I had a cleaning appointment and was hesitant due to Covid but would honestly recommend Dr. Gold's Source Dental! The treatment room doorways are sealed with zipped entrances and have air purifiers inside. Dental hygienists wear proper PPE. I was one of 2 people in the waiting room. Great experience!

I really use to love coming to this office, Mr gold is always respectful and generous with his time, but recently the office staff have been lackluster with communication, call last minute to cancel a booking that was already pushed months and months before, and their reasoning is their hygienist quit two weeks ago, so you knew two weeks ago and you call me the day before, real professional ????

If I could give zero stars I would last time I went dr gold did not freeze my mouth and then decided he was going to I left and my face was so swollen I couldn't even talk for 3 days I ended up missing an appt in may and 8 just called to make an apt since my teeth are falling out and they tell me because I missed my one apt I am not able to make apt there anymore.

Dr Gold is very knowledgeable as is his team. They give you a lot of helpful feedback and information a lot of other dentists would just glaze over. I have been going to Dr. Gold's Source Dental for over 15yrs. Unfortunately, September 2021 would be my last visit due to the unprofessional and petty behavior of Melissa who is one of the Admin Assistants. Ongoing workshops and employee training is key for the longevity of business, especially for those entitled long-term staff who need some polishing in regards to handling clientele. I mistakenly confused a 4:20pm appointment and arrived at 4:30pm which I humbly apologized for as that was my error. I have been to appointments in the past where I was still in the waiting area come my appointment time. Upon arrival the dental hygienist and Melissa were reluctant to accommodate me as I stated I no longer live locally, this was upsetting to say the least. I am not one to fuss and quarrel in an open business area, I said thank you and left the establishment. Afterwards, I called to express the situation could have been handled differently as Melissa did call me before I was on site. At that point she could tell me my time had passed and they were no longer able to take me. Melissa proceeded to aggressively speak over me as the client. As a frontline worker Melissa should be ashamed of her behavior to bring forth such attitude as it weakens team morale in the workplace. Melissa, please humble yourself. "Don't bite the hand that feeds you".

Calm, clean, professionals, and even entertaining while services are provided or waited for. The appointment was prompt, focused, earthy genuine, and very respectful. I don't believe that income would matter on fair treatment offered by this dentist or employees. They explained in any details required, what I could do for my improving dental health, with charm, and knowledge. State of the Art equipment, modernity in the visually appealing decor, gives you the impression that you're in good care. I had stains on my teeth that were removed by the hygenist like a master that could train. Gentle, my mouth is not sore today, and I'm smiling more, yes, on the second day!

As like most people fear of dentists needles. Well I must say they have been amazingly awesome. With the service they give. Was in for a cleaning that was great. Before they started I said I have some cavities like to get fixed if possible. I knew I had a few . Wow they are fixed and feel great. Cavities will not pass they get worse. A Needle is only a couple seconds then the good Adventure begins of fixing . Before you know it you are happy and finished. So I look forward to coming back . Thank you so much Bastian Van Beek

i had to go through multiple people just to set up an appointment again, since they removed me as a patient when i missed an appointment due to having to care for my mother. after being put through again, i had a check up and they told me i need my wisdom teeth removed. on the day of that appointment, about an hour until i would be going in, they called and cancelled it. they switched the date and when i arrived, they told me they couldn't do it due to my heart problems when i had ALREADY listed them the first time i was there. I arrived and wasted my time since they didn't check over the first list correctly. some of the women at the desk are rude, Dr. Gold himself is a nice man, but he needs WAY better workers and he needs to control the work place a lot better than it has been. it's sad to give a bad review, but it's pure honesty. i have never been more disappointed with a dentist.

I've been a long-time patient at Dr Gold's Source Dental (with Dr. Gold, Sussman and John) over 5 years and found this dentist office to be one of the best. I've also had Ashley as my hygienist for a couple of years and she's by far the best hygienist. She really makes you feel welcomed and ensures that you are comfortable throughout the procedure and with her it's a great experience from the beginning where she brings you in to the end when she takes you to the front to make sure you are good to go. The admin stuff are also extremely nice where they always have a smile in their faces. Recently however, I had the WORST experience with a hygienist or assistant (curly hair with glasses, medium-heavy build lady) I came into get my mouth guard and when I realized it wasn't exactly what I was looking for in terms of fit or style, she gave me an attitude almost as if I was of an inconvenience to her. She brought the doctor in and said how she doesn't think they have other ones and the doctor pretty much told me he can redo it for me. After he left and she was redoing the mold-casing, it was not a good experience whatsoever as she just seemed to be quite negative and kept pushing the metal casing into my gums even though I told her to stop. I had to spit it out and she did nothing to help me. When she had to redo it, she had a stink face and by then, I was simply done interacting with her and left. This was the WORST customer experience I've ever had in my life.

Needles scare the heck out of me, and when I told Dr. Gold that, he had me shut my eyes and gave me the needles in such a way that I didn't see or feel them. I've never been so calm during a dentist appointment. As a young child I was terrified of the dentist. I had bad experiences where ever I went! Whenever I knew I had a dental visit coming up I would be riddled with anxiety for days and once I stepped foot into the office I would get instant panic attacks. I became a patient at Dr.Golds from a young age and have had nothing but FANTASTIC experiences. The staff is wonderful and so personable. I never even think twice about an upcoming visit now. Jade did my x-rays and assisted Barb on my exam. Nikki came in last and did the routine check up. These three ladies blew me away with their “bed side manner”. SO friendly, SO kind and just amazing!!! I can’t express how I feel enough! I am in my twenties now and have yet to have a bad experience with this office! I also now have two children of my own. My eldest is 4 and had his FIRST visit at the Dentist yesterday. I was MORE than impressed!! The wonderful staff took fantastic care of my little guy! Alicia/Alesha (sorry if incorrect spelling) was amazing with him!!! Jade took his x-rays and was so friendly and kind! Both girls did an exceptional job with my child I am beyond impressed!! Being a mother you are always worried about your child being in the care of others but these two ladies had me so confident and not the slightest bit worried! My son is booked in for 6 months and he is looking forward to it!!! This is SO refreshing considering how I felt about the dentist as a child! Dr.Gold came in to do his routine check in and of course he was nothing short of amazing as well! Dental visits start with the employees at the desk. How you are treated by them can leave a bad taste in your mouth about the whole office and experience. The wonderful ladies who greeted us had us smiling from the moment we walked in. Such lovely staff all together as a unit. All in all, 100/10! Highly recommend this office!

They have implemented alot of changes to fight the spread of COVID-19 so staff and patients are safe. The first thing you notice is that the doors are closed and you have to phone to be let in. Then someone takes your temperature and you use the hand sanitiser. You sit in the waiting area where the chairs are spaced for social distancing. The hygenist comes to get you and she is wearing full PPE (mask, shield, gown)). She leads you to the exam room. All rooms and the corridor are sealed with plastic curtans. The exam room has an air purified with a HEPA filter. After your treatment you go to the front counter where the staff are behind glass dividers. There's no physical contact while you book your next appointment. Its very safe!

Kinda thought my smile was lost, unfixable but I go to see Dr gold and he not only takes my anxiety of the dentist office away but gave me a new smile that's boosted my confidence quite a bit. Ok, my worst nightmare is going to the dentist, and I have not been in twenty years easy.... But I have run into some real trouble with my teeth and gums. So I had no choice but to go. I walked in really nervous, scared, worried. I was quickly put at ease though, the staff is just over the top amazing. I felt so relaxed once I was in the chair. I was kept in the know of every tiny thing that was happening, every single thing was explained to me, and I couldn't say more about how well I was treated. I have lots of work to go on my teeth, but I am just not worried about it anymore, as I know I am in the best hands I could be. I feel lucky.

Everyone is great here. They do great dental work. Lost one star because they dont take govt assistance insurance for adults anymore. Also ive been going here for 37 years. Only my kids go here now because of my insurance type. So i go somewhere else. I was going to pull my kids for being descrimanted against due to my insurance type but in 37 years ive never had a problem so i keep my kids with them. And also i think they have some kinda anti aging secret. I remember going as a kid and dr gold and barb still look almost the same age 37 yrs later. How????

I would give them no star or even negative points if possible. They are, by far, the worst dental experience I've ever had in my life. I lost one tooth completely and the other one in 2years I had to get there 4times and it is still not fixed which I decide to go to another dentist to fix it for me. To be honest, they look like dentists but I believe they are some thiefs that make you come back again and again to make money as much as possible from you. I have a tooth that got fixed with another doctor 15 years ago and it still fine. But the one these people (I prefer not calling them doctors) try to fix, after 4 visits, the filling came off completely and they want to charge me again for a new filling and a crown!!!!! Are you kiding me?! I DON'T recommend them at all and if possible don't even step a foot in their office.

Visited Dr. Gold's Source Dental on Monday June 15th, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic I was a little apprehensive to go get my teeth cleaned. However, once I arrived I was amazed by how much care and precautions are in place in order to prevent any spread of the virus. Rooms are sealed, my hygienist was covered from head to toe with PPE and as always she cleaned my teeth to perfection. I would recommend Dr. Gold's Source Dental as I have always had a great experience.

They will “fix” your teeth poorly and then when you decide to hold them accountable and say that they didn’t - they blame it on you. I had very small cavity filled and it continued to hurt and they told me that my teeth were “old”. I was 18 - I promptly saw a different dentist who inform me that filling was done incorrectly. Thank goodness for dental insurance or I would have had to pay double to fix something minor. Don’t go here - they do more damage then good and they treat kids horribly.

I would not recommend anybody see this dentist. I agree with all of the other negative reviews. Dr. Gold's is very nice, but I belive to be very untrustworthy. I went in for a cleaning as a brand new patient and they tried to sell me very expensive invisalign. My teeth are perfectly straight and have always gotten compliments on them. When I declined invisalign and expressed my confusion as to why I would need something like that- I was then told that "it may help my bite" and "you would only have to wear them for a little while" again, I never had a problem with my bite or my teeth EVER! Be very weary of him. I think he is out for money. it's very sad. I never write reviews, but this guy should probably be shut down.

I avoid dentists only because every experience I've had has been awful (mainly because I have such terrible teeth); however, I walked into this office for emergency wisdom teeth removal, had a cleaning done on my teeth and was explained in detail what I was looking at to have my teeth fixed so that I can actually keep them. I'm so disappointed in Dr.Gold's Practice. Their policy on cancelations or no show is detrimental to their business. They do their "confirming" 2 weeks prior to your visit!! I'm a cardiac patient who's had a year from hell, and because of ONE no show, they refuse to see me again. It's hard to give notice when you're hooked up to machines. I even offered proof and the receptionist over talked my explanation. I EVEN went as far as saying I would PAY for the missed appointment where again she over spoke me. So unprofessional. Listen, in a world where it's chaotic and unsure, how can a professional be that harsh on a person, just so disappointed. I had two veneers by them...both turned black! They are not honoring their work by fixing them, probably the root of why they don't want me back. Do your research first before investing into an Dental office who lacks integrity!

I came to Dr. Gold's Source Dental several years ago when my previous dentist "couldn't fit me in" to their schedule on an emergency basis. I had a significantly broken tooth that required immediate attention. Dr. Gold took me in without hesitation and I was immediately impressed with his office, staff, flexibility, professionalism and comforting "bedside manner". I switched to his office immediately thereafter. I have had significant dental issues for as long as I can remember. Just today, I had my top, front (6) teeth replaced with crowns. Words cannot describe the incredible difference this has made - I actually burst in to tears of happiness in my car when I truly saw the results for the first time. I am not a "burst into tears" kind of guy! It affected me in a way that surprised me, the improvement was so dramatic. My teeth have made me self conscious of my smile for my entire adult life. Today's procedure (among the many other improvements Dr. Gold and his team have made) have alleviated those feelings entirely. To Dr. Gold, Operations Manager Jasmin, my hygienist Ashley and everyone else in the office, thank you. No one likes going to the dentist. However, it's comforting to know that when I must go - I will be met with professionalism, compassion, stunning results and only the best of care. Awful experience. Their handling of insurance payments was weak and staff implied necessary appointment when reality was cosmetic procedure versus implied cavity. Caught account receivables mistake which said I owe more than I do and upon clarification they adjusted, but makes me wonder how many of these "mistakes" go unnoticed and patients pay more than they should. I visited your Dental office on Tuesday December 12, 2017 as I had a tooth that was bothering me. Dr. Kazim administered the injection to freeze my jaws. I have been having serious pain on the injection site ever since which was repeatedly injected during the procedure. Pain with the tooth itself has not improved either. My Experience

STAY AWAY AT ANY COST! DON’T GET TRAPPED WITH THE PAID REVIEWS. I ended up there by reading these PAID reviews and they charged $260 for the initial check up. it’s not a dentist place. It’s more like a pay day loan place. It’s a well planned financial system with a strategic marketing plan. My primary check up appointment was lasted for 8 min and I talked with dentist for 1 min out of my total time. They quoted me $18k for the treatment. I was shocked ???? and politely refused to schedule any further appointment. Then, hard selling started. If you don’t do this you will loose your teeth very soon.... Finally, I said I can’t afford this. Another surprise! They took me to the finance department inside and offered me a loan with 10 instalments. Really??? Truly “Gold Source” Done the treatment elsewhere with experience dentist in $988 only. By the way this was happened 3 years back and I still have all my healthy teeth. ????

Worst experience ever! Last month I had a tooth pulled out(partially) Job was done in a very unpleasant and unprofessional way. The assistant kept poking my face with a suction tool which was very annoying. The doctor instead of pulling the tooth out was drilling the tooth out for almost an hour.I walked out with a sore jaw for a week and torn lip.But this it not the end of a story, a month later after scan for implant I found out there is some pieces of root left so now they want me to come and repeat the procedure. I don't care about money insurance will cover that but my time and my pain nobody will cover that! Not sure about other services they do but I would not recommend to do the extraction in that place. Even if they tell me to fix it with no charge I still won't be back. I did an extraction in September, went back there in the middle of October with x rays for the implant, doctor told me that I have enough bone for the implant, now I went to another periodontist at the end of November and he told me who left such a mess and I might have not have enough bone for the implant because it was drilled in too deep when they extracted that tooth. So instead of implant I might end up with a bridge. I hope it's just my experience, but I won't change my mind, they are not professionals.

But I gathered my courage and made an appointment with Dr. Gold's office. My first visit went amazing! I was expecting to be judged and lectured on the state of my teeth, but it was just the opposite. The ladies at the reception desk were very friendly, to start. And the hygienist who first saw me, Barb, was very sweet, straightforward and helpful. She made sure I understood what my insurance would cover, and explained what treatments I might need. The lovely young lady who did my x-rays was incredibly pleasant and personable. Both of these wonderful women made sure that I felt secure, and would often give their praise about how well I was doing, which made me feel a lot more confident about receiving treatment. I was nervous to meet the dentist, Dr. Gold, but that was a baseless fear. He is a very nice man, funny too, and he also gave me the same sense of reassurance that this practice is all about. These people are truly wonderful. They will work with you to accommodate your needs. They are all able to provide a wonderful, nurturing and caring environment while being eminently professional. If all dental offices were this outstanding, no one would ever avoid a visit to the dentist again.

So she had to fix that because she was lying. Well my third appointment I had to cancel for my cleaning this is my first and only cancellation but the woman said it was fine that she'll make me an appointment for the next week and she did well I went into that appointment for a cleaning this was like 4 months ago. They told me that they will be seeing me in 6 months and they gave me a date that's a couple months from now I have an appointment in May well I called today March 5th because I'm having severe pains in my mouth and the woman tried telling me that I cancelled way too many times that I can no longer ever go back there i have only ever cancelled once and I've been in their office after that cancellation how is that? if I have an appointment to go there in a couple of months. now she saying i cant go back.This is a very bad place I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I don't know why they would have to lie about this. Maybe it's because I'm in a wheelchair I don't know but this place is bad business

I had a large chip out of one and an odd shaped tooth next to it. I have had braces but they can’t fix odd shaped teeth and well chipping teeth happens- so if this is ever the case for you I recommend any of them but Kendra did my work for me she put the perfect colour and made it look as though nothing happened and shaped the tooth beside I walked out of that office smiling with better looking teeth! If I could give a 0 I would. I'm using a friend's account to write this. I'm on ontario works I made an appointment to get my wisdom teeth to get taken out. I was under the impression I was being put to sleep but when I got there it wasn't the case. I have extream anxiety that they are aware off. I'm very scared when I showed up. I find out from the very nice oral surgeon that because of how scared I am and my tooth is touching a nerve that if I even moved slightly he could cut the nerve and my face would be numb forever. Scary thought. So he suggested I be refured out to somewhere where I can be put to sleep. Great. I get my ontario works card back and a reffural card. I called the reffural Dr to set up an appointment. They tell me it'll be 160$ just for the consult and they do not take ontario works. They inform me to call Dr gold back and ask them to refer me to someone els and call a number to find out what ones take ontario works plans. I called Dr gold back they were very rude telling me I just chose not to get them out at my appointment making me feel even worse about my anxiety. Then saying they could not help me and only refured to that one clinic and that it was then only one that put people to sleep. I then asked it's the only one in durham rigion? She said that we know off. I find that very hard to Beleive. So I called the other office back explained it to her they were extremely nice telling me they should be calling for me to figure it out as there the only ones who can. I'm so sickened by the way I was treated by the staff. I have a mental heath disorder that they just put me down for and made me feel worse about myself then I already had when I had it happen. I have been going to this office for a few years now. I am not a fan of the dentist but Dr. Gold and his staff make me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I actually went today and Dr. Gold made my smile beautiful again. Thank you so much Dr. Gold!! My Periodontist is so incredibly nice that I gave her a hug today.
