If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! This is the kind of dental clinic you enjoy coming to, even if it takes a toothache to get there :)). Dr. Bracanovich is phenomenal; she's got the unique combination of skill, talent, experience, and amazing personality and is so human and kind. She takes incredible care of her patients and is so good at what she does. Her staff is equally amazing. They are so caring and kind and competent. The clinic is super clean and has a great ambiance. I had a toothache and after two weeks of waiting to see what would happen, I finally called the office; they got me in almost immediately and took care of it. I had to bring my toddler along (because that's life sometimes), and she made it an amazing experience for my girl, who looks forward to coming to the dentist with me. She also goes for her own teeth and loves it every time. Dr. B has a way with all people, children included. I was referred to her clinic by my manager at work and have been so pleased ever since I started coming here. Amazing professionalism, amazing customer service, amazing work means happy me!! I'm definitely her patient for life.

I can’t express how happy I am with my first visit to Sparks Dental Clinic. Getting my teeth worked on is NOT my favourite thing, but everyone from the Admin. assistants at the front door to Dr. B herself made me feel at ease with their friendly demeanour and willingness to laugh at my lame jokes! I also don’t remember ever getting such a thorough examination and easy-to-understand explanation of my dental treatment plan at any other place. I left the office today with a profound sense of joy; not just from my vastly improved smile, but knowing I’ve FINALLY found a group of professionals that do a great deal to take care of their patients... not JUST their teeth. My first time here was an excellent experience right across from the receptionist, the x-ray person, the hygienist and finally Tanya the dentist. Everyone was was very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend this place. My second visit for more extensive work left me satisfied and with barely any post-op discomfort. More than twenty years ago, I was working in Sparks Street Mall in Ottawa and at the time, I was in search of a dentist who was very skilled but also who was someone with compassion towards patients. Then I saw this dentist office in the mall called Sparks Dental Clinic which later I learned it was owned and operated by Dr. Tanya Bracanovich. Dr. Bracanovich was what I was looking for and a whole lot more. So much that after 20 plus years and despite the fact that I am retired now and live in the suburbs of Orleans in the East end with tons of local dentists nearby, I travel all the way from Orleans to downtown Ottawa so that I could remain her patient. Dr. Bracanovich’s team’s energetic and positive environment makes it so that anytime I go there, I come back with a smile and impressed by their professionalism and courteous treatment. In recent weeks, my mother who is 85 was in excruciating pain in one of her teeth and I was desperate as her usual dentist was not available for a few months. I did not know what to do, so I contacted Sparks Dental Clinic and I explained the situation and they were kind enough to see her on an urgent basis and treated her for the pain and now after some root canal work and reconstruction of her tooth which her denture was anchored on, my mother is pain free and she is a very thankful for the treatment, kindness, positivity, and generosity that she has been given by Dr. Bracanovich and her wonderful Sparks Dental Clinic team. Thank you Sparks Dental for your compassion and excellence.

Simply put, Sparks Dental Clinic is incredible. I, like a lot of people, have tremendous anxiety when visiting a dentist and/or having dental work done; likely as a result of previous negative experiences with not-so-great dentists. I recently had a wisdom tooth extraction with Dr. Ross, and it was a pleasant experience. That's right, you heard me - it was a pleasant experience. From the outset, Dr. Ross carefully explained the procedure, what she intended to do, how she intended to do it, and was open to any questions I had. She also made it exceptionally clear that consent was important, and that I was in charge of the appointment; if at any point I wanted to stop, she would do as I asked. This was the first time that a dentist has, 1) fully explained the procedure, and 2) made me feel empowered, as if this appointment was within my control. Beyond that, she was patient, kind and has the touch of an angel (I did not feel a thing). Further, the support staff (including dental support and secretarial support) are kind, patient and attentive. There are so many more positive things to say but I will focus on the most important: the kindness, patience and professionalism of Sparks Dental Clinic has convinced me that, with the right dentist, there's no need to dread going to the dentist.

I was very happy with the treatment I received from Dr. B., as always. She fixed my broken tooth with no problems whatsoever. However, she has now adopted the practice of having a "finisher" to complete the job, i.e. someone who steps in to grind down the new filling to make sure it fits with the patient's bite. This the first time I have ever had a second person come in to complete the job at any dental office but I understand that it is a common practice these days. I found that the "finisher" (sorry I don't know her name) was rather heavy handed in her approach and put a lot of physical pressure on the tooth in question to grind it down. That created neck and upper back pain which persisted through the evening. I have a chronic issue with my neck and back. While I was in the chair, I wore a neck collar with a warm bean bag inside in an attempt to minimize any negative impact. However, in this instance, it was not effective. The next time I would appreciate a more gentle approach. Thanks for listening!

I got told to go to this dentist from my family doctor. Not only was the dentist micro managing the desk upon my arrival, but they insisted on photocopying my status card and odsp information. After several times calling them (with promise of a call back that never happened) they respond that as I am not a patient, they're not going to operate on me. This was after they photocopied my personal information, and made it seem like they were. Very disappointed. Worst dentist I've been to.

I was in twice in the past six months, very impressed both times. I was a little anxious after having gone quite a while without seeing a dentist but Dr. Bracanovich put me at ease right away. We’ve been with Sparks Dental for years but didn’t make an appointment over the last two years because of COVID. My two year old just had his first visit, and I went in for a chipped tooth. My husband also went for his checkup. We don’t work nearby anymore given remote work but we’d happily make the drive anytime because the staff there is amazing. They were very caring and great at their job. I was asked constantly if I was doing OK but it went so well, I didn’t feel any pain throughout the appointment. I’ve had poor experience in the past with other clinics, where even a small cut or tiny stab too hard makes the visit suck. Plus my two year old had a blast! That says a lot for a toddler.

All the staff is wonderful! Very considerate and always let you know exactly what's going on....and painless! (And I really appreciate the painless part 'cause I hate needles :) ) But seriously, the whole team is outstanding!! Highly recommended!!

I was trying to make an appointment with a dentist. I’ve never been in this clinic before, but I read good reviews. On the phone a secretary said me that doctor wishes to do dental cleaning right away for a new client. I replied for first time I need just panoramic x-ray and doctor consultation. So secretary agreed for it. She said they do not do clients claims for insurance, client must pay right away and then claim it from insurance. Then secretary said that I should provide my bank information over the phone, as they want to take 100$ deposit, I said I am able provide deposit in personal, when I will be in the clinic. I do not know why they do not trust new clients, why I have to provide them my bank info over the phone ? Why they not friendly for new clients. Did you ask my bank info because I speak with accent, and you think immigrants cannot pay for dental treatment ? There are many other dental clinics who will help me. You are not only the one in Ottawa.
