I don't think there is anyone out there who is more afraid of having to go to the dentist as I am. I had to do a root canal at Dr. Lee's office and I'd like to share my experience in hopes that it will help others like myself and ease their worries a little. My first appointment with Dr. Lee was just a generic xray and cleaning. Even just a cleaning is enough to make me extremely anxious. Once I got there, I had told Dr. Lee and his team I get really anxious at the dentist and they really took this into consideration from beginning to end. They were professional, gentle and really gave me a sense of comfort that I hadn't felt at a dental office before. A week later I chipped my tooth and was told I had to do a root canal! Leading up to my appointment I was extremely nervous and anxious as per usual. When I got there Dr. Lee helped ease my worries by telling me some comforting facts about performing a root canal then he reassured me it's not too different from a regular filling. The entire procedure was nothing like I had imagined. I'm not sure if it's the cutting edge technology that he uses or Dr. Lee himself, or both but the procedure was indeed painless. Dr. Lee would talk to me during the procedure and cracked jokes from time to time and it really made the entire experience not only tolerable but positive. I just got back from my third appointment today with Dr. Lee and guess what, I didn't feel nervous or anxious leading up to my appointment and to no surprise, my visit was painless once again. If you are someone like myself, I highly recommend this dental office.

I have been going to Dr. Lee for nearly 10 years, and even though it's now an hour drive for me, I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. Dr. Lee designed and implemented a custom treatment for my TMJ issues that previous dentists and doctors had been unable to resolve. His commitment to my treatment plan led to life-changing improvements in my jaw. I would highly recommend him. Also, Pat at the front desk is amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable about my insurance coverages. And, last but not least, Alicia (my hygienist), is amazing, I won't let anyone clean my teeth.

Had to go in before work for a quick filling. People usually say fillings are a complicated and painful procedure however Dr. Lee used a method of sand blasting and filling that was quick, easy, and completely pain free. The best money I have honestly ever spent and the best cosmetic dentist and experience I have ever had. A rating of five stars seriously does not do Dr. Lee justice. About 9 years ago I had gotten my braces of four years removed and absolutely loved my smile, however I had bonding on four teeth that I knew was going to change colour over time due to staining. I fought with myself over and over again on how my teeth were perfectly straight but colour and shape of these teeth (being bulky) was a huge bother to me still. After seeing Dr. Lee and having a consult I decided to go through with getting whitening and veneers done on my top teeth. It was the best decision I have ever made. The entire process for myself took about 4 weeks; whitening, molds, temporary teeth, the lab, and the finale. I have never felt so happy and beautiful about my smile and about my appearance in my entire life. I know getting veneers can be a hard decision for some but Dr. Lee and staff made this decision and process so easy and reassuring. The shape and the colour of my teeth is impeccable. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for cosmetic dental work. I am extremely picky when it comes to beauty because I am pursing my career in that field, and I trust Dr. Lee and staff beyond words. The amount of compliments I get about my smile/teeth is insane..I kid you not when I say I get complimented on my smile/teeth about once at least a day. Dr. Lee not only knows what looks best as he is able to make fantastic recommendations BUT he still allowed me to have a say on what shape I was looking for and how white I wanted to go etc. to me that is an extremely important quality to have and look for in a cosmetic dentist and that is why I recommend Dr. Lee. Having guidance but being able to still have comfort in knowing that YOU can have a say on the outcome of your cosmetic work that is being done is beyond important. It has been since July 2019 that I have had my veneers and every time I look in the mirror I am so forever thankful and happy with the work done. Edit: August 2021 After years of making the trip and being happy with the service, things started to change. My husband and I were booked in for simultaneous appointments and then they needed to reschedule. Things happen, so I was willing to forgive and forget. Then, I get a call two weeks before our appointments saying that Dr. Lee won't be able to do a check-up but they assumed we would be ok with still just coming in for a cleaning. I let the receptionist know that my husband was having some issues with his wisdom teeth and would need to see Dr. Lee. However, because of a move out of town, we would be happy to take appointments on different days. As it happened, they were able to see my husband the next day because of a cancellation! Great! But there were apparently no appointments at all for me. I didn't need my appointment urgently, so I could wait, but only for so long. Several days later, I get a call to confirm an appointment for me. Four days before my scheduled appointment, I get a voicemail saying that Dr. Lee will be leaving the office before my appointment time so they won't be able to do a dental check-up. They hope that I'm ok to just do my cleaning but could reschedule if I want to. Why on earth would I chose to reschedule again when I can almost guarantee that I won't see the dentist? Sad to have to leave to find another dentist, but I don't have the patience for these games anymore. I do not recommend that you try this clinic unless you have a completely open schedule and are ok to regularly reschedule check-ups. Just had the best experience with Dentistry @ Bank! After a terrible experience with my long-time former dentist, I was nervous about going to another dental clinic. However, Hannah at the front desk was so welcoming and accommodating (I wanted to book appointments for myself and my husband at the same time in the early morning and she made it happen). Alicia did an exceptional job on the cleaning (especially since I had three years' worth of plaque buildup)! Dr. Lee is so warm, kind, and professional. I love how honest he is and how far he goes to give the very best care to his patients! If you're looking for a dentist in the Alta Vista area, I highly recommend checking out Dentistry @ Bank!

My experience at this clinic has been outstanding. I haven’t been to the dentist for a true oral health exam in more than maybe 10 years and needless to say I had a lot of work ahead of me. Dr. Lee was direct yet compassionate in every exam, and made sure I was comfortable with each procedure along the way. I had several fillings that were completed over two separate visits. Scheduling these appointments was made easy by the excellent staff and they were very accommodating. We managed to spread the work out so the first visit was in 2019 and the second in 2020, taking full advantage of my insurance. The patient coordination was exceptional, and their knowledge of my insurance coverage was really impressive and comforting. I really felt like I was in good hands. One thing I’d like to point out as well was some of the cosmetic dentistry that was performed. I had stains on my front teeth and white blotches that I was self-conscious about and Dr. Lee had them taken care of within 20 minutes of the second appointment. I feel more confident with my smile and I’m really grateful for his professionalism and expertise.

Let me preface this review by saying I have always absolutely hated going to the dentist. Because of this, I had neglected my teeth for too long and I knew that there was an underlying issue that needed diagnosis. Luckily I stumbled upon Dr. Lee and his team. His facilities are clean and modern, his staff are friendly and engaging, there seems to be no air of stuffiness that I've felt in almost every other medical setting I've been in, and my appointments have been on time. He takes the time to explain everything concisely and honestly and during my (two-part) root canal, him and his assistant constantly ensured I was comfortable, applying more freezing as needed. His front-office staff are very helpful with my litany of questions both in-person and on the phone and billing my benefits was quick and seamless. I don't think I'll ever enjoy having dental work done on me, but Dr. Lee and his team have certainly made the experience far less daunting.

Dr. Lee is very professional and always answers questions with patience. Both of my kids did examination and cleaning at his office. It went smoothly for both of them. My daughter was also treated at his office. We are very pleased with the service and care we received.

Office is conveniently located on the ground floor. I appreciate the up to date equipment such as the spotlight that does not shine in your eyes. Scaling is never pleasant, but the hygienist kept the discomfort to a minimum. Once I had to have an expensive procedure. I had no insurance so Dr. Lee gave me a break on the price.
