Dr. Deyell is professional, courteous and above all else, an excellent dentist. I have had a couple of visits recently for an impacted wisdom tooth. Other dentists I visited suggested I need to see an oral surgeon because they lacked the skills to extract this tooth. Dr. Deyell had the tooth out in 38 minutes, and, I walked out of his office and drove home. The pain was minimal and really only needed Tylenol/Advil to manage. The follow up care I received from him was also excellent. I feel this practice is not merely looking at the bottom line (as so many of them are) and actually strives to provide good dentistry to their patients. A good choice if you're looking for a new dentist!

I gave up going to the dentist due to all my past horrible experiences. I developed a huge anxiety, even just to call and make an appointment. I ended up just letting my teeth go. For almost a year I kept looking at this place called Wortley Road Dental and finally I ended up making an appointment. I needed alot of work done and I was an extreme amount of pain. As nervous as I was, I explained all my past horror stories and expressed my anxieties. From Dr. Wall, to Karen, all the way to the ladies at the front (Lauanne) they were all extremely patient and understanding with me. Every procedure is throughly explained before, during and after. All questions are answered and I'm never made to feel like I'm inconveniencing any of them. Dr.Wall always calls the next day to check in and to make sure I'm not in any discomfort. I never thought I would ever enjoy going back to the dentist office until I found Wortley Road Dental. I actually fell asleep today twice during my root canal procedure. When I leave there I feel like I'm more impowered. The feeling like I just had a really good work-out or yoga class. It really is so amazing to have found a practice like theirs. I will be a patient for as long as Dr Wall is practicing. I would and do recommend going to Dr Wall and his team. I cannot possibly begin to explain how much I appreciate all of you. First I am 50+ and terrified of dentists, I had my first appointment today, it was a consultation on work that i need to have done. I felt at ease from the moment I walked in the door, reception staff and Dr. Wall's dental assistant were so friendly and welcoming. I met with Dr. Wall and he instantly put me at ease and explained all of my options in simple terms and not once did he make me feel bad for letting my teeth get to the point where they are now, he encouraged me to ask questions and made sure that the direction we are headed is what I am looking for. No pressure at all to make another appointment right away, made sure that I knew that a payment plan is available if needed for when the work begins. This will be the place I go to in order to get my smile back. Highly recommend.

Very efficient and lovely dentist right in Wortley! They suggested I get a filling for my upper front tooth as it was chipped. The filling chipped after a week, and they fixed it (and fixed how my teeth rubbed against one another to prevent future chipping) free of charged the day after. Exceptional customer service. Everyone at Wortley Road Dental is incredibly welcoming and full of information. My two children (aged 5 and 3) had an amazing time! The dental assistants that checked and cleaned their teeth were fun and made the whole experience extremely comfortable for my kids. Dr Wall and his team are phenomenal! Our daughter had her first check up at 2. As toddlers do, she wasn't willing to cooperate but the staff were very kind and made it a positive experience. Fast forward to today's appointment 6 months later. Our daughter had a blast and the hygienist Agata was amazing at making it a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this office if you have little ones! (I've also always had a great experience but the balloons and toys are only for kids. ????)

Everyone is friendly, and Dr. Wall is so kind and very gentle! The recently renovated building is very nice too. And they are respectful about financial constraints, just letting you know their recommendations and options without pressure. Would give five stars except for one thing. At my previous dentist, they put covers on the handles of the overhead lights, and they would have someone else pop in to record notes if required, etc. Here the hygienists stop to enter things on the computer in the middle of exam with their gloves on. I assume they do disinfect the keyboards and handles between patients, but seeing those visual cues was a comfort, to be honest. But I still recommend and prefer this place, the kind atmosphere is so much less stressful and more than makes up for it. Would give 4.5 stars if I could.

I came in as a more urgent patient as I had a terrible toothache for a couple of days - Dr. Wall and his team met me with such kindness and patience. I didn’t have a dentist prior to this and they took me on no question. I was very nervous as I had to get a root canal, and Dr. Wall was able to fit me in the same day. I wish I could leave infinity stars! I had a traumatic event happen at the dentist when I was a child which developed into a 'dentist phobia' as an adult. On my first visit to Wortley Road Dental, I explained the situation and the whole team did absolutely anything and everything they could to help me get over my fears! They ensured I saw the same hygienist, Dr. Wall took careful time during fillings, and they made a personal relationship with me. Every time I go to the dentist now, I am delighted that the team remembers personal little things that immediately calm me down. Dr. Wall also takes his time with you to ensure you not only understand what is going on but you are comfortable (and sometimes laughing) during it. Even today, Dr. Wall spent 20 minutes with me at no charge working to ensure that my night guard was perfectly fit for me. Thank you so much Wortley Road Dental Team! I am happy to say, my 'dentist phobia' is gone and it is all because of how amazing you all are!

Dr. Wall is an honest, trustworthy, and hardworking dentist. He's not happy until the job is perfect and isn't afraid to run a little late to get it right. He cares about his patients, first and foremost. You couldn't pay me to go to another dentist. Hands down the best practice in london.

I had to book my partner in because there was no way he was about to do it even though his tooth was broken in half and he was in agony. To say he has a fear of the dentist is an understatement. It was our first time going to Dr.Wall but I thought to try them out as they are very involved in the community and I've heard great things about his services.Karen, his wife was incredible, reassuring and empathetic to my partners anxieties even gave me props for taking care of him in the most sincere way. They got him in super fast and had the tooth out lickety-split. His pain was gone the moment it came out and he said he will absolutely be going back to see Dr. Wall in the future for his dental needs. Words I never thought I would hear him say! The kind that are compassionate and personable. He makes phone calls to check on my mother, he has been trying different things to control her pain, he is personable and simply cares.
