If I could, I would rate higher! Brace yourself, this will be a bit of a novel but I feel it's important to know all the details of our recent positive visits. After a couple of tramatic experiences with other dental clinics between here and Carlton Place, we've finally found a dental clinic that we are completely IN LOVE with, which coming from someone who has been terrified of dentists for over 25 years says a lot about how amazing the entire team is! My 8 yr old son woke up with a toothache at 2am one morning and Brenda was able to schedule him in THAT DAY for an emergency visit with Dr. Nik. Turns out he needed a root canal. After a week on antibiotics for the infection we scheduled the root canal with Dr. Patel, who was so kind and caring towards him. He explained everything he was doing step by step and ensured my son was 100% comfortable at all times. We went in thinking we may need to use laughing gas to keep my son calm but the team did that on their own by simply talking to him. Karolyn helped him control his breathing to stay calm when she saw he was getting nervous and they both talked him though every little step. They showed him the instruments they were using, explained how they worked and what were for etc. At one point my son did say he felt pain. Dr. Patel stopped to discuss it with him and actually listened. He took my sons word that he was in fact feeling something, even after he had already received freezing and proceeded to give him a little more to ensure there were no further issues. It was THE BEST experience we've had so far and I am so grateful to know that we have a clinic here in Perth that truly cares about their clients and has their best interests at heart! Dentistry @ Perth, you guys are AMAZING! We are so happy to have found you!

Had a very pleasant first visit.(I'm new in the area) Staff extremely cordial and answered all my questions. Office seems very organized and professional. Equipment seemed all the most modern. The Covid protocols all appear to be met. There certainly was no attempt at overselling in fact the dentist seemed concerned that I not waste money on work not recommended. Booked another appointment for the needed work and will let you know how that goes.

Myself and my two children aged 13 and 14 had appointments with Dentistry @ Perth. Our experience was a delightful one. We used to take the kids to Algonquin College ( it's a teaching college) where their appts were approximately 3 hrs long but VERY affordable. Closer to.home was a nice change. Kids loved the fact that could watch Netflix on the ceiling. :- ) Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Made us all feel very welcome at at ease. I would highly recommend the team at Dentistry@ Perth.

My first appointment was today. I felt it was very respectful, positive, lightweight, open, direct communication with EGOS checked at the door ???? - very refreshing and so grateful for a no-nonsense, listening team whom seem to work pretty respectfully, smoothly and optimistically with one another. The office was gracefully entered with a warming sense from the large electric fireplace and a small space me to grab a do-it-yourself cup of coffee, with cold, clean water available and a few snacks at a price just a bit higher than average. The whole environment was comfortably clean and spacious and crisp, yet, warm and inviting. I did not sense any discrimination nor attitude I have previously received from other dental services for being a recipient of ODSP. I first filled out 5 page history questionnaire, was seen by two Hygienists and the Dentist over a period of approximately 2.5 hours to complete all exams, xrays, most history, and a cleaning, with two powder room breaks, watch a serene video of stunning bodies of water from around the world, and time for a good conversation during the process. I was asked often if I was in any discomfort, was given direction to adjust the spray in my mouth, as I wished for comfort and everything went smooth as I left with my loot bag of a soft toothbrush in my chosen color, floss, toothpaste and a firm swabs tool that helps remove tartar in tight tooth spaces. Based on my first appointment review, overall I give them a confident 4 stars. I return again in 3 days for a tiny procedure that I was told would be 10 minutes, by the dentist himself. If anything changes in my opinion I will post it here.

I had my first implant (1st step) done today. Naturally I was not sure what to expect, but decided to just go with the flow. Impressive work by Dr. Hamal Patal, no pain during the procedure. Now first day passed and I feel OK. Of course there is some discomforts, but I have not needed a pain killer yet...I ate some soft foods and feel good. Highly recommend them and ???? to the team at Dentistry Perth!!!!

I've had my cleanings, x-rays, 4 fillings, assessment for an extraction, and night guard appliance all done in the last 6 months over several appointments, and each time has been positive. The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful, from front desk to assistants to the dental team. Everyone is very qualified and professionally trained, and the office is spotless, and uses up-to-date techniques and equipment. I had a complicated mouth when I first showed up for my initial appointment, and after the assessment I had a clear understanding of what needed to be done and when. and why. When I had emergency needs, I was assisted immediately and compassionately by the staff. And every time I am there, other patients coming and going also seem to be very happy with their experiences. They were very rushed, not enough time was givin to swab freeze my mouth before the freezing needle was used and it was the worst pain I’ve ever felt at the dentists. Then they pulled a tooth out and left behind a large piece of bone still imbedded in my gums. I’m hoping they will pull it out soon.

From our initial step in the door, we felt comfortable and "part of" the entire experience. The welcome at reception was friendly, and the very knowledgeable dental hygienist, Maria, was exceptional. Friendly and fun staff! I find going to the Dentist now more enjoyable and less stressful. I went to Dr. Patel for a second consult for getting an implant, as my regular Dentist spoke to me about getting one. Dr. Patel was very informative and advised in my case, an implant would not aid me in chewing food any better, but I could get one if I wanted, for cosmetic purposes. He saved me thousands of dollars, not many Dentists would do that. That was when I decided Dr.Patel was the Dentist for me and I switched Dentists. Also, I enjoy the TV on the ceiling and as a chronic back pain sufferer, the lower back massage and heat of the dental chair is very therapeutic and an added bonus.

Well I was nervous at first and then I remembered I was going to the Police station. Dentistry @ Perth, even though on occasion they might poke you with a little something they do a good job of minimizing the pain. I don't remember any pain yesterday. I like their discussion in preventing anything that might impact of your health. Everyone working there and those I have met waiting for their appointment are always in a good mood. When a procedure is done they give me a new toothbrush, and floss and a smile. Always a happy face or a laugh from the staff on my way out. I wonder if what I said was funny on the way out or is it the way my face looks after freezing. If you want a happy experience, check out Dr. Nik and his wonderful staff!! I went to this dentist without insurance for some tooth pain and was told I had multiple cavities that needed fillings. It didn't seem right, so I went to a different dentist who said that there was actually nothing wrong in those teeth. It could be a difference of opinion, but the other dentist seemed thorough and honest. Could potentially be unethical overtreatment for money. Be careful!

I had a dental emergency and I was seen within two days which was very prompt. I had an assessment and was put on an antibiotic to clear up the infection in my tooth. I appreciated in my follow up appointment to be given choices for my continuing treatment. Nov 12. I just had my follow up appointment which included full X-ray’s to access any more treatments. I was impressed with the state of the art X-ray equipment. I also had an excellent cleaning with the hygienist who was very thorough. I highly recommend this dental office in Perth.

Although, I was not a client at the time and my current dentist’s office was closed for the Christmas vacation, (as was most of the others in Perth). I took a chance and contacted Perth dentistry to help me with a semi-urgent dental issue. Brenda, the receptionist, returned my voice mail, within 20 minutes, asked the pertinent questions, accommodated my work schedule and fit me in the next morning before their regular appointments. Dr.Patel, repaired my temporary bridge with added composite so that I would have no further problems until I saw my dentist 10 days later. This was the 3rd time that the bridge required repair and Dr. Patel provided the most stable treatment. From the receptionist to the dental assistant to Dr.Patel, everyone was pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable and caring. The environment is meticulously clean and calm. I have been receiving dental care in Out of town for the last 12 years but now feel extremely confident to receive that care closer to home ! I would definitely recommend Perth Dentistry!

Brenda got me an emergency appointment within 2 days, after several other dentists in town weren’t gonna see me for 3-4 months. Dr Patel was kind, gentle, fast and swift, his assistant was super patient as well and together, they were an efficient and well in tune team who had me fixed up in no time at all. I was honestly impressed by the efficiency and positive atmosphere. I found the staff very friendly, knowledgeable and competent, the office well prepared with procedures for Covid protection, and Dr. Nik was very gentle, and did some fillings without needles, which I appreciate. The only reason I cannot give a 5 is that I was given a couple of brief instructions (which I actually totally mis-heard probably due to the mask) by the dental assistant after having a tooth extracted, and handed a sheet of instructions. Dr.Nik had left the room rather abruptly after the tooth was out and mentioning medication, with no mention of after-care. What I would have liked is either to have been given after-care instructions by Dr. Nik, or him at least mentioning that I would receive instructions from his assistant. And it would have worked better for the assistant to go through the instruction sheet item by item to ensure that I had indeed received this important information, and to allow me to ask questions about anything that I wasnt clear about on the sheet. Actually what I heard was that I had to "drink through a straw" when the instruction sheet said "do NOT drink through a straw." I think after-care instruction is as important as the work being done well, which I think it was. So everything was great, right up to the end, which is why the end was particularly disappointing.

Shelby, Maria and the team at Dentistry are absolutely wonderful. Our son has traditionally had a very difficult time with dentist appointments and they have completely turned it around for him. He adores locks and keys, and this past visit they went out and bought him two little locks as a prize for after his appointment. The fact that they made a note of this and then went the extra mile to make a little boys day blew us away. Thank you!!!
