I am delighted to say that Dr. Yassine has assembled a wonderful team of dentists, hygienists and administrative staff. In addition he has updated his practices so that text messaging and billing are smoothly integrated into the patient experience. Dr. Yassine offers a compete range of services including implants and is a delightful, positive and careful professional. You always know what will happen, is happening and has happened. In addition they have implemented state of the art controls during the COVID 19 pandemic to keep you safe and to keep them safe. I recommend Dr. Yassine and his team

First time posting a review of a business or establishment ever. But I wanted to express my gratitude and overall satisfaction with Dr. Yassine and his staff at Kent Street. From the second you walk in, to during the procedure, to when you are leaving, the entire process is done in a kind and professional manner. Dr. Yassine and his staff have a sense of humor also, which really helps with the anxiety that sometimes comes with a visit to the dentist. I won't get into the details of my procedure today but it was a pretty complicated one. I am more than satisfied with my trip there today and will not hesitate to go back. Thank you.

I recommend this office. Kent Street Dental Center has a very high COVID 19 protocol. Only patients gain access to the building through a buzzer intercom. This makes me feel very safe, as an anxious dental patient everything helps ????. The staff are always friendly and show concern for all their patients. My visits, including my first one, are unexpected due to fracturing teeth. I have had the 'pleasure' of being treated by both Dr. Rami Yassine and Dr. Roger Thacking. Their professionalism, knowledge and, expertise is always on point. Explaining every step. I had to have a tooth removed. They explained why having a graft was important to future jaw stability or if I chose to have an implant. I never knew how important keeping my teeth, my own teeth was. I personally hate going to the dentist, this office keeps me coming back for check up and fixes.

Many thanks to Dr. Yassine for accommodating me last Wednesday and extracting my infected wisdom tooth, when my regular dentist could not fit me in. I had never met Dr. Yassine before but he immediately inspired confidence with his professionalism and friendly demeanour. I was getting desperate because of the pain and when I phoned the office at 3:15 pm he agreed to take me right away. I was there by 3:40 pm and the extraction was finished by about 4:20 pm. So thankful to Dr. Yassine and his team for taking care of me on short notice and staying late on top of that!

Very welcoming staff! The two times I've been there I didn't have to wait in the waiting room at all. Dr. Yassine is very friendly - I had to get my first fillings ever and I was worried, but he made me feel comfortable and got them done in 15 mins without having to use any freezing so I could continue my day!

This was my first trip to a dentist in 10 years after a tooth infection swelled my entire face up so bad I had to hit the ER at 3am for antibiotics. The office was clean & professional (with proper COVID sanitary practices, don't put off going to the dentist because of COVID!) and the staff were all extremely friendly and answered any questions I had! My case turned out to be a rare complication called tooth resorption that would require a tooth extraction, deep drilling and a bone graft, yikes! Dr. Rami Yassine is super friendly & knowledgable and recognized the problem immediately, offering to treat it right then and there, showing me the x-ray and explaining every step of the procedure and all my options including long-term ones if I decide to replace the extracted tooth with an implant, and he answered every question I had...from what exactly was wrong with my tooth and how it got that way, to price estimates of my various options so I can plan out my finances for when things heal up and I can come back for an implant down the road! With my gums inflamed and infected and how deep he'd have to drill I was expecting a ton of pain, but Dr. Yassine's freezing technique is awesome! As he freezes the area spot by spot, he goes nice and slow and has you raise your hand whenever you feel even the slightest poke as he tests to make sure the whole area is frozen...when you raise your hand he stops immediately and waits until you give a thumbs-up to test the spot again, making sure the freezing has taken over and you can't feel anything at all before he continues. He says "You're in complete control, I'm going at your pace and only going further when you give me the thumbs-up" and that helps you feel in control which makes the whole thing way less scary. He did this process step by step all the way down deep into my root and explained exactly what he was doing the entire time! And in the end, despite all my worrying the entire procedure was TOTALLY painless! I'm on day 2 of healing up and there's already almost no pain, I thought I would be hurting for weeks! After extracting my tooth, drilling out the mess in the root and doing a bone graft, he sutured it up & gave me a prescription and his awesome assistant Nicole (Hi, Nicole! lol) walked me through all the aftercare, explaining why it was important and what complications could arise if I don't follow the instructions! I'm SO glad I went in, the whole experience was great and the spot where my tooth was looks like it's going to heal up nicely! I highly recommend Kent Street Dental, especially if you've had painful experiences with dentists in the past and are looking for a place that places extra emphasis on making sure you have a painless visit and answering your questions!

Yesterday, I went to Kent Street Dental on Kent Street in Ottawa, ONT. I had to have one large filling done, and two small fillings down on my two front teeth, which were stained and had the appearance of vertical fissures that were unattractive. I received fantastic service provided by Dr. Yaseen and his dental hygienist, Daniela. They did everything in their powerful to make the procedures as pain-free as possible. Dr. Yaseen kept me informed each step along the way telling me what he was doing. He constantly monitored my comfort level. I was amazed how much he was able to get done in under 60 minutes from the time I was in the chair. I have to say the COVID-19 protocols at Kent Street Dental made me feel safe from the time I arrived until the time I left. I should add that a week earlier I had my teeth cleaned by a very competent dental hygienist who performed her work with the same level of care as Dr. Yaseen and Daniela. If you and possibly your family are looking for one of the best dental clinics in all of Ottawa, I can't recommend Kent Street Dental more highly. Fantastic service.

Dr. Hacking is a highly skilled dentist. He has many years of experience under his belt. He is also friendly and unpretentious. Until very recently he had staff who worked for him for 20 plus years but retired. I think the fact that they stayed with him for so long says alot about the kind of person he is. The office staff are knowledgable, professional, and personable. Roz is an awesome hygenist who also has great people skills and is very kind. I can't say enough nice things about her.
