The care that was taken by the office for the complications from COVID-19 were assuring. All equipment needed is in each room. I am naturally not fond of dentists to start with and am extremely cautious because of COVID-19. The assistant made me feel comfortable. The dentist was patient and took the time to explain everything. The worst part of the experience was the taste of the topical freezing. They waited long enough for it to take effect so I didn't feel the needle for the local freezing. They put enough freezing so I didn't feel anything but pressure during the extraction. They were done before I realised it. They made me feel liked they cared for my physical and mental wellbeing.

This is a fraud!!!!!!!! The cleaning here is ridiculous. My bf has to come to this clinic 3 times and spend $500 to finish one dame cleaning. THE WORST PART: the job was done too badly. his teeth was bleeding a lot, and cause some serious irritation for over 2 weeks.

My dental hygienist greeted me at the door when it was time to complete the COVID screening. Then I had dental x-rays in a separate room and the mouth piece was covered in plastic. The work stations were all partitioned with heavy plastic so it felt more private and I think there was an air purifier on the floor. It was very cool so I could have used a sweater. My hygienist explained how things were going to go so no surprises and that was appreciated. I felt completely safe and secure for my appointment and it felt great to get me teeth cleaned after 9 months!

Had such a fantastic experience there! The staff was very friendly, the nurses were always smiling and above all Dr. Horrigan was amazing. She was very smooth in handling the fillings for two of my cavities and was very thorough in explaining what she was doing. She gave me full background on my case and suggested several alternatives. The filling was fantastic, one of the very few that I did and didn't have any issues with sensitivity right after. 100% recommend Dr Horrigan ????

Like many people, im not a fan of going to the dentist...that being said, it's pretty great here. The atmosphere is good and the staff is very nice and welcoming. I was here for a wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled. It was done quickly and pain free. I'll be coming back here again.

Very unethical billing practices, procedures aren't really explained and prices are never stated in advance (most are above the amounts recommended by the provincial guide) . Dentist themselves are alright, though I did end up with a chunk of plastic in my throat. The hygienists are the only ones who seem good at their jobs.

Ottawa West Dental is amazing. From the ease of booking an appointment to the explanation of how best to treat me to actually treating me. The Dental is clean, the receptionists are nice and helpful and the dentists are very experienced. I've been to many dentists before and all of them either made my teeth worse or caused me more pain then I was already in. But the dentists at Ottawa West Dental did not cause me any pain. They also created a follow up plan for me to never go through the pain I went through previously. These dentists truly care about you and I would recommend them to everyone.

Booked appointment online. Apparently they have to call you ? before u are confirmed. Website said my appointment was confirmed? When i showed up for this appointment they had no record. They were able to book me later. All staff pleasant. Brenda put me at ease but I am very anxious in dentists'and doctors' offices. And avoid for as long as I can. Dr Den ardo was calm and pleasant. They explained what they were doing and explained options well after reviewing xrays with me. Answered my questions. Explained why one option would be the best for my case and what could happen down the road. Appt set for next day 4 procedure. Explained what 2 expect during and after. All good. Interesting note--more female dentists etc which was nice to see. I should have asked for a list of fees charged for procedures. I like to have an idea of the costs before I commit.
