Not the best experience. On my sixth check up Dr. Farahani's assistant discover I had a mercury filling in one tooth that I was not aware of. Dr. Ali had missed this the FIVE previous times he examined my mouth (as you know he tells patients mercury needs to be removed ASAP) . He could not explain how he missed it every time... Shortly after my wife was fired as a patient and I left willingly.

Dr Farahani was my saving grace. The office was exceptional, kind and informative. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and i immediately knew something bigger had to be done for my healing. After going to numerous tooth and gum specialists no one could tell me or even explain my sore bleeding gums. Plainly stated, I met Dr. Farahani only a short few weeks ago and he has already changed my life. To add context, I have sat in more dentist chairs than I can count on both hands. I have learned that if you need to get your health back on track, that you need to do your own research. Don't rely on conventional doctors to get you there. Recently I was getting a filling done by Dr. Ali and he asked me if it was okay if the procedure was watched by another (a student I'm assuming). He was discussing the procedures and products they use and said that most composite fillings contain, guess what, BPA! But not his. So if you avoid plastic with BPA in it, but your dentist is filling your mouth with BPA, that's unfortunate. I wish there were more medical practitioners around that understood and used natural medicine. Thanks Dr. Ali for giving us options!

I know I wasn't an easy patient because of my tiny little mouth and getting in there to place implants certainly was no easy task. Dr Farahani saved my life. I realize that may sound dramatic but I believe it to be true. He removed a badly infected root canal that had been poisoning me for decades, unbeknownst to me, that other dentists merely wanted to repair. That was followed by bone grafts and finally the placing of 2 ceramic implants and 2 crowns. At all times Dr Farahani took a holistic, comprehensive approach to my dental issues, explaining everything he was doing and why. I appreciate that he offers ceramic/non-metal implants, alternatives to amalgam fillings and a more natural approach to dental hygiene. He is up to date in everything science and technology has to offer his patients. His staff is exceptional; friendly and professional. The office itself is a beautiful setting with a peaceful, calm atmosphere. I travel 6 hours round trip for my appointments with Dr Farahani and he's more than worth it. Dr Farahani is a deeply caring man, a perfectionist and a highly skilled dentist. I am thankful I found him.

My experience with Dr. Farahani has been a very positive one since meeting him. I arrived an hour early and sat and waited for my appointment on his front porch. He came outside with a colleague and introduced himself. He’s a very personable man. I was at ease after how I was greeted and treated throughout the whole process from consultation to my after treatment. It’s not your typical dental office or visit by any means. Dr. Farahani and all his assistants are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable and forthcoming with any concerns or questions I had. They are very thorough welcoming you as a new patient. They day of my surgery, I was very relaxed. The care they provide and the precision of their team work is second to none. Dr. Farahani was very communicable during my procedure as was his assistants. I had little to no pain after my procedure. I was able to drive home which is 2.5 hours away. As long as you follow their protocol, you shouldn’t have any problems. I was in Dr Farahani's dental chair again on Aug 6th for the final phase of our 3 year journey of intervention and restoration. The 1st year we saved the good teeth. 2nd year we removed all mercury filings. This 3rd year we removed 2 highly infected teeth and all the dead roots. Now the next step is cosmetic to restore all that was lost. After the 1st restoration of the good teeth on my left side - top & bottom my health was DRASTICALLY improved. The chronic sinus infections, general malaise & lack of vigor/energy dissipated. With the left side also restored and cavities cleaned up, the BOOST to my health was greatly enhanced. In the 2nd year after the metal was removed, I couldn't believe the MAGNANIMOUS increase of health, vigor & well being. The inflammation I'd suffered from since my teens (mainly in my knees) dissipated and again the ENERGY & LIFE FORCE I gained returned me back to the strength of my teens - even better!! This 3rd visit to extract the infected teeth and dead roots gave me an IMMEDIATE reaction that I had not experienced before. I hadn't had much to drink the night before and only about 2oz of kombucha before my appointment at 10am. Immediately after Dr Farahani extracted the 1st infected tooth, I felt my bladder fill a little. But after he extracted the 1st dead root and every other subsequent to that, I felt my bladder FILL right up. With the last infected tooth extraction, my bladder filled to over full so that I could barely hold it...Dr Farahani had to hasten his pace of suturing so I wouldn't have an accident. Apparently the infection was so great it was affecting my organs - to which the roots of the broken teeth has been attached to (and other I'm sure). It's been a month and again I am astounded at the VAST IMPROVEMENT in my health & also my bowel, bladder & skin elimination channels. I used to retain fluid in my calves due to the poor function of my kidneys because of the infection but since the extractions, my calves are now MUCHLY improved and pretty much back to normal in regards to no fluid retention. I was hesitant at first about the extractions as I didn't realize the SERIOUS health effects the infection was having on my entire body & body systems. Dr Farhani gave me the room (over the last 2 years) to come to terms and UNDERSTANDING of this and when I was ready, we went ahead. That also applied to the monetary aspect of all my treatment. He understands we don't all have thousands of dollars readily available and will work within our budgets. He is a PHENOMENAL Dentist, highly knowledgeable, skilled and EXPERIENCED and also a BEAUTIFUL human being. I have been going to Dr Farahani for almost 10 years now and have had nothing but great experience. I love how he and his staff take their time to listen, to answer questions and take time to educate me on procedures and treatments. I never feel like just a number going there. They always make me feel and treat me like a whole person and not just a patient. IN MY OPINION: I Would have liked to see a detailed video posted on his website of Dr. Farahani himself actually performing a mercury filing extraction in his office so I could compare beforehand his possible variant to the IAMT recommended procedure. He is also up on the most modern methods of implants (I have 5 and his are the BEST). I cannot say enough good things about my first visit to Dr. Farahani! From the moment you enter the office until the moment you leave the staff are focused on you and your comfort. The appointment was the most in depth dental exam I've ever experienced with detailed explanations of every radiograph and photo. I loved the use of essential oils during my cleaning and all the helpful hints offered by the hygienist. It took some time for me to find a dentist who honoured the holistic way of treatment I preferred but the wait was well worth it and evermore amazing, the cost for me as an uninsured patient was well below what I had expected, especially for the length of the appointment. Oh and no exaggeration of problems leading to costly treatment - this dentist is honest and suggested reparative work be delayed until truly necessary - love this guy!

I was very dissapointed with my experience with Ali and staff....Let me say I have waited a year to write this review so I made sure I knew what Im talking about...I went to 2 others dentists for their opinion and they both gave me the same opinion...SAVE THE TOOTH!!!! I went in to this place to get a tooth fixed....It was very saveable what Ive been told by the other 2 dentists....And it was saved by one of them....Ali wanted to take 3 teeth out and refer me to a surgeon....I called back and told them after that I was told that is not my only option....The employee at Ali's told me I was miss diagnosed and that they were sorry....I asked for Ali to call me back, I never heard back from him at all, called a second time to talk to him about it and would not take my call...I basacially paid 260.00 to be mis diagnosed by Ali...He did not call me back and I feel he owes me back my money, because he did nothing for me....All he was looking to do was send me to a surgeon and rip 3 teeth out (that did not need to come out) so he could get referal money from the surgeon....I would rather go to a street dentist in a third world country then to go to this place....Maybe small claims should be next to hold him accountable being that he avoided calling me back...

My experience with dental work done in childhood was not positive, which evolved into a dread of hearing and experiencing a dental drill as an adult. While I kept up with dental appointments there was always a strong sense of apprehension associated with any upcoming procedure. By the age of 56, I had also lost 3 molars, 2 to failed root canal procedures and 1 that I had chosen to have pulled in order to avoid another root canal. In November of 2016, I had received an update from my local dentist stating a 4th molar would either have to be pulled or have a root canal due to cracked-tooth syndrome symptoms. It was at this time that I did a "Google" search on the internet and found Dr. Farahani's holistic office in Stratford, In my first appointment and consult, Dr. Farahani explained that my molar exhibiting the cracked-tooth syndrome had a good chance of healing once the silver amalgam filling in it was removed. Learning that large silver amalgam fillings can actually crack a tooth over time was a revelation to me but the detailed explanation I received gave me hope that I could retain the tooth. Electing to proceed, I chose a gold filling as a replacement material for the affected molar given the longevity of the material. Given my dread of the dental drill, I was highly impressed, as well as highly relieved, with how fast, precise and efficient Dr. Farahani is with a drill. My three silver amalgam fillings were out within what seemed like seconds. This appointment also included a "no pressure" conversation with Dr. Farahani on the choices available to me if I wanted to address the gaps in my mouth left from my 3 missing molars. With the relationship-based approach to dentistry that underpins Dr. Farahani's practice (feeling listened to, detailed feedback and the opportunity to make informed choices) I booked a consultation to receive more information on dental implants. Following this consult, I decided to commit to the plan Dr. Farahani had recommended: a bone graft (due to the fact that one of my molars was lost when I was a teenager, with resulting bone loss over the years), a gum graft and 3 ceramic dental implants. As my first appointment approached in March/17, my life-long dental phobia/apprehension grew. I had elected to be awake and alert through the procedure, However, Dr. Farahani patiently answered all of my questions, including last minute ones that I forwarded to him via e-mail. During the appointment, I received ample freezing, detailed verbal overviews of each step and an opportunity to see the (wondrous) bone and gum grafts Dr. Farahani and his staff made from my own blood. Another detail I found fascinating was that the drill used to position dental implants sounds nothing like the average dental drill - it runs at a much lower frequency and did not trigger my typical conditioned response of high anxiety that arises at the sound of a drill. Following the placement appointment, I had to wait 6 months for the bone regeneration process to create the needed new material to properly support the two implants in my bottom jaw. My crowns were successfully placed in early October and I'm pleased to share that I'm thrilled with my new mouth and how it works! In the last 6 weeks I can confirm that my molar that was exhibiting cracked-tooth syndrome symptoms a year ago is now fully healed and is no longer sensitive to cold or heat, I'm chewing my foods in a balanced way, there's less wear and tear on my front teeth and I have no chewing issues whatsoever. I am extremely pleased with the results of the extensive dental work completed by Dr. Farahani over the last six years. On my first visit to Dr. Farahani, I had many amalgam fillings, a broken back tooth and a crown at the back that was broken yet again. To replace the amalgam fillings, Dr. Farahani used state-of-the-art techniques to minimize mercury being absorbed back into my system. The continuous breakage of my back crown was symptomatic of a misaligned bite. About four years ago, I came to Dr. Farahani to have my mercury fillings and root canals removed. My mouth was a heavy metal dumping ground! I was aware of the connection between mouth health and chronic illness in other parts of the body, and I had reason to be concerned. The discovery of a breast lump that year was my motivation to begin extensive research into all of the ways I could improve my health. I had two holistic medicine practitioners diagnose me with heavy metal toxcity. Close to 65th years young, I had lived with a mouthful of silver fillings most of my life...I believe the nodules on my thyroid were the result of trying to filter the heavy metals in my mouth (noticed my teeth wearing down with time)and the chlorine of tap water, high fish consumption, etc. The lack of energy and mobility issues I attributed to normal aging. I had a "Sinus Lift Procedure" by Dr Farahani and his wonderful kind staff. They drew blood from my arm & spun it in a centrifugue that separates the red & white blood cells and the platelet rich plasma. I was sedated and once the root canal tooth was removed, calcium chips and the platelet rich plasma was injected back into the tooth cavity to help speed the healing process.The whole procedure was over in a couple of hours with little or no pain and actually I felt very energized from my added platelets. I would have no problem doing this again. They are the best!

After two orthodontic treatments that lasted years, once in my teenage years and once as a young adult, I found myself needing braces once again. As a Mother of three young children, the prospect of having to add caring for braces every day to my busy schedule and additional frequent dental appointments was very unappealing. However, I was determined to use braces instead of more invasive procedures such as crowning teeth to solve my "clicking jaw" issues and my dreadful clenching and grinding that happened both during the night and during the day. I began an orthodontic treatment with a dentist near London and after a few months I was completely disheartened. Not only was the treatment uncomfortable and inconvenient, but progress was not being made. I decided to try something different - the neuromuscular approach to correcting a bite/ occlusion gone wrong. Dr Farahani completed a very thorough examination and he and his caring team explained in detail how my years of grinding had worn down my teeth significantly, and how trying to "extract them out" with braces could not restore the efficiency of my chewing and biting due to too much vertical loss. The equipment and measurements that were used to track my current jaw position and my progress over time were not only fascinating, but profoundly encouraging - I could feel the difference in my bite and comfort level and confirm it with my decreased "stress" in how my teeth worked together on the screen. My questions were all carefully answered and I felt confident moving forward. After a few months of appointments, I proceeded to have my teeth crowned while maintaining as much of my own teeth/ enamel as possible. I haven't looked back! No pain, no discomfort, and my bite feels so natural, I forget that I had dental work done. I am very grateful to the professional and dedicated care Dr Farahani and his team provided. I would do it all again in a heartbeat to enjoy the smile and the lack of clicking and grinding/ clenching issues that I once had.

Over the last three years, I received much dental work from Dr. Farahani with excellent results. I was 62 years old and my mouth was full of mercury fillings. My teeth were starting to crack and some teeth were no longer fixable. I knew I had to do something and get help from someone other than my current dentist. I did an internet search and found Dr. Farahani who takes a holistic approach. I found Dr. Farahani to be professional and a skilled dental surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and uses the latest techniques which have proven to be the best practice in dentistry. I have had all the mercury removed from my teeth, crowns applied, a few implants and gum reconstruction done. I breezed through all of these with minimal discomfort. I recently had receding gum reconstruction done for 8 teeth, all at one time. I was very anxious, but Dr. Farahani and his excellent staff explained the procedure as we went along and it went so well. AlloDerm was used instead of using tissue from the roof of my mouth. Recovery was easy as I followed the protocol and had no pain associated with the procedure. Dr. Farahani is a compassionate man and has genuine concern for his patient. He called me at home after several procedures to check up on how I was doing. His service is a comprehensive dentistry practice which in the long-term is the best way to go. I feel confident that I made the right choice and my mouth looks amazing and I feel awesome.

The atmosphere was nice. People were friendly. Parking was not good and the the message I received was awful. It lowered my self esteem (one I had worked so hard to reach the point to care about me). I went into this office an "8" and left feeling a "1". I went home and cried. I found another facility that helped me with my mouth and I am so thrilled with my results!!! I was uplifted by them and not once did I feel less than when I went in.

Bev, the office admin secretary was exceptional right from the start and she was always a pleasant voice on the end of the phone.She worked hard to get my appt moved up because my health crisis was time sensitive. Last year right before CoVid I had all four wisdom teeth pulled (I am 45, so later than most) and shortly thereafter I began an implant procedure for an extracted tooth in the upper jaw. The surgery was miraculous- around 4 months total turnaround time to my implant getting installed - Dr farahani uses a cutting-edge ceramic post technology that takes 4 months off the timeline of typical implant surgery. After quite a lot of work done last year, my mouth has never worked better. Before coming to Dr. Ali Farahani, I had a list of health issues accumulating- that no one could find answers for. We decided to pull 2 root canaled teeth and almost instantly my health began reversing back to a functioning state. There was infection in those teeth gone undetected for many years that was obviously causing a problem to my system. All of a sudden the quality of my life became restored almost overnight- and every issue I had struggled with dissappeared .which included: not being able to eat almost all foods at that point or else i would break out in rashes all over my body which would turn to wounds and remain opened wounds for long periods of time and would sometimes develop infection. I had a small list of foods i could safely eat- i didnt like to sweat because the wounds and skin would get irritated and even water on the wounds was painful, when cleaning the skin. It was originally diagnosed as ezcema and then later the diagnosis became "unknown". There has been no rashes no wounds and no reactions to food since my dental surgery. The surgery itself was pretty painless. No bruising, little to no swelling - and my recovery was a breeze. I have never felt so well taken care of, and educated in about dental procedures as I have been here. I travel from Windsor to Stratford for all of my dental work now, happily. The moment I first walked into this office, I knew everything was going to be o.k. I was going to find the help that I needed. And that is exactly what happened. It was unbelievable how taxing an infection in a root canaled tooth can be and I experienced this firsthand and suffered many years with no answers. What a life changing experience it has been to have the quality of my life restored. I can enjoy foods again, physical activity, my focus is better, emotions and thoughts are in a better place, getting good sleep at night and waking up refreshed. I shutter to think at what my life would look like right now without this surgery. I had my surgery February 2018 and life has never been the same- not even 6 months later!!!! Wow.
