I'm a patient of Dr.Hidayat. I've been to him now for 1 filling, and 1 unsuccessful extraction. However the failure of the extraction was on my unique fault. My bone density was extreme to the point that is a genetic mutation, which we were unaware at the time. Dr.Hidaya worked near two hours on the extraction, for what should have been a five minute procedure. At the end of the surgery, he wrote me a prescription, an urgent referral to a oral specialist (which required anesthetic surgery) and charged me nothing. That shocked me as the work, effort and resources I used was immense. The professionalism, hospitality, pricing and integrity that Taunton Village Dental shows, and especially Dr.Hidayat, is second to none. I will be using them from here on out and highly recommend them to anyone looking to get dental work done!

I got a root canal done on a front tooth and some other deep/challenging fillings by Dr. Park. For the most part I didn't feel a thing (other than the freezing injections) and I like the way everything looks. They also gave me a discount because my benefits haven't kicked in yet. I also learned that I grind my teeth in my sleep, which no dentist has ever told me before. Perhaps these other dentists wanted to keep cashing in, but who can say for certain. I will be coming back here as long as my fillings hold up well, so time will tell. So far a good experience.

I got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and I was absolutely horrified walking in for my appointment. They made me feel so comfortable and they continuously asked how I was doing through the entire procedure. That made me relax quite a bit more knowing they wanted to make sure I wasn’t having a bad experience. I won’t go to another dental office and if you’re looking for a new office, I highly recommend this location because the staff are amazing and make sure that you are 100% comfortable & they explain everything in detail so you’re not left in the dark! I was there today for my first official appointment.. being that the 1st annual free cleaning event in 2017 didn't count. So anyway although there was a schedule constraint, and only half my mouth was cleaned, as well as my first time assessment with the xray, pictures, etc it was still a great experience with the very friendly service from the front counter, to my hygienist and finally the dentist himself. The prices are also very affordable especially with my insurance benefits. I would highly recommend them if you need a nice smile maintained, let alone healthy teeth!

I can't explain how happy I am that I found Taunton Village Dental, I have had a fear of dentists since I was a little kid and the staff and dentists here truly make the experience easy and eased my anxiety! I had to come in for an emergency exam as I was having terrible pain, they were so professional and kind and got me in right away. They explained everything and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I can't say enough to explain how amazing the team is there! They are so welcoming and patient with clients. We are routinly going to the dental office for our cleaning every 6 months at One of the Dental Office in Scarborough,Ontario. So we don't have bad teeth at all and We do all cleaning at our routine. Recently on December/06/2021, My wife has visted to Taunton Village Dental which is Located at Taunton Rd and Wilson Rd. We have been told over the phone that It would be only $99 fee to do quick dental cleaning.However, when we have gone to the appointment on the same day, My wife have been advised that She need to do Brace, she need to do Feeling between the gaps(Which has never been advised by my previous Dentist). once cleaning services complted by Hygenist at the Taunton Village Dental office. I have received the bill of $410.00 there fore I will have to pay differance as out of pocekt expenses. Followings are the Fees Breakdown Complete Exam, Permanent 6/DEC/2021 $148.00 02601 Panoramic Film 6/DEC/2021 $69.00 02144 Bitewings 4 Films 6/DEC/2021 $51.00 11112 Scaling - 2 U 6/DEC/2021 $116.00 11107 Polishing 6/DEC/2021 $26.00 BENEFIT AMOUNT IS PAYABLE TO: Dentist TOTAL SUBMITTED: $410.00 Now they have not even asked for X-rays, So no courtacy because we have been covered by Health & Dental plans thorugh Manulife. I hope that Our communities have learned, How this dental office has been operated their business. I would like to do informed to the our communities that this type of incedents are very common this days, However It cost us back Higher Insurance premium upon renewal. In-addition they do take pride on what they do to us by doing ripped off to family like mine. Definatly not returning this dental office, So I have had canceled both kids appointment from them already. Beware.. Beware ... Beware !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know because of covid-19 we need to take more precautions and sterilize in between clients which can be time consuming ect.... however I had an appt booked on the hour, didn’t get into my chair until 20 after, then while the dentist and hygienist were working on my teeth, at one point I had 4 other people in the room with me.... HOW is that safe for me??? I am the one sitting in the chair unmasked and I have a bunch of staff popping in and out of my room throughout my whole appointment. Extremely disappointed. Will be ensuring I go for a covid test following my appt there. Also, sanitization of non dental instruments is done with a Lysol wipe (I’m sorry, but WHAT, can we not put a little more effort in there?) very disappointed with the lack of organization, When I arrived for my appt the note on the door says to call reception before entering, I call reception and get a voicemail? So I ended up just walking in. Terrible terrible set up.

You don't feel like they are rushing the job they take there time to get it right the first time and explain everything to you before and explain how it went after. one thing i will say is make sure you have good coverage but if you want something done right this is the place!!!

I was looking for a dental office in Oshawa as we recently relocated to the area. I googled and look first at the reviews of previous/current clients to guide my decision. I went for my initial visit at Taunton Village Dental and immediately felt at home. The reception staff were friendly and professional and it felt like it was not my first time there. The cleaning was a really good experience and I normally do not like going to the dentist. Shanice was amazing and made me laugh in order to get me to relax. I do value a cozy atmosphere and that I did get. The staff were all professional and I love the hours they are open. You will not make a mistake by chosing Taunton Dental, it will feel like coming home!

Absolutely amazing experience. I went here for an emergency appointment for my son because our family dentist was not available. The care we recieved at Taunton village dental was so amazing that my family will be lifelong patients here. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Absolutely no respect for any person who does not have dental insurance! First, they provided a procedure that was costly and unneeded. (I've had a second opinion)The procedure was botched so another procedure was needed. I had to fight to get it done for free because it shouldn't have been a problem in the first place! They non-stop call me for cleanings and they make it sound like they are doing ME a favour for making it cheaper, but it is the regular price that is written all over their windows and signage.???? Why do they have to lie? They have absolutely no communication amongst the staff. They make verbal promises that are conveniently forgotten about later or twisted around as if they did not say it. I recommend patients get written proof of what they tell you written on their letterhead and signed. Health care should not be a place where games like that are being played! This place is a joke! What a horrible experience! Deserves less than one star.????

In my opinion there is way too many people inside here at one time! There were 7 people in a small waiting area last night plus two receptionists and other staff walking through almost constantly. I didn't see any cleaning of the common areas and no one manning the door to control how many people were in and out, cleaning the handle etc. The staff was nice but neglected to say on the phone when I booked and they had my file open they no longer accept ODSP coverage so it was a total waste of my time... I got antibiotics but a pain killer that they gave me wasn't covered by ODSP so I ended up paying out of pocket for pain killers... Needed a tooth pulled but ended up not having it done and being physically ill all night. I never recieved any instructions on what to do if I got sick, swelling etc. They referred me to Glazier medical center instead, I went somewhere closer to home.

Friendly and courteous staff, they explain what they are doing very well and are clear about everything. They work well to accommodate your schedule and when my son knocked a tooth out they checked him out without charging us to make sure he was OK. Had no issue the first time getting a cleaning and an extraction. I came in for a another cleaning and they refused because they need approval from my doctor to continue with my cleaning without medication (which I haven't needed for 10 years). The problem is my doctor is retired and I have not been able to find a new doctor. This was no issue when they did my extraction and cleaning the first time. Absolute waste of a morning. Definitely won't be coming back here since I have no way of getting their form signed by my doctor who is retired.

July 3rd 2018 was the one year anniversary of when I lost my two upper left side teeth along with a fractured forearm due to a careless male driver in Oshawa. Those missing teeth were replaced with implants on Tuesday by Dr Abid and I'm very thankful for this remarkable service.

When I was put at ease, I casually mentioned I'd been considering getting my super fragile (and chipped teeth) fixed up, and after 3 different dentists providing quotes over the past 5 years... I pulled the trigger with Dr Nick and his team. I had 6 crowns and teeth whitening. My entire smile has changed. My teeth are stronger, and my anxiety was put at ease immediately. Horrible incompetence, they canceled my surgery to have my wisdom teeth removed 2 hours before my surgery!!!!! Not a single apology or regard for the fact I made arrangements and booked off work for this surgery or the pain I’m in. Left to find a new dentist cause the only dentist capable of doing the surgery took off for vacation for a month and no one cared to tell me. Never going back .

A while back I received a call saying that I was due for a cleaning. I booked an appointment and prepared for the dentist visit (I hate the dentist) only AFTER I arrived and AFTER I was sitting in the dentist chair was I told that I only had 1 unit on cleaning coverage left and that if I wanted all my teeth cleaned I would have to pay the rest. Bad business practice.Got up and left, won't go back.

I took my daughter here this week for 2 extractions after she had her braces put on. originally, our family dentist was going to do it. 2 days before my scheduled appointment, the "family dentist" decided she didn't want to do the extractions. I went back and forth with them and gave up. because of that my daughter suffered serious anxiety over the extraction. she is already nervous aboit needles and this made it 100x worse. Dr. Park came to the rescue with a same day appt. I couldn't believe it this is a great office. my entire family has switched over to them they make us feel 100% comfortable and they offer all the services I expect a dentist to offer.

During these trying times, they were patient with their explanation of all procedures. The office and rooms are all very clean and well kept. I had an appointment for 6am. I was there at 545am. I could see one employee at the desk through the window. The door was locked with a number to call to come in.....I called that number and two different office numbers from 545am to 630am getting no answer and also no voicemail. There are no other cars in the parking lot besides mine sitting there at the front doors running for 45 minutes. One employee even showing up while I'm sitting there lol. Everytime I call I can see the employees look over at me, but not answer the phone. For added insult, this is after driving there in a snowstorm this morning. Unprofessional would be an understatement. Update..7am and they still won't even answer the phone.

This is the worst dental clinic I've experienced ever. The front desk staff are so rude and the hygienists are unprofessional and have no sense of privacy whatsoever. Two of the hygienist came up to me in front of other people sitting in the waiting room to discuss patient private and sensitive info. I would never recommend this place unless they have a proper management and have some sense of professionalism and patient confidentiality!! I also requested to have a bill mailed out to me, but instead of that one of their staff called me yelling at me on the phone as if she speaks to a 5 year old child, additionally I have never received the bill until the present moment. Even one star is too much for them! I greatly regret not reading the honest reviews below prior to taking my son there. The only thing matters to them is to use up all the insurance coverage for bad job!

Owner of the dental clinic called me after looking at my review. It took four months & asked what happened. Owner was truly Canadian “Said sorry for his team, got a refund of half the amount which I paid from my pocket plus give me a free clean up for next time. I walked in to pick up cheque & then manager said sorry as well & asked if they can get a second chance and explained why this happend, she stated “Dr. was new and wasn’t sure how to fill up the paperwork”. I moved from Oshawa to Toronto & I have been on hunt to find a new dentist, no one is able to match the level of Taunton. I go to them from Toronto. Excellent customer retention. My Old review: OMG, they are expensive, Just a heads up before you go in there. I told them before my procedure that my insurance would cover 2000 but they still went on complete the surgery and they billed me f*** more than 2000. Not going back there again

This dentist office is new, and seems like they are trying to squeeze every dollar out of your insurance company at your teeth's expense. Came to this dentist because of its high reviews, do not make the same mistake! It wasn't a very good cleaning but that wasn't the major issue. The dentist was very aggressive and hurt my mouth, charged my insurance company triple the advertised price for a cleaning (and lied about it), and told me I absolutely needed 8 fillings! I questioned the dentist about needing 8 and if it was necessary. He informed me that they were all HUGE problem areas a NEEDED to be filled. When I went back to my old dentist, they informed me that I only needed one filling and even that one area wasn't a major issue. Clearly trying to get the most amount of money out of the few customers they have. I feel bad for leaving such a bad review, but there were just to many red flags with this dental office and felt new customers should know.

Amazing experience. Haven't been to the dentist in years, just got benefits so I decided to get checked out. I called at 9am on a Saturday, and they had me in for an appointment with Dr. Park 2 hours later! I came in, had my wisdom teeth and a bad mollar looked at. After concluding all four wisdom teeth and the bad mollar had to be pulled, an appointment was booked and they gave me a good cleaning while I was there. The cleaning was amazing, didn't hurt at all and my mouth felt amazing after. 1 week later I just got all four wisdom teeth pulled along with the bad mollar, all of which I was awake for. Dr. Park completed the procedure in under 2 hours, totally pain free. I cannot thank them enough for the work they've already done, and I would recommend to anybody. Also, they bill direct to all insurance which is great.

I have been to this office before and have given a better review. This review is specifically for my last visit which was for an tooth extraction. I am a nervous patient and despite informing the dentist of this several times and " putting my hand up to request that he stop" and asking for more nitrous (laughing gas) - my wishes were ignored and he went right in yanking at the tooth - causing me pain and anguish. I will not allow myself to be booked with that Dentist again. ????

My family and I (fiance, son and myself) visited this office last week. I wanted to get us a new family dentist as we had recently moved. I could not have been more happy with trying out this office. both my son and I are very nervous and anxious at the dentist and for the first time in roughly 15 years, I could sit and relax while in the chair. The staff made us feel SO welcome. They explained everything in detail before they did it and only worked when they knew I was ready. My son had to get 2 fillings and I will be honest, I was terrified for him as I knew he wouldn't take it well. To make a long story shot, he fell asleep in the chair with his cool glasses on!They billed our insurance directly which makes our lives a million times easier and they were great with they reminder calls. My surprise to my fiance (his wedding present)is a new smile!! Thanks to Taunton Village Dental, he will now get his new smile in time for our wedding!!!!

Even despite their new reality with the covid precautions and PPE that's required, the staff there are so so friendly. Like this is the starbucks of dental clinics in terms of customer service. The staff at the desk are so friendly, saying have a great weekend and we hope to see you soon! You just dont see that anymore in any health or dental clinic. My dental hygienist asked me what kind of music I would like to listen to on spotify!! She was a ray of sunshine in spirit despite the full PPE they have to wear! It must be a tough job! And lastly the dentist that was there was super personable and soo friendly!! And to top it all off it is actually affordable dental services with their $99 cleaning/exam package. I made an appointment with weeks advance and informed the reception staff about my dental anxiety. On the day of the appointment i became too nervous and cancelled it. I called back and asked if theres anything that they could do for me to accommodate my anxiety and they assured me it would be anxiety free so I decided to go. When arriving to the office everything looks very nice and the staff seem nice. Once i got into the dental chair the hygienist was asking me questions about my medications that should only be asked by an MD. He then proceeded to try to put a blood pressure cuff around my arm which he says is mandatory (i have never done this at any dental office ever). I had an awful, unprofessional anxiety provoking experience at any dental office before. Will never ever reccomend to someone who gets nervous at the dentist. Also when trying to explain yourself to the reception staff they try to bring you in a segregated room which is very intense for people with serious aanxiety issues. Do not go to this office

This place is professional, clean, impeccably furnished, with unparalleled hours of operation but all those great things are not why I rate 5 stars. As someone who hates 'the dentist' and had never before had a positive experience while in the chair, Taunton Village Dental completely blew me away. And I give this rating after only one operation - a greatly required ROOT CANAL, where the dentist worked with me to offer reasonable rates and payment accommodation (as I currently have no insurance), as well as making sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure. If all that wasn't enough to convince you that this dentist is the greatest - I went back this morning, 2 weeks after my root canal, due to concern over persistent pain in the area of the affected tooth. Not only did they give me a next day appointment which didn't interfere with my work schedule for this visit, but a different dentist tended to me with equal professionalism and care, assuaged my concerns, and I wasn't even charged for this (admittedly short) visit. Could not recommend them enough.

I've been to Taunton Village Dental three times, two of which were for root canals, the third for a cleaning. The staff is top-notch and they go out of their way to remind you of your appointments which is a blessing when you're scatterbrained as I am. I was seen by Dr. Zhao who was extremely good with his communication and extremely steady with his hand, along with very clear and concise explanation of what was happening and what could be done. It came in handy when a tool broke during the second root canal, which he had explained could happen, and the extraction of the tooth was incredibly painless. The most recent visit was for a cleaning. Despite me avoiding the freezing ( I just hate the feeling to be honest ), the hygienist, Christine, was incredibly talented and caused little to no pain. Again, another friendly and very communicative staff member who was more than willing to talk and help me relax until I was ready. I would highly suggest anyone looking to have work done take a peek inside. Skilled hands and wonderful people all around.

I took advantage of their low cleaning rate before I had benefits and now that I do they submit the claim for me right away so I’m not out of pocket. The office is clean and bright, and the new renovations looks great. And they have tons of appointments and they’re open late until 10pm and on weekends so it’s really easy to find a time that works.

I was having inconsistent pain and sensitivity that required my wisdom tooth to be extracted ASAP. My regular dentist did not have any availability so I was forced to find an alternative to do this emergency extraction. I found Taunton Dental by a google search and am I ever happy I did. From the moment I came in everyone was so friendly and understanding. As I was over my insurance coverage I had to pay for the procedure out of pocket and was given a very nice discount on account of that. My regular dentist would have NEVER done that. As for the procedure itself... pretty much pain free and no real concerns. I like many others have anxiety and both the dentist and dental technician were absolutely awesome throughout. Needless to say I now have a new dentist! Try them you will not regret it!

I am incredibly unhappy with the service provided by Taunton Village Dental. Not a single concern that I had going in (limited funds, sore teeth, needed a cleaning) was listened to or respected by the hygienist. She very pleasant and friendly but did not respect my time, was very pushy, and expected me to be made of money. Although I was alloted 30 minutes for a cleaning, less than 15 minutes was actually spent cleaning my teeth. I explained multiple times that I had borrowed money to have my teeth cleaned and that I did not have any dental insurance, yet I only had 4 of my teeth cleaned. When I am paying for 30 minutes of cleaning, I expect to actually get my teeth cleaned.

Absolutely adore this place after my first visit! I've always disliked going to the dentist ???? but not anymore. I came in with a very bad set of teeth, rotten wisdoms and some other issues. They did a full assessment and fillings same day and set up a schedule plan to have me back to a great smile in no time. I left Taunton Village sending so many photos to family and friends of the amazing work they did with the front set of my teeth, I almost left in tears. The staff were also AMAZING, some of the best customer service and friendly faces I've ever experienced. I wish I could remember her name but the women doing my fillings did this super cool technique to distract me from feeling the pain of the numbing needle, that for the first time I laughed after feeling no pain whatsoever! I could see this being so amazing with kids too. (Direct billing is pretty great too.) Thanks so much Taunton Village and staff! I look forward to making you my permanent new dental office.

I had such a positive experience today that I feel compelled to comment.Today I had an appointment at Taunton Village Dental at 230pm for a check up, xrays and cleaning. I arrived at 228pm, was treated courteously and professionally by the reception staff. I waited for no more than 2 minutes before being greated by Katie, my hygienist, who I had never met previously.I could not have been more impressed with her pleasant demeanor, positive attitude and overall professionalism. She did an exceptional job throughout my appointment. TVD you are fortunate to have such an amazing representative of your business. While I have seen some negative reviews of TVD, I can tell you that I am surprised. I have been attending here for a couple of years now, have had some significant dental issues and some issues with my insurance coverage. In every circumstance I have been treated fairly, professionally, respectfully and with customer service clearly a priority for them. I would highly recommend Taunton Village Dental.

Horrible experience with this dental office. It’s seems like they have to much going on and making serval mistakes with appointments. Today I took my 3 kids to their appointment which they sent me a text message saying a time but when I got there they told me it’s not there and I would need to come back. No consideration to figure out if they can do something for me. Both ladies at the desk had no explanation why the appointment was not there. I transferred from small a dental office to this office because of the number of reviews of people saying it was great office. I never had these issues with the smaller office. It shows the bigger the office gets the worst the service gets and they choose not to be accommodating.

I recently had my denture done at this place. I got 3 different printed quotes for the same type of denture, given at different dates. After my Insurance allowance a particular price was agreed upon. On the day of the impression, I was told to sign a form on a tablet at much higher figure, which I refused, as I had the printed amount. Eventually, my denture was done but I have a strong feeling , that the quality is heavily compromised, In other word, cheapest material used, to compensate their extra amount.My Insurance is charged $ 700, I paid $ 200 from my pocket and got a piece of cheap plastic ,painful,odd shape. Went here on tuesday March 10 to have my permanent wire reattached, Which they had just attached in November 2019. On Tuesday March 10th a dentist reattached it, only to have the hygienist break it off during my cleaning. The next dentist (because the first had gone home) said it doesn’t fit and will have to make a new one. Friday March 13 I returned to have the new wire attached. 476$ later its now Monday march 16 and it’s broke off again, they are now closed with no response and I’m left with pressure on 4 of my front teeth, not amazing

My situation was an emergency situation and other places I phoned wanted to book a consultation, then another appointment to return for the work needed. I needed a meet and fix appointment, not just a meet and greet appointment, this office got me in right away and I arrived with great anxiety, I’ve always been very anxious at a dental appointment. Dr Park not only fixed my problem, he also helped reduce my anxiety level with his explanations and the options we could go with to achieve the benefit of my emergency being solved. Dr Park was so kind and calming. He took the time to answer my questions and he was able to help me right away. The girl who worked along side him, was just as kind and wonderful in her assistance. I wish I could remember her name, so I could thank her in this review! I will only return to this dental office for the care needed. This office goes above and beyond for their kindness and professionalism! I highly recommend this dental office! Thank you Dr Park for fixing my emergency!

I needed quite a bit of work, including a root canal, several fillings, and an extensive cleaning, all of which took a number of visits. Dr. Abid and Auberley were absolutely amazing! I could not have been in better hands. Anyone out there who shares my feelings about going to the dentist - this is the place for you. I would recommend this practise with no hesitation.

The second I walked in I was greeted by the staff, the one to get me checked in was still training and did an absolutely great job, My dentist did an incredible job making sure if was comfortable. If she did something that hurt she stopped right away to make sure I was ok which I highly appreciated. They honoured their free consultation and X-rays, and The assistant Megan was very welcoming and helped me calm my nerves. Honestly I haven't been so impressed with a dentist office until today. I was looking for a new dentist after moving to the area. Everything was going well, until I was told I have FIVE cavities, and two of them were “from fillings falling out”.... well red flags, because I’ve never had a single cavity, so how could fillings fall out? He then tried to back track and say that it was actually sealant that cracked. I thought this was super fishy, so I had a consultation with my old dentist back in my hometown, who I had been seeing my whole life. He confirmed there was not a single cavity, and my sealant was still perfectly intact. For someone who didn’t have benefits at the time, that could have been a huge financial expense. Total scam.

I originally had a 5 star review after my first visit which was 9 months ago . Well I've been back and so has my family several times. You will wait 15-35 minutes for your appointment. My 3 year olds appointment was 35 minutes behind recently. Lucky kids have patience ( insert eye roll). The only reason I had kept going here after waiting every time was because of the convenience of the location. Their system was not calculating how much $ from my benefits was left property and I was stuck paying for something I really didn't care to get. The staff are friendly and the place is clean.

False, misleading advertising, poor management. Received a flyer in the mail offering "Cleaning and Polishing" $99.00. Made an appt with hygienist for 12:20. After I arrived, front desk clerk informed me that, without speaking with me, they had arbitrarily switched me to a different hygienist. They then gave me an electronic questionnaire to complete. Last sentence on questionnaire asks if they can send me emails. I do not want emails from them so I did not sign. They tried to tell me I had to sign.....that my signature really means that the medical info I provided is correct. They failed to see how this was misleading. I ended up signing a corrected paper document. At 1:00 pm I finally was shown into a cubicle and met the hygienist. Without looking in my mouth she informed me that she would only provide 30 minutes to clean my teeth. I doubt I needed more but this limitation was not mentioned in their ad or when I booked my appointment. It became clear that this was a "Bait and Switch" tactic to mislead new clients. I spoke to the Manager and left. You must be able to trust the people providing your dental care. I do not recommend Taunton Village Dental. P.S. The outside of the prefab building looks unfinished. Staff take up most of the parking spaces near the entrance forcing clients to park in the back. Follow-up to owner's reply. I did not misunderstand anything. My visit happened as I described. I asked your staff to destroy my medical info as I would not be using your service. Nothing unusual about that. All delays were caused by your staff that were unable to answer basic questions. Your advertising flyer does not mention how the services you are advertising are limited. Customers need to be advised up front - not after they get in the dental hygienist chair. You were not there, I was......I see from other reviews on this site that I am not the only reviewer pointing out your priority seems to be $$$$ not providing quality dental services. You have a great day!

I am a person who reads reviews with any medical aspects. So my review is lengthy but in hopes it will help someone like me feel a bit better. I am young, children and a mature University student, so you can imagine the limited budget I have. I have very bad anxiety and the staff worked very well with me. I've had a horrible experience with another hygienist that made me not want to go back again despite my kids having a different hygienist there and is amazing - Dr.Hasso However; I met with the in house surgeon about a year ago with an emergency extraction who took such care with me that when I knew I needed some work done I would only go back to him. The prices to get what I wanted and needed were unreasonable (to me) and limited budget was not possible. I wish payment plans were offered to help low income people that is not thousands at a time. So I have spent over a year in pain until I couldn't take it anymore. When making an emergency appointment I met with a different financial planner and different surgeon who I couldn't rave more about. They were amazing from start to finish. Dr.Taimish is well skilled, efficient and his staff didn't make me feel bad about the uncontrollable condition of my teeth. I had some teeth pulled with anesthesia. The nurse, surgeon, and even the financial planner all made me comfortable as much as possible. I have some serious work to be done and I will be going back without question and know I will be taken care of.

I’ve been treated kindly each time, my dental hygienist Krista is awesome and very very professional and kind. Dr. Simac was very professional and kind also. I let him know that I didn’t want to see the needle beforehand and he was totally understanding and just let me know when to close my eyes. Took four visits with three dentists there to address severe tooth pain a few months ago. They would not do everything they could right away even though I had terrible pain and it took over a month to resolve (needed a root canal). Now, a 10+ year old filling on my front tooth has fallen out so I had it redone there, only to have their filling fall out after 5 days! Went back to have it redone and the replacement filling lasted 4 days. Very disappointed- poor quality service with highly questionable troubleshooting skills.

I was not able to get in to see my regular dentist because they close early on Thursday and are not open Fridays so I had to find a dentist the same day for a job interview the following week.Taunton Village took my appointment the next day,yup that's right a Saturday.The hours of operation is very flexible no more missing work for a teeth cleaning.The staff are very professional.And handled me as a new patient in that way.Thumbs up all the way. My daughter had a wiggly tooth that was painful we called Taunton Village Dental and they where able to see her the same day. This is a great dental office! Everyone who works there are very kind and efficient. I just saw Dr. Hidayat today and I feel like he deserves recognition. This was my fourth time as his patient and every time I see him I’m always impressed with how communicative he is throughout the visit. He always tells me what the next step is and is aware of when I’m getting antsy and always makes sure I am comfortable. I’ve spoken to him about cosmetic dental procedures and he definitely seems up to date. I’ve moved around a lot and have seen 20+ dentists in my life and Dr. Hidayat is the best. Also, want to recognize Mayrella who assists Dr. Hidayat and they work really well together and make the dentist chair “fun” (as fun as a dentist chair can be).

Stay away from this place, they completely miss the mark when it comes to professionalism. You have been warned. I was scheduled almost 2 months in advance for removal of my wisdom teeth. All arrangements were in place on my end, had a care giver booked, meal prepped for my hubby, took time off work, even went by the office a couple weeks before to update my insurance info..... you get the idea, I was ready to have my teeth removed. Only to receive a call about ONE hour before my appointment stating the dr. advised he is canceling my appointment! As he said it was too difficult a job.ONE hour before! So unprofessional. If I was informed beforehand, I could have made alternative arrangements with another office, but without being informed I would have to begin the process all over again. Clearly they don’t value people’s time. I have yet to receive a call back from management with a formal apology or compensation.

They charged me for an emergency visit even though it was a booked appointment. I saw the charge after i got home, they also charged me $99 for cleaning but after waiting for a long time i was told it was only for 30 minutes. When i complained they offered a re-visit to finish the cleaning since they never mentioned the time limit in the first visit. They gave me an appointment, i was on time, they put me in the room to wait and the hygienist found 5 different excuses to leave the room and pretend she was busy elsewhere. So second appointment really lasted only 15 minutes. I will never visit them again even though they keep spamming me with emails with some bogus offers. Really shady business tactics.

I've had my root canal cost a lot of money ever since I went there got a root canal done!!! My jaw has been in pain ever since I don't know what they done but I am done with this place I'll never go back due to the circumstances I have a message I'm just speaking the truth because I've been put through this....

Did not have a good experience. I arrived 25 mins early because the person who dropped me off had to be somewhere else. Apparently youre not allowed to wait in the waiting room, so I was asked to come back in 25 mins at my appt time. Obviously not their fault, probably a covid rule but If i had known that ahead of time, i would have made other plans to get there closer to my appt time so I wouldnt of had to go stand in the parking lot. The lady who did my teeth cleaning was extremely confusing when trying to explain my options for pricing/insurance. It was still under construction as well, since i had been there last year, so it was incredibly noisy and busy and since we all have to wear masks, it made it that much harder to understand her. At one point she wasnt even sure if she'd be able to finish my cleaning that day for some reason. Not sure why, if i was specifically booked in for one, you'd think there would be a set time alloted to complete it THAT DAY. I have never in my life had a cleaning that the dentist couldn't complete the day they booked me in for one. It's not a filling or a root canal or anything complicated, its a simple cleaning. When the dentist finally came in for my exam, he was calling out codes to the assistant that she seemed confused by and he as well. Whatever code system she knew, he was not aware of and kept having to point out which teeth he was talking about. Who knows if they ended up pointing out the correct teeth that need fillings. Neither seemed to put any heart into what they were doing and the whole thing felt very rushed. Don't think I'll be going back.

Like some I have had terrible experiences and only go when I’m in pain or realize I have a big problem. Well, I did have a big problem... I was told I needed a good cleaning, a tooth extracted and some cracked fillings repaired. YIKES!!! So I prepared for the worst... But got the best!!! NO PAIN! I called them on a Friday at 9P.M not expecting an answer, but to my surprise, they were open! Score! I and had an emergency appointment booked for 3PM the very next day. They did exactly what I came in for, and extracted my tooth as quickly and carefully as possible. The dentist made sure I was aware of everything he was about to do, and made me feel very comfortable in his care. They accept benefits, and I walked out of there a very happy lady. Now that the numbing is worn off, I can't even tell that they ripped anything out, best care I've received in a very long time. I'm actually excited to go back knowing they've checked all my boxes!

The hygienist Jay confirmed as well as front desk receptionist confirmed $99 before I went in for the cleaning. Further, they didn't even complete full mouth cleaning or x-rays or dentist checkup as they claim in the website to be part of $99. But when I called back regarding the wrong charge, a lady named Cassandra says for people with insurance its $177! And she won't get me through to the manager either. This is most fraudulent dental clinic I have ever had unfortunate experience of! They should really try begging instead of stealing people's hard earned money. Such a shame that such devils exist in the form of humans and can go to any extent for money.

I had a wonderful experience there today. My hygenist Katie was absolutely wonderful she was kind and thorough. I dont have dental coverage so no place could beat their 99 dollar cleaning! $99 for 30 minutes of cleaning xrays and seeing the dentist. Unbeatable price and wonderful staff. Honestly one of the besr experiences at a dentist. The waiting room is very nice with fresh flowers and comfy chairs. They offer coffee and water. The procedure chairs are also comfy and everything is very clean. Overall wonder ful experience. I also enjoyed that they printed out my treatment plan Highly recommended

Although I was not a patient of theirs (I am now!), when I called they agreed to treat me immediately. Dr. Choi took immediate care of my emergency (requiring a tooth extraction). Stay away. They spend on real estate and gadgets to make your experience digital and fast. They are pleasantly friendly and borderline professionals. My wife had pain in her tooth and we walked in and were asked for an X-ray and the professionalism ends there. They told us they will call us with referral to the hospital so we waited 2 days when we waited and called back the receptionist and she said she will call us back and let us know. She didn’t call back and I did on day 5. I said if I made mistake (According to your policy) why didn’t you give me the referral papers 5 days ago and if you think I forgot couldn’t you have called and let me know that you have to collect papers. The trained receptionist told me using her hand to point towards untrained receptionist to talk to her. This was on Sunday Feb 16th in case the clinic genuinely “care” and want to do something about it. The trained receptionist failed in training the untrained staff and the clinic failed in fulfilling their duty. I paid $200 for X-ray and waiting 5 days to find out it’s my job to get an appointment via referral? I rest my case here.

These individuals treated me with the utmost respect as soon as I walked through their doors. I believe between the service and the hospitality this dentist office exceeds and surpass customer service. Please do your self a favour and let these people take care of your needs.

First times I visit were good, but it seems that if you have benefits they try to bilk them for all they are worth. $47 charge for an "explanation of oral hygiene" (which in my case covered them saying "No concerns here, keep doing what you're doing" - when it wasn't approved they removed the charge, but further explained that they always try to push it through if a provider will cover it. Try to send dentist in even when you're only there for a cleaning (this has happened the last two visits). People with benefits should be wary about using this dental provider.

I was there to get my wisdom teeth removed. Suction was not done properly during surgery. everything water and blood wend down to my throat and I was trying not to swallow and it induced vomit. Assistant was so rude in last conversation as I ask for few more cotton pads to put between teeth. Years of going there to treatment and after spending thousands dollar there I didn’t even get proper service and was treated as gross/disgusted by attendant. On other side attending doctor and receptionist were really amazing and helpful. I would prefer not to use their services.

They were the only ones who would look at my teeth for me without charging me hundreds of dollars for a consultation, theirs was free!!! Then when it came to my double Root Canal, Dr Hidayat did everything he could to make me feel comfortable and was very understanding and patient when it came to how scared I was, especially because I've had nothing but horrible experiences in the past with dentists. Told me false information resulting in complications, nor did they provide adequate tools for aftercare. Even tried to tell me i didn't have an infected dry socket when i went in to an emergency dentist AND the ER who both said I had it after excruciating pain and swelling the size of a golf ball, and the dentists here told me to stop taking my antibiotics. Seriously? overall just condescending dentists who flat out don't listen and talk over you even when you're trying to explain your experiences with pain or something! unhygenic since there are FLIES EVERYWHERE! I have been left with a botched surgery in the quality of removal which i am still healing from a month later. I regret not going to an actual oral surgeon for my wisdom tooth removal (general dentist for impacted wisdom teeth removal ? what a poor decision on my part... but i wouldn't have made it or others had i not been so misinformed time and time again at this office). they only removed 3 of my teeth despite having me scheduled to have all 4 removed just because i was 12 minutes late. left me looking horrible with an uneven face. as if i haven't waited FAR OVER 12 minutes for them. ridiculous and extremely poor quality. the dentist even was talking to his coworker as the surgery was occurring about how "hard" it is to do stitches. like are you kidding me? you shouldn't be preforming such a surgery if its hard. it was terrifying dealing with the infected dry socket as it was left undiagnosed for so long that i feared bone infection or sepsis. guess they pick and choose who they treat with respect. If I can i will gladly reply to whatever nonsense you try to send my way in regards to this. :) god bless!

I have always had a phobia about going to the dentist! I would highly recommend Taunton Village Dentist. I had hygiene appointment with Katie on Monday and today I had a filling done by Dr. Park. They both did a great job. I had been going to a dentist in Pickering for the past 35 years but since moving to Oshawa it was just too far to travel. I wish I had gone to Taunton Village Dental sooner.

This dental office is absolutely amazing!! I was having a difficult procedure (root canal) after 5 days of excruciating pain and Dr. Nik made sure I was as relaxed as possible. He helped me with my breathing during the procedure, checked to make sure I was comfortable at all times throughout and discussed treatment options beforehand. A very compassionate dentist indeed! It was an emergency and they got me in within 2 hrs. I will definitely be using them as my regular dental practitioners moving forward!! Thank you to all staff!!!

This is by far the best dentist in oshawa or even durham region. They work with their patients, the $99 cleaning is so worth the money. You get full mouth xrays and a free consultation, and for anyone that has multiple problems with their teeth this is great. The dentist will look at all the issues and tell you what can wait and what should be dealt with right away, and for someone like myself on a set income with no insurance, this is essential. I needed a place that would pull a tooth and accept a payment plan and literally called every dentist in the oshawa/whitby area, Taunton village dental was the only one willing to work with me, and the dentist i saw, i believe his name was Dr. Park, was kind and understanding and was open and honest about the process and what are the most important issue to deal with first and what can wait, I am and will continue to highly recommend Taunton Village Dental to anyone who is looking for a good reliable dentist.
