada to get a sense of what they were offering and it was a tremendous help in choosing schools and preparing for the settling in Australia. In terms of the information they provide you, they are straightforward about job prospects here and conditions about deciding to stay. Some people have said they are too optimistic on this topic, but in my experience, I don't feel like they sugarcoated it in any way. Rather they were quite factual (something I have verified in the past year) and people's optimism or pessimism tend to be interpretations of those facts. Regardless, they are honest and provide some of the best insider info you could ever have for choosing schools, moving here and living here.

After a few unsuccessful applications to Canadian medical schools, I decided to consider opportunity elsewhere. The idea of studying medicine in a foreign country was exciting but also terrifying because there was a lot that I needed to ask about the process. I discovered OzTREKK through an exciting presentation at my university and I was immediately impressed with the professionalism and transparency that the OzTREKK agents had. Right from the start, they were excited to answer my questions and alleviate my concerns. It was evident that OzTREKK was more than willing to help me make my dream of getting in to med school a reality. Once I committed to Australian med school applications, OzTREKK led me every step of the way. The application process was jokingly easy...unlike any Canadian application. OzTREKK tells you exactly what documentation you require and corresponds in a very timely manner between you and the med schools overseas. Most times the turnaround was a single day. After receiving and accepting an offer, OzTREKK continued to work with me! OzTREKK is incredible! Oztrekk made my application process to study in Australia super easy. I didn’t have to worry about anything other than send them all my documents and they send it to school on my behalf. They also made my transition to moving and living in Australia much smoother. To describe OzTREKK as "helpful" would be a massive understatement. They have truly gone above and beyond to make this trip across the world as seamless as possible so I want to return the favour by expressing as best I can how much they've helped me. For starters, I had no idea what I was doing and reached out to them via email to ask a few questions about applying to dental schools in Australia. To my surprise, their friendly staff quickly got back to me with answers to ALL of my questions (and there was a lot) and they took care of everything for me from day one. They walked me through my options, gave me some information about each school, and even gave me a rundown of admission schedules to help me along. When I finally picked a school to apply to, they ensured that I understood which documents I needed and gave me deadlines upfront about I needed to get it to them by. All I had to do was provide the requisite documentation and they handled and my application from start to finish. The best part was that it was submitted on my behalf completely for free with no strings attached. I believe the Australian universities pay them to facilitate this service to bring more international students to study abroad so as a Canadian student, you benefit greatly from their services. They were the first to congratulate me on getting accepted - even before the school gave me the official acceptance. After I got in, they connected me with resources to ensure that I was aware of all the documentation to prepare in Canada to bring to Australia for my dental program (health records, vaccinations, criminal checks etc.). It was honestly such a blessing to have this in advance because I feel it would have been way too rushed to get everything done if I waited a few weeks later for the university to send me the exact same info. Before leaving to Australia, they hosted some OzTREKK get-togethers around popular cities in Canada to give their members a chance to meet their classmates and other students from different programs studying abroad. I actually managed to organize my first-year roommates and finalize my living accommodations through this event. They also organized some pre-departure informational webinars (which truthfully I didn't find as helpful but I know a lot of others appreciated the information about banking, finances, living accommodations/expenses, culture, etc.). When I arrived in Sydney, Jaime (OzTREKK's leader extraordinaire) booked a van and drove us out to IKEA and Costco to buy whatever we needed to settle in. They also organized a tour of the school and hosted a free lunch for myself and my family along with the other freshly accepted OzTREKK students. They brought in some upper-year students for us to ask questions even before the semester began. Even now, long after I've settled into the program, they still check up on me every now and then to ask how I'm doing. I genuinely cannot emphasize how amazing this company is. It's reliable, friendly, and FREE. I would probably not be where I am if it weren't for OzTREKK and I am forever grateful for their role in helping me get to where I am today!

I've been in touch with OzTrekk since 2015 I believe...? I discovered their service when looking for dental schools outside of Canada/States. Skeptical at first, but their immediate replies over email was quite reassuring when comparing and contrasting things like GPA, DAT scores, social life, and what other current students/alumni's had to say about the dental schools. Trust me when I say, these people will be your best friend if you want to study in Australia. I heard about studying in Australia from a friend, who used Oztrekk when she was applying. First thing I did was go on their website, which is very easy to get through, but still detailed. I found lots of helpful information. SO MANY things to say about OzTrekk! I had filled out applications for schools overseas before, and that process always involved a LOT of google searches and a handful o stabs open in my browser to keep track of everything I needed to get in line to apply. The process with OzTrekk was the polar opposite. They sent me a very simple email bundle with instructions on what I needed to gather together for my submission, and then all I had to do was send that Information directly to OzTrekk (much more simple than trying to ship transcripts overseas) since OzTrekk is domestic. OzTrekk then reviewed it all, made sure it was in order, and then forwarded my applications on to the schools of my choice. It cannot be said enough that this is an amazing group of humans, and that they have turned applying for school in the land down under into a painless process. They were also on hand to answer all of my (many) questions about the application process, finding housing, random culture questions and offered moving and acclimatisation advice. After I arrived in Australia they sent out the (amazing) Jaime to help with the settling process. She drove a shuttle around to Ikea, and grocery stores. Having OzTrekk there to help with orientation and that first huge grocery haul after landing in a new country was absolutely invaluable. Well, let me tell you my story :) After graduating from my BSc with a pretty good GPA and a good MCAT score, I had tried my hand at the Canadian medical school process. I know it's hard to believe services like these are free but they are really there to help you out and give you the best possible chance of studying in Australia! I applied to multiple schools and some schools miscalculated my GPA and they contacted the universities immediately to correct the error. A week later I was offered an acceptance. Oztrekk was very helpful when I was applying for uni (DVM). Upon speaking with students who applied using other methods I'm super glad I went through them. They made sure to answer my questions and help me gather everything I needed. They even went above and beyond to send me a pros and cons list when I couldnt decide what schools offer to accept. The only reason I went down a star is because they can be slow to reply at the start. A friend of mine tried to contact the architecture contact and just never heard back. Other than that, I would definatly recommend it if you'd like to study abroad! They even connected me with other Canadians in my program before I started, which was really great!
