Amazing staff, always a positive experience when I come here. Front desk is very welcoming and wonderful to speak to. Every member of the team is informative and courteous. It’s the first dental office to explain the why behind the what. Dr. Gustavo and his team take every care to ensure you are fully informed and comfortable at every step, making dentist visits much more enjoyable. A great atmosphere, warm energy and clinic is always clean. Professional and attentive, couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend!

Went here on the recommendation of a friend and I'm glad I did! I was unable to see a dentist for 10 years prior to this, so I was pretty nervous, but the entire team made my experience great and very comfortable! Everyone I interacted with at the office was extremely kind and professional. I can't recommend this place enough!

The staff is really cool, fun to talk to, dentist super down to earth. for the first time in my life, i really don't mind going to the dentist. thank you guys!

I’m quite squeamish about going to the dentist for a variety of reasons and since I’ve been going to Dr. Gus and Monica and Ron my dental life is immeasurably more joyous and I actually look forward to every visit. I’m someone who needs a lot of dental help and so I’ve been a part of several treatments, in both offices, and it’s always been pure charm. The staff is excellent, there’s no other way to put this. Everyone is caring to the point of going well out of their way to help. Without going into too many gnarly details about my dental background and why I have so many visits to think back on, please know, you are in exceptionally caring hands and you may even be relieved of fears you had about dentists and the experiences you’ve had in the past. I’m endlessly grateful for everyone giving me more than enough time for treatments, questions, after care, reminders about upcoming appointments... I can’t imagine a more kind and thoughtful team. The team is what every dental practice should aspire to.

I had an abscessed tooth. I gave them a call and they saw me within an hour of them opening the day I needed them. They were able to remove said tooth, so heres hoping for a good recovery for me lmao Nice staff, and a dentist with some humour. Id recommend

I am so happy I came here! I initially decided on Family Dental Care-Ottawa because of the location and the fact that they do direct billing. I totally lucked out by receiving the best care from Hwer and Dr. Bui. I can get pretty bad anxiety about clinical settings. Especially after my dad passed away in the ICU this summer. The patient intake form allows you to specify (if your would like) any mental or physical conditions which allows them to give you the best care and they actually take time to review it. I hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years and had some very pressing issues to deal with. They contiually checked in on to me ensure I was doing okay and I truly felt safe and secure. Not to mention they were very talanted, nice, funny and worked perfectly in tandem. The front desk staff were lovely too! It's weird to say but I feel almost happy to be returning for some more work in a few weeks!

It's been a few years since I've gone to the dentist. Last time I went I had a bad experience so I was hesitant. But I needed and tooth extracted and Dr Gustavo and his team made me feel comfortable and went through everything with me very thoroughly. Ron is an incredible receptionist and I'm happy that I have found a new dental place. Update: I've been seeing Dr. Bui now and he is so patient and wonderful. He takes the time to discuss whatever situation you are in and it's very reassuring. The whole team makes sure you are comfortable and I find that is important since sometimes visiting the dentist can cause some anxiety. Great reception from Zoe and appreciate the follow up to make sure if you are okay. Overall, great team and I would recommend it.

I had a really bad experience. Over the phone they told me that 1 hour is good for cleaning , i went at 1:50 , and still the hygenist said that she doesn't have time to clean my top teeth, she just cleaned the bottom. I was like but i had an appointment I cannot leave without cleaning the whole teeth. I will never go there again.

I love the team at the downtown Family Dental Care clinic. Reception takes the time to get to know you and is very fast and efficient setting up your documents and direct billing. The staff is all around 10/10 and they take the time to educate you every step of the way. Other clinics made me hate the dentist... but here, they managed to keep me talking and laughing through most of it! I am very happy to be a new client! Thank you!

I called this morning I’m so much pain, they told me come in right away they will at least freeze me until they could see me and asked I be patient. I went filled in forms and two minutes later they saw me took my picture, exam, and within 30 minutes my tooth was out. Dr. Bui and the amazing assistant were SO great, beyond caring, and knew I was nervous but they went above for me. Highly recommend. Once I get on my insurance/benefits I will be back to get the rest of the work I need done by him.

Excellent! Everyone at this location are so great! It has direct billing which makes things incredibly affordable right away. Not only that, but I was about to reschedual an appointement due to not getting my pay yet and the receptionist said "No worries, just pay us back whenever you can." How awesome is that!? I also realized that my previous dental institution tried to scam me as they said I had 4 BAD cavities that needed filling ASAP (This was 3 years ago) and I truly only need 2 fillings right now. They're also super honest! The only downfall is the parking downtown, but I don't mind at all paying a bit extra for that when they offer such great service. Recommend them to all! Good job :)

Had some fillings done with dr. Acevedo recently. Very friendly professional, and efficient- fixed a minor cosmetic issue with my front tooth at the same time, which was very kind. Front desk staff are helpful and welcoming. Teeth cleaning is a little slower because of new Covid restrictions, so budget time accordingly. My teeth are very happy now!
