I’ve been going to Doctor Sam for 10 years. I moved from Burlington to Markham but still make the trip twice a year to get our dental needs taken care of. The service here is exceptional and authentic. Dr Sam takes pride in his work and his clients benefit from it. The place is so well put together and its a welcoming atmosphere for my daughter, so much so that she never likes to leave, even if our family visits been over 2 hours! The staff on hand has always been top notch and friendly. There isnt enough good things to say about the care we receive at Dr Sams. Thank you!!

My first visit was excellent. The greeting at reception was pleasant. Followed up by another good morning, and pleased to meet you by the doctor. The facilities were full of modern technology, with a monitor on the ceiling over my chair so i watch the news during x-rays, and examination. The X-rays were posted right before my eyes and the staff answered any questions i had. This finished ahead of schedule. When the dental hygienist greeted me in the reception area, it was a familiar face. This was someone who took the time to remind me that we had met before at another office where she had looked after my teeth. This ice breaker conversation made me feel welcome and relaxed in a friendly environment which is great since we were in a dentist office after all. Over all it was a great experience. Went for my first appointment and was told I needed six 45-min appointments to deal with my issue (my issue was apparently very severe - a 9 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being most severe). Went to two other dentists who told me one 60-90 min appointment was enough. Got my issue resolved in one appointment with one of the other dentists. I'm not sure if this six-appointment diagnosis was accidental or intentional -- either way, I was and am wary of returning. I'm lucky to have a friend who's a dentist and who I consulted before continuing with the six appointments. Writing this here in case others don't have this luxury.

The dentists and assistants are all very helpful and communicative which is a HUGE plus for me. I thought I had a cavity but it was just a discolored old filling and they closed a gap in my tooth with a bonding procedure. Huge difference for not so much investment in time, effort, and cost.

This most recent time I went here was to get a second wisdom tooth out. Both times they always asked me if I’m doing okay throughout the procedure and they make sure I have enough freezing so I don’t feel a thing. Everyone here is always so friendly. What I like about this place is that if you go in with pain, they find out what is causing you pain and offer their advice to fix it. They don’t search for more abnormalities and try to get more money from you. I will be a lifelong patient of theirs for sure.

I've had cleanings done here by a few different hygienists and all of them seem good and courteous. Always on time and they seem to be well informed of your history prior to starting the appointment. It seems more advanced than my previous dentists office but then again, they are also pricier but I don't mind for the convenience and service. My 2.5 year old son’s first visit to the dentist was such a positive experience. The kids waiting room and kid oriented dentist room was very inviting. We saw Chantel who was amazing! She was very attentive, and really engaged my son through the entire process, letting him hold and touch all the tools. My son was nervous, but Chantel was able to make him feel so comfortable and able to get him to fully corporate in inspecting and cleaning his teeth. This was a pleasant surprise as all of his trips to get his hair cut, or the doctors office end up in tears, but not here!! Highly recommended for kids

The Mount Royal Dental Team are all Angels!! During Phase 1 of Covid, my Dad was in serious need of medical dental help and the Mt. Royal Team opened their doors and welcomed my Dad in mere minutes, even though they were already super busy and my Dad was not a regular patient. Incredibly friendly and professional, a very clean office and they took all precautions and safety measures to ensure everyone feels comfortable during COVID. This team is also hospitable, knowledgeable and compassionate and they really make you feel at home. Their follow-up was outstanding as well. I have gone to this clinic since I was a child before it was Mount Royal Dentistry. I was glad to see that Fran was still with them because I love her. I remember my first visit with the new dentist, and I had to get a cavity11 filled. I am so afraid of the needle that they use to numb your gums. It always hurt. I kept telling the dentist it was going to hurt and though I am sure she was wondering in her head why a woman my age was afraid of a needle, she patiently said it wouldn't hurt. She didn't make me feel like a child and i didn't hurt! All the previous times, the needle hurt like it was going to pierce through my cheek. O I trust this dentist as well as Dr. Sam. All the staff are great and friendly.
