Great staff and great service. Our family has been going there for 20 years and we've never had a problem. We are always given good advice on maintenance and prevention, and we have never had any unnecessary work done in over 20 years. The dental chairs are comfortable as is the waiting lounge. I have already recommended Dentistry on West to numerous co-workers over the years, and would not hesitate to do so again.

I switched to west about 4 yrs ago , they are very professional there , all thestaff is very friendly. They make youfeel at home there a very relaxed atmosphere. Appiontments are easy to set up and the doctors are very good . Very good spot for all your family. Wish i switched earlier. Great job guys

Full disclosure, I am a dentist, so who better to provide an opinion about it wonderful dental experience. I live in Guelph and was on vacation in the Orillia area when I broke a tooth. I knew it required a crown to be properly restored and I went to see Dr. Hugh Coleman at Dentistry On West. He efficiently and wisely diagnosed the problem. The next treatment session was also efficient and very relaxed. Dr. Coleman's dental assistant was similarly knowledgable and the two worked well together, like a dance each anticipating the moves of the other. Almost before I knew it the process was completed on time and with no discomfort. The support staff was all very friendly and the facility is up-to-date, spacious and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Hugh Coleman at Dentistry On West for your dental needs.

I had a very good experience with Dr. C. Chu and the staff at Dentistry on West. I had to have two molars built up on the side and the fillings replaced and found that it was a painless procedure, because of the excellent freezing job by Dr. Chu - best I've ever had and I was very happy with the results of the work done on my teeth. I also was happy with the work done by the dental hygenist and assistant. D. on W.'s pleasant staff made going to the dentist a much more pleasant experience than I have ever had before.

I have been in multiple times over the past few months to address various issues with my oral health. Upon completion of my most recent visit I was told my dental coverage would not cover my bill and I was to pay $750. Receptionist told me $128 of overages occured on the prior visit also that my insurance company did not pay ($1200 per year). I asked if they could push billing into the month of January so my coverage would pay for the bill, I was told "this would be fraud". If I had known I had reached my yearly coverage limit I would have waited a few months for my next visit. As I paid my bill all I could think was this... Upon arriving for my last visit reception already knew I owed $128 before the final visit had even begun, how staff neglected to advise me I was about to pay a $750 bill out of my pocket before work began or the appointment was made left a bad taste in my mouth. I have nothing but praise for the doctor as I think he is a true class act. I hope this was an isolated incident and no other patients feel the same level of frustration I feel.

What a wonderful dental office! I called while staying at our parents’ cottage as I chipped my tooth and wanted to get it fixed ASAP and didn’t want to drive the 3 hours back home. My initial assessment was very thorough , Following the assessment I was given a verbal and written outline of recommended procedures with the cost. There was no pressure to book another appointment to follow up on these recommendations but I did. The dental staff and the secretarial staff were very professional and friendly.
