A month ago I was recommended that I book an appointment to have my lower wisdom tooth removed, purely as a precautionary measure. As I've had two removed before with no issues, and the dentist I saw at the time said nothing about any problems, I booked the appointment. I was called today and asked to come in an hour earlier, which I did. Between the time I got there and the time I actually saw the dentist who would be doing my removal, I waited a total of 50 minutes (40 in the waiting room, 10 in the chair.) The man who was in to perform the removal came off as very cocky and arrogant - When I mentioned about dental procedures I'd had back in Enlgand where I am from, he laughed and mocked it very openly to my face. It was then at this time that he mentioned about the actual risks involved in my procedure - Low risk of permanent nerve damage, swelling, a recovery time of up to a week - Which while I understand is a common thing, would have been excellent information to have know A MONTH AGO when I first made the appointment and then could have arranged for time off work. Naturally, I declined to have the tooth removed today. I will not be coming back to this dental office, and while I'm sure many of you have had good experiences with them, mine mean that I cannot in good faith recommend them to you.

So I had xrays and a deep cleaning done on Wednesday October 16th, and Bailey did an excellent job. She advised me on what kind of brush attachment I should be using for my electric oral b brush. I bought it, and I love it. The staff is always so friendly. The dentist was very thorough and he has a very pleasant personality. I've been a patient here for 14 years. Had my first cleaning after the regulations and rules were in place for COVID 19. I was welcomed straight away. The hygienist who did my cleaning was very sweet and friendly. I got my temperature taken, they do scan and take care of their patients. Was in and out pretty fast, even with x-rays and the Dentist looking at me. I love going here.

For the first time since the start of Covid 19 I had my teeth cleaned today. Needless to say there was some work for the Hygienist to do but everything was completed painlessly and with great professionalism. The room was isolated from the rest of the office, there was an air filtration system in the room and the Hygienist wore full PPE during the procedure. Prior to entering the room I was screened and my temperature taken so I am confident that every possible precaution was taken to minimize any infection to either the staff or myself.

Try this out for size, I am in pain, I live in Innisfil, I have no money and no credit cards, just off a divorce, wife took everything, including maxing out the credit cards, so I went to the hospital in Barrie and I told them I had a bad tooth and a swollen jaw and was in alot of pain and asked if they could help me fix the problem, all they did was give me a precription to help reduce the swelling, so I phoned every dentist in barrie and innisfil to see if they could help me saying I don't have any money but I will pay you back please help me. All say no. At this point I was at my wits end, I thought am I going to die because nobody will help me pull this bad tooth. So I expanded my search down to New Market phoning long distance to upper canada mall dental and talking to the owner which took time out of his busy afternoon to talk to me. I explained my problem, I said the usual I don't have any money but I promise I will pay you, please can you help me. He said ok come in on Sunday and I will take care of you and don't worry about paynment, pay me when you can, I was over joyed, here is a man that was going to come in on his day off to take care of my problem, well that was 15 years ago and guess what he is still getting my business today because he deserves it and I also got a new wife that was afraid to go to any dentist and she swears by him and I agree he is the best Of the BEST! How was that, you just don't get that kind of service anymore today, thats why we have to support these special people in our lives.Never mind a 5 star review, this dentist deserves a 10 star review in my books. I just keep adding to this review which is ok with me, so I have a sister that is afraid to go to a dentist period, it took quite abit of talking but she hit it off with Dr.------ he give her the 10 plus service that he always does, everybody's happy end of story. Now if you want the 10 plus service book early because he is in high demand, get it, got it, Good.
