Dr. Romani is a wonderful dentist! He removed my 4 wisdom teeth with such ease, great patient bedside rapport. When I say I felt very comfortable, it is not an understatement and this was important because I was incredibly apprehensive about the procedure! Great post surgery instructions included as well, you can tell he cares about his patients dearly based on his interactions! Very sweet, generous and knowledgeable. Highly recommend, absolutely stellar service! Friendly assistant and front desk staff as well!

The positive atmosphere I need to take charge or my dental health! The team at Smile View are the best. They are friendly understanding and always in your court. For various reasons my dental health has never been great but Dr. Nashid does not shame me rather he educates and encourages me along my road for great teeth. Went there twice and I must say they have really friendly stuff. Above all the dentist Dr. Romani (probably did'nt spell his name right) is the best dentist I ever came across. He always looks out for his customers intrest and does a prestine and outstanding job!!! Have been to this place multiple times now for differen't operations, the services are top of the line. Can't complain! EDIT: Just came back for a checkup recently. Dr. Nashid is still fantastic (if not better) at explaining everything and addressing all of my questions. He is so easy to speak with and his conservative approach in creating a treatment plan with you is quite refreshing! I, on the other hand, I'm not doing as fantastic in my dental care but that's another story lol. I managed to get an emergency checkup appointment within 2 days and when I arrived there was no wait! Staff were all super friendly! I'm going to be coming back here probably a few more times over the next month to get some cavities and my cleaning done. Will update this if I have any un-appeasing experience but I highly doubt that.

Hi, at first when I went for an initial assessment I did find the front staff and Dentist, Dr. Amy Newark, friendly. However, when I had the actual cleaning and filling of my cavities there were some things I should not have ignored at the moment that I have issues with now (this was done yesterday). First thing was that throughout the cleaning process I wasn't given a chance to spit out all that liquid that comes into one's mouth, including blood that came from my gums (and it wasn't a little, it was a lot). I ended up swallowing it (gross!). Also at the end I was told to gargle just using water...UH when you are told you had a deep cavity where the nerve almost got exposed and there could be risk of infection shouldn't one gargle with an antiseptic mouth wash at least? Also when I came home I had such a stiff and pain on the left side of my neck where the left side of my teeth (cavity) because of the pressure put on cleaning my teeth and having my head stuck in one direction...Also for my mom who doesn't have dental insurance coverage there was no significant discount to have her initial assessment done and for treatment. When she had an X-ray done of the teeth and was told there was a cavity And we requested a copy of it (it was emailed to me) and I could hardly see where the cavity was. It was just a poor quality image and was not the equivalent of a professional medical / dental report. Not impressed. I feel like being professional and being compassionate are two qualities that should go hand in hand in the medical and dental profession. But these days it just seems like they are all money makers, especially dentists, when they find out you have coverage and like 100 percent their eyes light up and they think of a million things that could happen to your teeth or exaggerate it like I was told there could be a risk of serious infection after this treatment (what?! Seriously!!) and a root canal...Uh ok then ????

When i fist went there i had such horrible anxiety about the while situation. Tears streamed down my face. But, they put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. Since then i refuse to use any other dental office. Smile View Dental is the best dental office in all of durham.

I experience a lot of anxiety at even the thought of booking a dentist appointment, and this time it was even more difficult as I had been using the same dentist for my entire life and this was my first appointment at a new office. Having said that, my first experience with Dr. Nashid was extremely positive. He took time to go over any issues I may have had, and offered friendly advice when he could. He fully explained the procedure, how much it would cost me, treatment I may require in the future, pain in the affected tooth and the different options I may have. The procedure itself went very well. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment, and multiple times asked me how I was feeling. The Dental Assistant/Hygienist was also very professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Nashid if you are looking for a new dentist!

This office seems to be out for grabbing as much money as possible. They made sure to max out the available insurance coverage I had and then they insisted I had a cavity that needed filling. When I asked to see the X-ray of said cavity, they gave me a bunch of fast talk and didn't actually show me the cavity. Here it is, over a year later, and there's zero evidence of a cavity having existed. EDIT: I see the owner of the clinic replied to me. So you cannot find me in your database, eh? That could be because my name isn't really "Lone Wolf". It's astounding to me that you have to have that pointed out to you. And you indeed did fast talk me when I asked to see the X-ray. The girl shuffled me along while explaining verbally where the alleged cavity was located. You guys are full of it. There is no cavity in my mouth. The only cavity was one in your bank account that needed filling with my money.

Didn't even hurt that much! They took x-rays, clean up (45ish minutes), Dr. Nash checked me out and they even gave me a little goodie bag at the end. Highly recommend!

I've had the pleasure to work for Dr. Nashid and get to know him on a personal level for 6 years as a dental hygienist and unfortunately due to my move to Toronto, I could not keep up with the commute any longer and had to leave. :( However, I want to mention that I've seen his work first hand and how he treats patients and he is unmatched. Dr. Nashid always takes his time with patients, explaining procedures throughly. He'll never rush you out the door. He'll always be honest and conservative with the treatments that he recommends so he'll never try to push anything on you just to make money. He always thinks about the best interest of the person. He's kind and caring, the best bedside manners I've ever seen in a dentist. He'll also make you laugh because he's got such a great sense of humour. And not only that, you can always trust his skills as a dentist with any dental procedure. He's very meticulous and he keeps up with the latest science on dentistry. To this day, I won't have anyone work on my teeth except him. It just makes me so sad that competitors get jealous of his success and want to ruin his good name and are targeting him with fake reviews and false statements. He's the last person to deserve that kind of treatment. Do yourself a favour and come in for an appointment and see for yourself a dentist who is kind, patient, honest and does amazing work!

Stay away from this dentist. As a student at UOIT, I visited this dentist for a cleaning. Following a scan, I was advised that I had FOUR cavities that needed to be filled. Since I had limited dental insurance through the university, I could only afford to fill one cavity. A year later, after getting my first job, I visited another dentist in Toronto. I informed the Toronto dentist that I had four that needed to be filled ASAP. He did an Xray and both the doctor and the individual who cleaned my teeth were confused because neither one of them were able to find ANY cavities. To make matters worse, the dentist at Smile View screwed up the ONE cavity he filled. Each time I ate, I was in serious discomfort and my gums were swollen. I had to pay to have this corrected. ALL IN ALL STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST.

Don't go to this Dentist. Dr Nashid is a terrible person. I went to this dentist because his clinic is close to my house and because of the reviews (fake). He talks down to people. He over charges. He's rough. I didn't go back to get my stitches taken out, because I didn't want see this dentist again. I took out my own stitches (imagine how awful this dentist must be: I removed out my own stitches . I will be reporting this dentist. Don't go here. You won't find my name but I was a patient here this week. Everything went fine through the cleaning the hygienist was very nice and did a great job. When the dentist entered he held my chin down and used the handle of the mirror tool and whacked every single tooth I own. I was so in shock. I won't be back. Infact I'd like my money back. And would gladly give my name for a full refund. I couldn't feel the pain until the next day due to my neurological disease. Which was fully documented prior to his assessment.

I've been going to Smile View dental for years. The office is always tidy/clean and the staff there is always welcoming and courteous! I am completely comfortable and satisfied with the work they do in my mouth too! My husband was very sceptic about going because he had such bad experiences at another office in the past but I managed to convince him to try here with Dr. Roni Nashad and he talks very highly of him and his service to everyone. We now bring my 2.5 year old son there to get him used to regular dental visits. They were so patient with him and made sure they made him comfortable. Him and all his hygienist are all excellent at what they do, they are also very honest and are very thorough with explaining things to you. Ive been to this place a few times now and I LOVE IT! This dental office has caught so many mistakes and problems that my main dentist has missed and has failed to fix. Dr. Nashid is a very good dentist who is understanding of your budget and concerns and is also very thorough with his procedures. I love how friendly the staff are as soon as you walk in, and they are very understanding of your time schedule and what your needs are. Ive never had a problem with a tooth not healing well and the office even calls you the next day to check up on your procedures. I came to this office a few months ago for the first time to have my teeth cleaned and professionally whitened. Dr. Nashid did a great job. Dr. Nashid needs to be investigated for fraud. Whatever this man tells you, PLEASE get a second opinion from another dentist before giving him any of your money. I went here when I was a student at Durham College because it's right across the street and they accept the Durham College dental benefits that we students get. He did an x-ray and told me I had SIX cavities which I highly doubted since I always took care of my teeth. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and got another x-ray. The second dentist found NO cavities. Dr. Nashid was trying to take advantage of my dental coverage and tried to take my money and was willing to flat-out lie to do so. Durham College's Student Services are aware of him as well. Please avoid this dentist. Reply: Everything I stated in my review is the truth. Dr. Nashid, you have a dozen reviews on here all making the same complaint I'm making. You really need to take a look in the mirror and realize the terrible things you're doing to students. I really hope you get caught one day.

Stay away. He told me I had cavities. I went to another dentist and turns out I don't have any. This man is dangerous. I never had a cavity before I went to him, he did two fillings on me before I decided to find someone else. He is performing unnecessary procedures. He needs to lose his licence. All he cares about is money. Reply: I did not use my real name. Only thing you take seriously is money, and I hope you're business goes under. You are a danger to the public.
