I've been going to this dentist for about 3 years now. Absolutely amazing service every time I visit. I recently had a wisdom tooth removed here, and I was terrified beforehand. They knew this, and helped me feel comfortable through the whole process. They "knocked me out", and I don't remember a thing, nor did I feel anything. They also helped me through my recovery. Within a week I was back to normal. I would highly recommend this dentist.

So good at making you feel comfortable and calm during your visit. I had the pleasant experience in getting some fillings done and as much as I hate getting this done, they threw on some Netflix and constantly checked in with how I was feeling, giving my updates as they were working and it made for a really good experience. If you're not a fan of going to the dentist, like myself, I highly recommend this office as I am becoming more and more comfortable with the staff as they provide a really great experience.

I'm usually not one that likes to leave a negative review as I truly enjoy coming to the dentist office, but after my last visit I'm back having anxiety about it. I had never had this hygienist before and she waa nothing but rude and negative about my oral health. Didn't give me any positive or tell me wants to prove other then to floss. I got into my vehicle and cried because of how negative my visit was. I will definitely be asking that I don't get this hygienist again, hopefully my next visit will be more positive and make me want to stay at this office.

My first appointment at Carleton Place Dentistry was a very good experience. My husband and I are new to the area after living 5 hours away from here for over 30 years. We were concerned about changing our dentist but need not have been. We both felt well looked after and are impressed by the professionalism and the level of care from the front office all the way through to the dentists themselves. If you are looking for a new dentist I would highly recommend this clinic.

She went above and beyond and I thank her and her clinic for all their efforts. Follow up visits with their dental hygienist was also done professionally. I called today regarding a fractured front tooth and not only were the able to see me but they were also able to fix me up as well. They were patient with me and offered several options to help me get past my fears. I’ve already booked my next visit and will def share the word about the great care and patience they had with me. If you are a black person and do not have insurance stay away. They will overcharge you substantially by breaking up a cleaning job into three visits so that they can collect from you three times. They will scale (scrape off any plaque) on half of the teeth in your mouth in one visit, the other half in another visit and finally the polishing on your last visit. Just highway robbery. Never heard of such a thing, have always had my teeth cleaned in one visit. Their way you will pay a total of $589.86 including tax just for a cleaning. $174 for each visit. They would never dare bill a insurance company for this ridiculous amount. And no I am not some homeless person from the streets who has never visited the dentist in her life whose mouth is a horror story. I just move to this area last year in the pandemic and lockdown and has only recently been able to find a dentist that is still taking patients. I will definitely be driving the 3 hrs 35 mins to go back to my previous dentist. Plus they gave me the freezing gel on my gums but found it also necessary to inject me with Novocaine. or Septocaine an overkill in my book. It has been two days and I can still feel the numbing sensation in my mouth. Plus I had already paid $244 for new patient exam and x-ray. Very, very disappointed. Also they will not give you a proper receipt with the breakdown of what they are charging you for and yes I did ask and was told that all they charged me for was the scaling which in on the receipt, no mention of the injections or gel. I was going to bring my two daughters that have dental insurance there but now I will also take them back to my old dentist 3 hrs 35 mins away. Yes it has been 3 yrs since I visited the dentist but my teeth does not look like a zombie from Left for Dead.

Everyone here is so nice and helpful. They are also very speedy. They really take into consideration people's individual needs. For example, upon our first meeting they took note that I am mostly deaf in one ear and they clearly read notes on it because they always speak up or go to my good side for me to hear them. They also ask about your fear/anxiety level of being at the dentist when you first go in and are very respectful. The one "downside" (which really doesn't bother me, but is good for others to know) is that you pay your whole bill upfront. They will send it to your insurance for you, but it isn't automatically taken care of at the register. Not a big deal, and it certainly doesn't take away from my experience.
