Great assistant Irene did a fantastic Job Im usually nervous at the Dentist office ! I felt very comfortable there on my consultation I met with very nice experienced Dr Tan looking forward to getting work done now! I’m not a fan of the dentist. Who is? But everyone at Georgian dental made me feel very welcomed and safe from the minute I walked in the door. Gustavo did my cleaning and he was SO KIND and informative. I have TMJ so I am a little sore afterwards but this is expected. Dr. Tan did my check up and was also very kind and gave me affordable options on how to move forward. Instead of dreading the dental work I need done, I’m actually looking forward to being seen at Georgian Dental again in the up coming weeks. Thanks Georgian Dental!

Dr. Tan is an amazing Dentist. His professionalism and knowledge are outstanding. But what I like most about him is that he is not a "make work" Dentist like so many others out there. You will only be recommended the treatment you need and given all your options. We've had experience with other Dentists who push for procedures every time you go for a checkup. As they advertise, walk in emergency dental. Do not fall for it. It was not fixed or even started to work on. My daughter said she was in pain had been to emergency who actually helped her more than this dentist. He did x-rays and took a look in her mouth. A big 15 minute job. She walks out in severe pain crying. They just soaked me $200 and did absolutely nothing. This is why they offer payment plans because their prices are ridiculous. She's 19 and they quoted her over $4500..for minimal work. I won't ever recommend this dentist to anyone. Who let's a patient so young leave worse than when she arrived. No thanks, ... I just read your response. She asked for help with a big abcess in her mouth, she was told you would help her get that day.. She didn't ask for anything else...but you scared the daylights out of her, she doesn't have that kind of money...and you made sure she was going thru expensive procedures instead of just fixing what she asked. Then you sent her outside to stand in -30 weather, she was freezing and crying. I have looked up the costs and yes they are quite the same but not all the unnecessary procedures that you made her think she had to get done. After this experience, you try to justify it by blabbing on a review. This tells me that you must have a lot of friends who will leave you good ratings. As a dentist, this was unethical as she was promised on the phone that the dentist would do something for her abcess. So the emergency visits do not fix same day. I also work in Healthcare so please don't.

Very professional, caring and honest staff. They take the time to explain what all of your options are and go over approximate costing of what your treatment would be. They truly have your dental health and best interest at heart. They take their time and don't try to rush you out the door.

I went to Georgian Dental to get my wisdom teeth removed and they did a fantastic job. A few days later when the swelling was bad they let me come in and they helped give me tips on how to keep the swelling down! I would recommend Georgian Dental to anyone.

I went to Georgian after seeing all the good reviews... seemed like a nice new office. I had one dentist decide I needed fillings. I had a different dentist do the work. I had pain for over a month so I went back for an adjustment and saw another dentist because the other one quit. This one was in such a rush they cut my lip wide open with the drill.i still had pain another month later... I finally went back to my old dentist due to still having pain and he said hes never seen such poor practice and if pain doent subside I could need a root canal.... my wife also had work done here. They used so much freezing she couldn't feel her face or throat all day with terrible bruising. Then a week later had to get a root canal due to the pain and deep filling. I'm doing this review because months later after unhappy with our treatment, we got emails thanking us for our 5 star review... we never entered a review. I think they are fraudulently reviewing themselves with patient info.

My 8yr old daughter and I were visiting Orillia from Toronto for my in-laws wedding. The night before the wedding, December 4, 2015, my child's filing fell out. We were able to get into Georgian Dental early the following morning. Because we were coming back into the city, the dentist put a temporary filing in until we could see a dentist in the city. This was very convenient for me as I was strapped for cash and am on assistance. The dentist and his assistant were very patient and kind with my daughter. I was very pleased with their raport and professionalism. The reception staff were also very kind. If I lived in Orillia this would be my families dental office. Highly recommended. THANK YOU!!!

This place is amazing! I had to get some emergency work done on a Saturday afternoon and the fact that Georgian Dental was the only place I could find open is what brought me to them. I was so impressed with the level of politeness, comfort and professionalism from Jenn and Dr. Ng that I immediately decided to switch from my current dentist to Georgian Dental. On my next appointment I had received the same amazing service again from Jenn, Sina, Megan and all the front desk girls. Awesome experience, great service and highly recommended!

All the staff are super friendly and helpful. I came in with a very sensitive tooth yesterday Dr. Jodery and Sandra did my exam and xrays then discussed my options with me they were extremely helpful in my decision which was to have my molar removed. I had my extraction today and must commend Dr. Jodery it took a lot of work but he managed to remove the tooth in one piece. Sandra then made sure I got all my after care instructions and prescriptions. I’d like to personally thank Dr. Jodery and Sandra as I suffer from a Parkinson’s tremor and they did a great job working with me they were super patient.

Best Dental Experience by far EVER. Dr. Adam Tan and all Staff are amazing. Not a clinical experience what so ever. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I have been to dentists before in the past and let me tell you, it has given me things to remember and cringe when ever I go into a dental office. Not this time I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff and overall experience. I recently had some work that needed to be done asap. I was fit in and worked on. It was the "after" that hit home for me, that Dr. Tan and his staff go above and beyond. This morning, just for example, I received a phone call, it was Dr Tan's office calling me, the reason for the call was to ask me. Yes ask me!!! How I was doing this morning after my procedure I was in total shock, not once have I , myself received a call from any other dentist office in the past, call me to see how I was doing and feeling. Then the second surprise of the day was I received an email. Welcoming me as a patient. Again Shock. Then I received a third and final surprise. I received a notification on my cell phone via text message that this is a service that they also provide to remind patients of up coming appointments. Great Option for the ones on the go all the time. Now if this is not above and beyond, then I have no idea at all what is. THEY ARE A MUST!! I am now switching both of my children and have told several friends and family members my experience, they too are now considering the switch. I may be a patient of only a few days but let me tell you I am a patient for years and years to come. Look no further everyone, Dr. Tan and his staff are by far the best in the dental industry, in my opinion. The dentists are the same. They stand by their work - I once had a filling that wasn't quite the right bite, and it was fixed quickly and without any fuss. Great for all ages.

I had my wisdom teeth yoinked out and it was a very quick process. The staff is really skilled and nice! I'm usually not a fan of dentists, as I've had some overcharge, do treatments that are unessecary and even one that did a treatment without consent but this place is really straightforward and possibly the best.

I was really impressed with the people at this place that we saw. My 2 boys had their first visit to the dentist and they were very nervous, but we had Conni, who was awesome with them. It was as if they had been there before and they were so comfortable with her. We have to drive quite a bit further to get to this office than we would to the dentist in our town, but it was definitely worth it. Plus, I was impressed with the professionalism there and that the ladies weren't dressed like they were going out like other dentist offices.

Would not recommend. Got a root canal done on a tooth here a few years ago, and they didn't do it right. An obvious shadow below the tooth was told something to keep an eye on but other than than nothing done. Was sent to their "specialist" in Barrie because they don't redo root canals and had to pay $150 to get it looked at where I was told that if I didn't have the funds right now or wasn't causing any pain to leave it for now. They never put a crown on it so I would have to get the tooth fixed every time the filling would fall apart, and when I would ask about the Shadow under my tooth to see if it had got worse they would not say much of anything about it. Now after talking to my current dentist it is definitely an infection that has been growing for years. Fillings and cleanings aren't bad but anything else go to some one else. Or if you go to them for a root canal, just get the tooth pulled, it will be easier in the long run.

Had what I consider a dental emergency (broke a molar). Called and reception was very friendly and so helpful. Communications were so spot on. Texts, emails. All the ways busy people need these days. Dr. Parisa was able to see me the same morning. Thank-you. While I was there, they had some open time and was offered cleaning. Fabiana was awesome. I've had so many that say they're gentle but are really not. Fabiana was awesome. Friendly, personable and skilled. Thank-you for taking me on such short notice and caring. I am so grateful for the staff at Georgian Dental. They have made my life so much easier and service is amazing. They helped me on an emergency basis and my experience was wonderful, which I have never been comfortable at a dental office until now. My daughter has been going as well and her experience was great. We do not have insurance and their fees were very fair. My father is now a patient and he is 89 years old and in a wheelchair. He needs help transferring out of his chair and that was no problem with the staff. They took care of everything with him including arranging rides with Owls transport. The front desk staff are pleasant. When I went for a couple fillings the hygienist and the dentist said maybe 3 words to me for the duration of the filling. The dentist spoke to me for a minute when she was finished, and then I waited to be excused… after a couple minutes of complete silence I asked if I could leave, the hygienist said yes. I was annoyed because nobody communicated that to me. Maybe an off day for them, I don’t know. I didn’t feel as comfortable as I have in the past at other dentists.

Dr. Tan has been very helpful in correcting most of my problems. I have been very pleased with all the services except implants procedures I received. Possibly more investigation such as a bone density test prior to the procedures being done would insure the success of the implants, preventing unnecessary cost to the clients would be helpful. Where to start lol... I had a scheduled appointment (my first appointment with Georgian Dental) but had to wait 50+ mins from when I arrived to be seen. My front tooth bonding was rushed (likely due to the lack of time), which resulted in a botched job (my tooth is not straight along the bottom/asymmetrical and feels extremely gritty on the back). The dental assistant sprayed me in the face with the water tool during the procedure. Georgian Dental will not bill your insurance directly, you will need to contact them yourself to be reimbursed (this was not the standard at my previous dental office), so be prepared to pay out of pocket. Front desk girls were nice and the office is clean and well-decorated, so there is that.

The staff are always so friendly. They have a coordinator who can answer any and all of your questions. I just had all four wisdom teeth pulled and am sitting at home with some swelling, but am so glad I went to Georgian Dental to get it done. I always feel well taken care of. Couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

I have had fairly major treatments performed by Georgian Dental in the past year, most recently a 5 tooth bridge. All procedures were performed with great success, no pain or inconvenience to me, quickly, efficiently and professionally. Dr.Crosby and clinic and office staff are very friendly, knowledgeable,skillful and very helpful in creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for patients. The office was very cooperative with payment arrangements. My family and I have been patients at this dental clinic and its predecessor for over 40 years. After deciding to have 8 dental implants that was an all day venture, I was amazed at how Royally I was treated by the entire staff, I felt like family by the time the day was over and although it was a long surgery, and there was substantial bruising and swelling I can say there was not a lot of pain involved . Dr. Tan was amazing, skillful and gentle and his staff are amazing, especially Jen ,Irene and Meghan. This was a big decision and I am so glad that I did it. The process will not be completely done for a few more months, but the rest will be a breeze..

First trip to a dentist office for my 6 year old. She had been seen privately at home but it was time to deal with her broken teeth. She was scared. Can not say thank you enough to Gustavo! He made her so incredibly comfortable she wants to visit him just for fun. His time and patience also transferred over to the specialist we were referred to, when her nerves showed up I just reminded her that Gustavo said it was okay and that she could go back to Gustavo after the specialist took care of the teeth he was needed for. She speaks of Gustavo like he is her friend and wants to bring him cake all the time. They met days after her birthday and they talked about cake between his explanations of what he was doing for her teeth and how it would feel. He took the time to talk to her about whatever she needed to talk about. It has made a lasting impression and she trusts him. Our first visit was late November 2020, we will visit regularly because of the kindness and care she received. The office ladies were all brilliant as well, at no point did I feel rushed or like I had anything to be ashamed of as a parent or frightened about for what would happen to my girl. Best dental experience EVER! Highly recommend them all to anyone.

I called on Saturday morning to ask for help with a severe toothache. I was booked to go in for 2pm as the earliest time. The receptionist was patient and polite with me. Dr. Bot and a dental assistant saw me and assessed my toothache. He prescribed a painkiller and antibiotics for my problem with my wisdom tooth and patiently told me how to take the medication until I am able to get a hold of an oral surgeon who can extract my wisdom teeth under IV sedation. I have no complaints about Dr. Bot or the other employees who assisted me. If it was not for them I would be in more pain and more anxious than I am now. I don't live in Orillia and this office was the nearest one to where I was at the moment that was open to help me. I am grateful to them for their patience and professionalism.

The office staff are exceptional. They are very fr Emily and make me feel welcome. The dentist and staff are able to answer all my questions and offer many services on site so I do not have to go to another practice for specialty care. It's clean, modern and offers the latest services. Definitely recommend my patients and family to see Dr. Tan and staff!

I have been with Dr. Tan and his team for years. They are by far the best dental service I have ever had. Dr Tan is a perfectionist so I am as always happy with the out come. The dental hygienist is always friendly and caring. She keeps me on the straight and narrow with my brushing and flossing. She will help if I am having a problem with any tooth in particular. If your looking for a good dentist and complete dental care in the Orillia or Barrie area I highly recommend you give Georgian Dental a try.

Right...so I called this business in hopes of getting a fix done to my tooth. Here's my experience as follows: I called, I was able to get in "to be looked at." Right away on the phone call, I was not given a baseline/potential starting cost as to what this "being looked at" was going to be....was not told any potential costs. I get there, waited a few minutes in the lobby and was brought into one of the rooms where they sit you down and do what they gotta do. Dentist looked in my mouth, sat me back up and told me what my problem was. Out of nowhere, I was being told I needed an XRay, which was understandable because the dentists need to know whats going on in my mouth, so I'm told. This was the FIRST time I was being told I needed an XRay. Wasn't told the cost of said XRay before they proceeded to do it, otherwise I simply would've said no. But according to their desk lady: "We don't tell the customers that information. Customers absolutely have to ask these questions." I was mind blown, hearing this from customer service. XRay or the cost of the XRay was never mentioned to me in the first original call, and would it have been mentioned to me that "the doctor may possibly need to give you an XRay, the Starting Cost would be X amount.." I would've postponed this appointment due to my current finances. After the XRay was done, I went to the desk. "The XRay will be $200.00." Oh look, I finally was given a cost! After the work was done to me that I had no idea about in the first place. The cost of the XRay was a problem for me. It wouldn't have been a problem if I was told this on the phone, WELL BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT. But again, zero information, zero base cost, zero "potential" costs, nothing. I repeatedly told the lady this. I had to send them an EMT. I get home, call them back and told them, we've got another problem. I literally don't have the money, what do we have for options? Was met with the most rude, appalling customer service I have ever had ANYWHERE. The lady I was dealing with blasted me with insane assumptions telling me "what, did you think this was going to be free" This lady repeated this line to me upwards to 10 times during the phone call when I finally told her "not once did I mention anything about me getting anything for free." I was met with a complete argumentative, repulsive individual who I couldn't get across for solutions, AT ALL. This chick lost her cool and had no problem arguing with me. I called them back to ask about a payment solution so I could give them my money, this is a FACT, and was met with the most hostile woman I've ever dealt with over the phone. I couldn't believe this creature repeatedly asked me "What, did you think this was going to be free?" Who the hell says that? She tried telling me businesses don't tell their customers the starting costs of services. Absolutely insane. I repeatedly told her if she gave me even a starting cost prior to the appointment over the phone, I would have absolutely postponed todays appointment, due to finances. An onslaught of assumptions were made at this business. First off, they assumed I was covered under insurance, which I am not, and haven't been for 10 years. Original phone call, I was never asked if I was covered under any insurance.....these people pulled up 10 year old information that they had stored. The desk lady specifically, assumes that "every person coming to the Dr knows what is going to happen and they have to spend money" and that "the Dr's don't tell customers these questions and it's absolutely up to the customer to ask these questions" So, in other words, if you don't ask, they don't tell, including your starting cost for ANY appointment, or potential cost that may follow." This lady tried to explain to me over the phone where "if you go into an autoshop to have your car fixed, you don't get told the cost until it's been determined." I laughed....Autoshops literally tell you the STARTING COST, USUALLY DIAGNOSTICS right away, over the phone, well before you bring in your car. Absolutely insane.

I have had nothing but the,friendliest service at Dr. Tans office in Orillia. I have had major work done and can not put into words how special Jenn made me feel,she has a gift that makes one feel at home while there .I would never have imagined I could feel so good while going through major dental work. Jenn your amazing !! Dr. Tan was friendly and put me at ease during all my encounters with him . The whole staff makes you feel welcome the moment they see you ! I have no regrets and would recommend them in a heart beat !!

I wanted to get braces but found other offices could not offer me convenient appointment times so I came to Georgian Dental. They are open evenings and Saturdays so that works well with my schedule. They are super nice and helpful too. I can't wait to get started!
