I used to go here. I was fairly happy with my care and the hygienists were always good. I did not know who my dentist even after 2-3 years because it was somebody different every time. I realized afterward my fillings were poorly done. I had one fall out and had to be redone within 1 year (also done at Florence Dentistry). They were always jagged and not smooth with my teeth. Another fell out 1 year later. My new dentist had to redo 2 of them because they were done improperly and plaque was collecting underneath. Florence Dentistry is fine for cleanings and such, but I would not get any other fillings done there.

I am seeing Dr Edit Lukacs Dragoi for 2 years now, and I had my first repair (2 things) this week. I wanted to write a rewiew because I was very impressed. She is the most attentive dentist I have ever met. She is very gentle and I feel that she is a great human been. I like her a lot.

Do not go here if you are anxious at the dentist or want a professional opinion about your teeth. As someone who has had negative experiences during dental procedures, I was reluctant to switch to Florence Dentistry from a clinic I loved but did so out of convenience and proximity to my apartment. I visited Florence Dentistry once for a cleaning and exam, and the hygienist was really great at addressing my concerns, taking frequent breaks, and making me feel comfortable. However, I was unimpressed by the rest of my visit. I was left alone in the exam room for a long time while waiting to be seen by the dentist. There was not a lot of clarity in the dentist's explanation to me about my dental health. Worst of all, the dentist made it seem like an absolute necessity to remove my wisdom teeth because I had just turned 27 and that was suddenly "the magic age where it takes an obscenely long time for your mouth to heal". There was no discussion about my dental health such as how my wisdom teeth actually fit fine in my mouth or that they weren't affecting my other teeth. I left my appointment in tears because the dentist insinuated that I had caused irreparable damage to my mouth and that when I eventually did get my wisdom teeth out, it would take months to heal. It was truly a traumatic experience that I wish I had avoided.

Don’t go here if you value your teeth. In a basic checkup Dr. Dragoi told me I had a cavity that needed filling. During the following botched procedure she somehow managed to mangle the tooth, resulting in extreme pain for a month afterward. When I went to see the senior dentist in the office to fix the problem, she told me she couldn’t see any issues and basically told me to rub sensodyne on it for a few weeks. Covid hit, and I haven’t been able to eat properly for 3 months. Finally going to see another dentist now. Worst experience ever. Follow up: My new dentist was easily able to discover a crack in the tooth, which Dr. Dragoi either caused or misdiagnosed. Pretty bad that neither of the two dentists who I saw at Florence Dentistry were able to properly diagnose or fix the real problem.

It was my first Visit at Florence Dentistry and I was pleasantly surprised. I was welcomed and treated very nicely by the staff. The whole dentistry seemed freshly renovated and clean which is nice to see during this world pandemic, even the bathroom was spotless which is a trick of mine to know if I made a right decision while picking a business of any sort. My dentist was Dr Lysik (Hopefully I spelled it right) and she was caring and passionate about everything. She would even give me tips on how to avoid coming to the dentist as often in order to save money which shows how decent of a human being she is. Long story short, I will be back, and I highly recommend this Dentistry.

I was instantly greeted by the front desk staff and was felt right at home. Unlike most dental offices, I did not wait the standard hour and was seen within a few minutes of my scheduled appointment time . Had an amazing experience. My cleaning was efficient and hygienist was friendly and knowledgeable.

Prior to going to Florence Dentistry I hadn't seen a dentist in 10 years, and only ended up pulling the trigger on in once a tooth was causing me daily pain. I was very nervous about the whole experience, but they were all extremely warm, welcoming and professional. After the first teeth cleaning session the pain was gone, and after a few more visits Dr. Pershad my cavities were filled as well. It's a tremendous relief not worrying about the health of my teeth anymore. I couldn't recommend their services more highly.

I went here for a cavity and had no issues whatsoever. I was a little worried because of some of the reviews on here but I am happy that I chose Florence Dentistry. The reception welcomed me and walked me through the process. The dentist was caring and professional, taking their time to properly find the source of my pain, then delicately and meticulously resolve it. ????Recommend

I don't often post reviews, but I have been so impressed with the service offered at Florence Dentistry that I had needed to - actively - recommend them to any possible future clients. Dr. Dragoi was not satisfied with my previous crown and encouraged me to get a better one. My tooth situation was complex due to the colour, but she made all the necessary arrangements throughout the complicated process. Such as: (a) Seeing me multiple times (even exceptionally on days she wasn't scheduled to work, to fit my schedule); (b) Being in constant communication with the dental lab (getting them to remake the crown and even getting the lab assistant to come by during the cementing of the crown to make sure that the shade and shape of the new crown were perfect); and (c) Even voiding professional costs associated with the procedure. I am so happy with the result. Throughout the whole experience, both her, Josee and the entire team were incredibly kind, thoughtful and supportive, giving me their honest feedback and quickly fixing any issues I had. Best client service experience I have ever had in my life.

I've been going to Dr. Lysik for 20 years, before they moved downtown. She's always very friendly and I believe honest with her findings, clearly showing on x-ray any cavities I had (completely my fault for drinking too much soda). Overall great dentist and definitely recommend giving her a try!

been here today for the first time after *YEARS* without seeing a dentist (Shame on me!). I was here for a cleaning. I have to say I am a VERY anxious person and I really do not feel comfortable when I go to the dentist's; however, my experience here was AMAZING. My dentist's name was Celia (if I spelled it correctly) and she was very delicate, understanding, and she put me at ease from the beginning. I actually am looking forward to the second part of my cleaning next week. Also the lady at the front desk was super friendly. I really recommend this place!

They accidentally filed the same tooth twice instead of another tooth just a week later. The filing fell out a few months later and they completely missed the cavity when they went to fill the other tooth. I've had nothing but issues since then and was just told to brush with sensodyne instead of fixing my problems...

I was very nicely surprised that I was able to found professional, attentive, kind and AFFORDABLE dentist by google'ing up Ottawa Dentist. I am extremely happy with dental procedure. Dr. Lysik was very attentive, kind, and professional. Secretary very helpful with filling up paper work. All prep work minimized, they have requested x-ray from my previous dental office instead of x-ray'ing me again and charging for it. Office equipment is very modern, decor is truly nice and very clean, mouth cameras, electronic insurance claims. 5 Star dental office. Highly recommended.
