the clinic has new owners (Dr Jalali & Dr. Karami) and they are awesome. I saw Dr. Jalali today. No one really likes going to the dentist, but Dr Jalali and his assistant Jessica made the experience a good one. Dr. Jalail took the time to perfect my filling and i am very happy. The new owners have also upgraded the facilities. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

The staff seemed very professional and friendly, even the treatment room was attractive to kids, however there's something gravely wrong with the pediatric dentist, Dr. Karami. By simply discussing with her the treatment of my own child prompted her to refuse booking me a new appointment and instead she gave me a referral to another very busy clinic (a week later I may add, but then she actually said, go see a different dentist), and when later I asked why, they told me Dr. Karami couldn't treat my child's case and a specialist was needed, which was plainly a lie. So was it impatience or arrogance from her end? I couldn't tell. But to be fair, if there had been a different pediatric dentist, the clinic would have been fantastic.

The Downtown Dental Clinic has been such a precious find for me this past year. My great friend Robert recommended their services and I have been with them ever since. I’m glad that I switched to them after being disillusioned with so many other clinics previously. Dr. Jalali is so amazing, patient, no pressure and highly knowledgeable dentist. He is straightforward and very informative, no BS with him. I absolutely love his matter of fact and approachable style. He has thoroughly and gently done all my surgeries, including a root canal, from which I healed suprisingly so quickly and with zero complication ????????????????. All the DDC staff is great and very professional. Shout out to my bubbly and very thorough hygienist, Shannon. She’s so cool ????????????. Never thought I’d say this in a million years but for the first time ever in my life, I always look forward to all my DDC visits ????????????‍♀️. Shannon (hygienist) is the best part of the clinic. I had some serious dental anxiety and hadn’t been in years. She helped coax me through it and never made me feel judged. She coached me through getting braces as an adult and made coming to the dentist a little bit easier. Super funny too. I’ve never known the name of the dentists at the location (they’ve changed a few times) but I literally only still go there because of Shannon.

Got a cleaning done and then my gum graft + check ups etc. Great experience all over, everyone at the clinic was super nice, and Anna did a great job on my gum graft. Definitely recommend! I was also worried about COVID when I got my graft done, and they explained to me all their safety procedures in a very nice way and even asked if my mom (who was extra worried) wanted to come visit the clinic.

I initially started coming here because it was conveniently located downtown, on my way to work in a central location. I have since been coming to this dental clinic for approximately 5 years. As mentioned, the location is really great. The clinic is welcoming, warm and clean. The hours here are great. They often open as early as 7:30am (I think) allowing you to come by before work. Staff here are always friendly and courteous. They've always dealt with my insurance well too, if I owe anything they usually just give me a call, rather than having me pay upfront too. I like this, this is convenient for me. They have a program here too, each referral will earn you a gift card of sorts. I referred a friend, and they issued me a $25 Mastercard gift card! Amazing! My only complaint about this dental clinic is the high turn over in staff. It seems I have a new hygienist and dentist every time I visit... Overall, I really enjoy this dental clinic and I would recommend it.

Highly not recommended, the dentist canceled the appointment after we have arrived because I asked her questions on what is she going to do for my kids. It was the worse experience ever, she didn’t explain what she is going to do well and she extracted 6 teeth for my daughter in two weeks whiteout having us prepared.

I am very pleased with the care that I have and continue to receive at this clinic. Over the years I have had a few negative dental experiences at other clinics...as corny as it sounds, Dr. Shahriar Jalali and team have restored my faith and eased my dentist anxiety. At the time of my first visit, Dr. Jalali asked what my insecurities/concerns were, and actively listened to what I had to say, and actually worked to resolve what I had raised, instead of just telling me what needed to be done (being taken advantage of/unnecessary procedures had been a trend at other clinics). Overall, I really felt as though I was treated as a human instead of just another patient needing treatment/open wallet. On another note, I am VERY pleased with my new smile. As you will see in the attached photos, I have lived my entire existence with these white spots on my teeth that have caused me significant insecurity. After seeing Dr. Jalali and team for other work, I felt comfortable in finally getting my teeth fixed. Dr. Jalali is truly a dental artist—my teeth look and feel natural...I love to smile now! I have not had any post-treatment trouble whatsoever. I cannot recommend this office enough! Also, the office texts you the day after your visit to check up on you...so cool. I was new to the city and read a lot of reviews for all offices in the downtown area (I did my research) and I am so thankful I found this office. Please see my before and after photos!

They fixed my problem and got me in fairly quick. That staff is very friendly and the doctor was great!. But I felt swindled when I left. I got a bar fixed and got charged $700. Thats almost my month's rent. They only after I was finished said they don't do payment plans and told me I had to pay everything up front. They did unexpected x-rays I also had to pay for. I'm a student and don't have that just laying around. Long story short I was short on my rent due to this month.

My father needed an emergency dental care recently. I contacted Downtown Dental Clinic and explained the situation. I received a call a couple of hours later and I was told Dr. Azadi (Anna) can see my father “tomorrow morning”. I was impressed how quickly she accepted to see my father. She worked on my father's teeth for almost 3 hours. My father says it was his best dental experience in his life. Dr. Anna performed a surgery on his teeth/gum. My father situation came back to normal after just one day without taking even one pain killer. My father was impressed how everything went smoothly and how the doctor patiently explained in detail all his questions before, during, and after 3 hours surgery. I highly recommend “Downtown Dental Clinic” and particularly Dr. Anna Azadi as your dentist. Although she looks young, but I am sure she is very experienced and confident at what she does. I have had my annual check-up, cleaning and cavity filling appointments at the clinic. The staff is so warm and welcoming. They really make the effort to put you at ease. Everyone from the hygienist to Dr. Dan, explain everything they were going to do during the procedures. Dr. Dan made the cavity filling (4 of them) painless and rather comforting. I never had dental anxiety until this dentist took over for my usual dentist. In the end it was a horrific experience with a root canal that made me seek a new dentist. Poor communication during procedures, ignoring or not appropriately responding to complaints of pain, lack of sympathy when I was over gassed with the Nitrous and had a horrific experience, topped by questionable procedure recommendations. My husband and a friend both left as well with suspicions of the dentist ordering unnecessary dental procedures. Shannon the hygienist has been cleaning my teeth for 10 years, she is amazing and I will miss her, but I would let my teeth rot before I let this dentist hurt me again.

I received the best possible care from Dr. Jalali and his fabulous team when I entered the clinic with an inflamed root and unbearable pain. Two days ago, I got done a root canal for the first time in my life, and it went very well. Yesterday was my son's dental visit. I have tried couple of times in the past to get him to see a dentist, but each time we went because he didn't feel comfortable and was too scared. He was a little scared yesterday as well. The Dr.Karami helped calm him down and explained to him step by step what she was doing and what each tool is used for cleaning teeth. I'm scared of dentists. Dr Jalali is the best dentist I've ever met, and I've seen several. It started last fall when I needed emergency dental care for an abcess. Dr Jalali met me, did a thorough assessment and discussed a plan to make my teeth and mouth healthy again. His calmness, his friendliness, his thoroughness in making sure I understood everything, inspired my trust and calmed my anxieties. (I should mention that I suffer from generalised anxiety.) When treatment time came, at my request, Dr Jalali made sure I would feel no pain. Even his technique to inject the freezing is amazing and painless. I risked requiring two root canals but his knowledge, skills and precision enabled me to avoid the more costly procedure. And let's not forget the amazing staff, from the reception to the hygienists. I've gone from being scared to death of dentists to actually looking forward to visiting again. And this may all sound a little exaggerated but it's really not. I would recommend Dr Jalali, and I have already, to anyone and especially to those who are nervous to see a dentist. Thank you Dr Jalali and the team. Thank you so much!

Things I like about downtown dental - always a good reception/customer service - properly trained staff - recently got a complicated tooth extraction done which Dr. And attending nurse/asst managed exceptionally compared to my previous experiences. Felt the least amount of pain and was given post op instructions clearly as well as personal number to reach the dr in case of any complications after working hours. - they also gave me masks when I asked for an exchange - really just like the service -paid for a service without claiming the typical insurance and the receptionist wrote out all the codes for me on the receipt Incase I needed to follow up with my private insurance. She didn’t need to do that, but did and I appreciated it. Things I don’t like - they are consistent about trying to get you to book your next appointment which sometimes may be annoying but I also understand as they are business -

I had the pleasure of being treated by Abby yesterday, and she was fabulous! Normally, I am tense, the cleaning is painful and my gums hurt for a day after a cleaning. Abby was so gentle, quick and efficient and her wonderful nature made the whole appointment a breeze (plus my teeth look and feel great)! Since the office was purchased in the last few years, I have seen some great changes to the practice! The only suggestion I would have is to have the video screens on for the adults as well as the kids.:)

My 2 and 5 years old children are Dr Karami’s patients. Their experiences have been awesome. My daughters really enjoy being there in the Kids Room! They choose the cartoon they want to watch while getting the procedure done! Dr Karami is very gentle, friendly and knowledgeable and knows how to deal with them professionally. She explains every required step and makes sure the parent and the kid are understanding what is going on. The token system to earn a prize is a fun experience with each visit! You can tell that they really care about their patients as they are very meticulous and always take the time to make sure that the job is done properly. I recently went to this dental clinic and did cleaning and root canal and I had a great experience there. The clinic is really clean. The staff are very friendly. The cleaning was really good. Dr. Jalali did a fantastic job (root canal). I was very satisfied. He explains every step that is going to do, he took two X-rays during my root canal to make sure everything is perfect. I did not have any pain. My tooth looks very good and natural and I did not have any pain.
