I've been taking my children to this dental office since last 6 years and I have had no complains so far! The Dental Assistant staff is awesome and they do a great job on cleaning and keeping all records up to date. I had a dental emergency and Dr. Solomon took me in without any hesitation, fee was minimal (only for dental emergency treatment). For regular cleaning and record keeping they charge a good amount (like every other dental office). As my children lost their dental insurance policy (due to my work changes) the office subsidized the payment for us, which is very much appreciated. At least I can continue bringing my children for their regular checkups! I would recommend this place to anyone having little kids as the staff is super friendly and supportive.

I had a terrible fall in Orlando, FL last month while attending a convention with the company I work for... A full on face plant which costed me my 2 front teeth among other injuries. I needed 2 root canals, which Dr. Solomon pulled off with ease, he was very patient and gentle considering I'm a big suck lol And yesterday I had the 2 crowns put in which Dr. Solomon, Jana and his team perfected!! Avoid avoid avoid. Scam artists. Everyone I know who went to this dentist eventually left after they figured out that, for this team, profit comes well before quality care. Beware, they will check your insurance policy and lie to you to get more money. None of my family grinds our teeth, but somehow we were all told we needed mouthguards. Convenient that that suggestion came about as soon as it was covered, all within the same month! They are rude and price gouge for non-covered procedures too. They will subtlety lower your esteem to attempt to charge you for cosmetic treatments. One assistant would not stop telling me about the "gap" between my two front teeth in a very judgemental tone and how they could fix it. I don't have a gap! It was just silly lol. We thought this was a well-meaning dentist at first, but I promise you that care never came first for us. Pay attention and you'll find the same. I recommend Queensbury Dental instead. They are incredibly kind and offer fantastic care. Avoid this place if you value your health and your wallet.

They have the best staff working for them, I've never seen a miserable person at the front desk ever. I have the best Dental Hygienist, Stacy, who is more than that I feel she is like a friend, and has even given me a hug during difficult days. Dr. Kazdan is the best, he won't do anything to your teeth, just because, like a lot of dentists out there. He'll only do what is required when it is required, and has the best smile ever. That office is full of great personalities and very warm, friendly people. I highly recommend it. My daughter had an exceptional experience with Dr. Kazdan. She was comfortable and at ease. In the past at another dental office; hygienists have been rough and when receiving a cavity filling she complained a lot of pain and how she could still feel everything because the freezing hadn’t kicked in yet. However, Dr. Kazdan and associates created a PHENOMENAL environment. She had no pain and actually enjoyed going to the dentist. After 10 years we finally had a good experience. I highly recommend this office. Lovely environment, the ladies at the front desk were so wonderful and efficient. Will be moving the whole family to this office.

My crown met a big problem this year. Since my tooth had root canal before and it is the last tooth in the back, it left only a small top which makes the crown installation very difficult. Dr. Solomon helped me to negotiate with the crown lab and made me a new free crown, and found a way out to reinstalled it. He would explain the details to me patiently every time. Thank you so much Dr. Solomon. I finally got a heathy tooth for the Christmas meal! Lol

My wife and I have gone to Oakville Place Dental for going on 5 years now. Over this time the experience has been great. The team here definitely operate as a well oiled machine. From the front desk greeting you as you arrive, the assistants and hygienists who take care of the little things (sunglasses for the lights, TV channel, tips and tricks where appropriate, etc...) in addition to their professional responsibilities makes it easy to come back. In terms of dentists I know there are two in the practice but have only ever gone with Dr. Steven Solomon though I assume Dr. Kazdan is of the same ilk. Dr. Solomon has a great chair manner, is happy to explain the situations as he goes along and works well with his staff. Overall I would recommend them if you are in the market for a new dentist.

I have been seeing Dr. Solomon since I was in college over 25 years ago, and even though I live in Toronto now, I still come back to Oakville for my dentist appointments. When you find a dentist that you trust, it's worth travelling a bit for it, and the staff are all so fun, friendly, and helpful. I always feel like I'm getting a fair assessment of what needs to be done, and my teeth look great. Best of all, they are good at making sure I feel as little pain as possible - people talk about root canals like they are the worst thing ever, but I'm like, "meh - barely felt a thing.". I was a patient of Dr. Sullivan’s for 3 years and not once have I had a good experience. I had 2 crowns put in by him and since switching dental practices, I have been advised to get both replaced. Both crowns are very noticeable and do not look realistic. I went in to get one replaced and he was insistent that nothing was wrong with them even though you could clearly see the adhesive and because they are so poorly done, my gums are constantly inflamed. He agreed to replace bother at no additional charge. He rushed the entire process and kept saying “I don’t think this needs to be fixed but I’m gonna do it because I want you to be happy.” He also was saying “this is taking a lot longer than it normally would but I want to do a good job for you so you are happy.” These comments made me feel as though I was a bother to him and also made it seem like normally, his goal isn’t to do a good job. During this procedure, his assistant made several rude comments. She asked me my age and then said “wow, I’m almost 50 and my teeth aren’t even as flat as yours”. I just ignored these comments cause I knew that after I got these crowns fixed, I wouldn’t be back again. When they were putting the crown in place, they didn’t even check to see if my mouth was still frozen (which it wasn’t) and then forced the crown in place which was extremely painful. Dr.Sullivan forced floss between my teeth multiple times causing me to bleed and my eyes to water. Once he realized how much pain I was in, he finally stopped and apologize and said “ I though you were still frozen”. This was a very traumatizing experience and I am contemplating paying $1,500 out of my own pocket to get it fixed by a different dentist. This is just one example of bad my experience was at this practice. I have a few family members that had to get work redone. I am so happy that I left this practice- I no longer dread going to the dentist.

I have been a client at this dental office since I was a teenager and they have provided excellent service to me to this date (in my late 30s now). Today I am inspired to write a review for this place as time and time again the Dentists and staff at this office have come through to help me especially when in urgent need. Last night a piece of a wire of my permanent retainer came loose and was causing me great discomfort whereas it was painful to chew food or even talk. This morning I called my orthodontist for help and they were not able to take me in until Sept. 21 and advised me to call my dentist - which I did. Ashanti (apologies if I misspelled her name) at the front desk went above and beyond to help by speaking personally with Dr. Solomon to explain my situation and Dr. Solomon did not hesitate to take me in on short notice the same day with in hours despite Orthodontics not being his focus of practice. When I went in, he knew exactly what to do to help me and did just that within 10 minutes and helped relieve the painful discomfort. Moreover he did not even bill me. Dr. Solomon was also the only Dentist working that day which showed how be took time out of his busy schedule to help me. His actions speak for his character and the level of service his dental office provides. This place is a gem for the town of Oakville. Thank you Ashanti for your compassion in understanding the discomfort I was in and thank you Dr. Solomon for your selflessness in your help.

I have been seeing Dr. Solomon for over 14 years and cannot say enough good things about him and his practice. He has demonstrated to me that he is incredibly knowledgeable and has always provided me with excellent dental care. Whenever I have needed work done he is careful to explain the entire procedure and give me options (where possible) for treatment. I never feel pressured into work that I don't need and I always feel that he has my best oral health interests in mind when he makes a recommendation. He is able to make crowns right at his location so it eliminates the need for multiple visits - it all gets handled in one visit - VERY convenient. Dr. Solomon's practice is located inside Oakville Place which is very handy and it is a very welcoming environment with tv's in the treatment rooms and big comfy chairs in the waiting area. All of the staff, from the women at the front desk to the hygenists, are incredibly nice and very helpful. Many of them will greet me by name as I arrive- which is very impressive! They are able to direct bill my insurance company so I don't need to mess around with filling out extensive forms etc. and my appointments are always on time which is much appreciated when I am fitting in an appointment over my lunch. Overall just great service. I highly recommend Dr. Solomon at the Oakville Place Dental Office for anyone looking for the best dental care.

Let me start off by saying that I’ve been going to Dr. Solomon for longer than I can remember, and secondly, that I have terrible gums and teeth! My mouth is a wide assortment of cavities, fillings and crowns. I’ve even had gum surgery! I feel like their office is my home away from home as I spend a lot of time there! Why the history? So you know my opinion is well founded and based on multiple years of service and not just a random one-off bad experience that someone may have had. I can say with confidence that Dr. Solomon and his team are exceptional! He’s never pushy when it comes to major work, explains different scenarios, options and outcomes; and always takes the time to answer all my technical questions. Oh, and I almost forgot, I don’t even live or work close to the office! I used to but haven’t for a long time now. I still go out of my way because I am happy and satisfied with him and all the staff. I highly recommend this office!!!

The ladies at the front are the worst in any dental office in Oakville. Rude, obnoxious and outright unprofessionals. That Dr Solomon is a weirdo too. Dr Kazdan seems ok, but this office is nightmare now to visit. With the parking spaces all under construction, good luck making it to this office on time for your appointment. And if you are 2 minutes late, expect to hear OUT LOUD from the unprofessional ladies at the front. However, if the hygienist or dentist is 20 minutes late, there are no apologies!! Go figure these so called professionals!!!

I went to this place based on Google reviews. Should have known the 5 stars reviews were paid reviews. The 5-stars reviews and my personal experiences are very different. DO NOT BE FOOLED. This practive is not recommended. 1. The hygenists are super friendly and knowledgable, so if you need your teeth clean, this could be your option abeit it's EXPENSIVE at this place. 2. The rate here begins at higher than average and will go through the roof if you need more than just cleaning. 3. With the hygenists aside, Dr Solomon will treat you like a sheep in an assembly line. He will jumps from patient to patient, working reckless at a fast pace without a care if you're hurt, or scratched up. Each time you visit him, he'd asked you "what are we working on today? Was it the left or the right?" Wait, shouldn't you know? I don't think he even look at or review the chart prior to working on me. He won't know what was done one you previously if you asked him or refrence about it. Incident like applying freezing supposely to the gum ended up numbing the whole side of my face! Never had experience like this with any other dentists. Beside the memory laps, his reckless pace leave you bruised and batterred. I think a veteranry treat a dog better then how he had treated me. His workmanship (filling and crown) is indicative of his fast pace - very poor. As the saying goes, "HASTE MAKE WASTE". 4. Dr Solomon told me I had gum disease and booked me an appointment with Dr Kazdan for a consultation. In the consultation with Dr Kazdan, I was charged about $400 to be told that I had gum disease! Thanks alot. 5. The rate for the service is high here and we hope that we get what we paid for; NOT SO. Furthermore, you are never told exactly what the cost so you're not sure what you and you insurance ends up paying until you start paying after the work's done. 6. Finally, I would not recommend this place, and be wary about the 5 stars review here. Try for yourself and prove me wrong. Good luck.

I cracked my tooth over the weekend and was in a significant amount of discomfort. I was seen by Dr Kazdan early Monday and given antibiotics and an appointment on Thursday to have it extracted. Everyone is always super nice at the clinic, from the admin (especially Bella!!) to the hygienists and the doctors! Dr. Fortino took my tooth out without incident and I am no longer in pain! Yay! End to End really good service, professional, efficient. I have had a different hygienist almost every time I have gone but to me it doesn't matter because each of them have always been great. The receptionists are friendly, quick and helpful. I like how they leverage technology for their operations. Love that they submit everything to my health insurance including the portion not covered that needs to be sent to my husband's insurance.

My daughter had two teeth filings (Dr. J K billed 4 surfaces/teeth in that filling) in 2017. In Oct 2019, the same two teeth, same spots had the same issue again. Within this period of time, no cavities on any other teeth. Dr. J K removed the old filling, dig bigger and fix them and bill my insurance 4 surfaces again.... Of course the claim is declined as the insurance won't cover 4+4=8 surfaces within 3 years' period of time. I have to pay from my own pocket even basic dental services (cleaning, filling etc.) are 100% covered by my plan. My family have been with this dentist office for years, I never check the billing details and have doubt on the dentist' work. However, since this incident happens, the quality of the dentist work and accuracy of the billing are deeply in question. Trust is broken and lost.

I had high hopes given how nice the front desk staff are and how nice the office is, but I have never been more disappointed. Both my sister and I have had fillings done by Dr. Soloman that either had to be fixed by the other dentist in the office, or by our new dentist after we switched offices because the fillings literally popped out or broke while flossing! My mom had a similar experience with a crown she had done by Dr. Soloman completely popping off while she was using her water pick. Dr. Soloman also mixed up my patient chart with someone else on multiple occasions. I would not recommend Dr. Soloman.

I always trust them as they are good at handling even the minute toothaches with utmost care. When you know such a good dentist for years, it's highly helpful in case of emergencies as you don't have to waste time searching for another clinic. I never go back to this office! I did a superficial restoration for two adjacent teeth and had to go back to the office three times for adjustment of the contacts, polishing and height of the filling. After that, I had sensitivity for over 3 months and ended up removing and refilling the same teeth at a specialist office. The doctor was very careless in preforming the work and cut my lips a few times. I still may need to do a root canal due the cracks occurred to my teeth after the restoration. I still do not get how on earth a simple filling should lead to such a pain!
