Dr. Bighiu Rodica at Oakville North Dentistry has been our family dentist for a long time. She is kind, experienced, knowledgeble and very professional. Her office is extremely clean, I like the fact that they invested in the latest technology, like digital xrays with extremely reduced radiation, and intraoral digital cameras that she uses to show us on the screen images of the problem areas that we are not aware of. Dr. Bighiu had to pull one of my teeth and she used my own blood stem cells and growth factors to build the bone around my new implant. Highly recommended dentist and practice.

I have had the hyperactive gag reflex since I was a kid, and it was almost impossible for my previous dentists to work on me. Few years ago I’ve switched to Dr. Bighiu and, using the nitrous oxide sedation, she performed “miracles”. Dr. Bighiu is hands down, the most skilled, gentle, and patient dentist I have ever been to. Recently, I had 2 dental implants with crowns done by her and the quality of the work is outstanding (also the lab she’s using did a great job). Highly recommended!

This dentistry surely doesn't know how to follow up with their customers as they were ask to get an orthodontist for my step daughter and have a 2nd crown done for myself. Neither were followed up with us as I am no longer doing business with them. Even the day guards I purchased got warped in less than a months time as they are garbage now.

I've been very happy few months ago when friend of mine told me about Dr. Bighiu and her holistic approach. I was very pleased that her and her staff successfully accommodated my daughter who needed an urgent intervention due to her medical condition, despite Dr. Rodica's very busy schedule. The clinic is extremely well equipped with the latest in technology. I' ve had many dentists over the years but I've never been in any that is so well equipped. I was very impressed with the screen and the ability that I can clearly see what was wrong with my daughter's teeth as the camera magnifies the oral cavity. Dr. Rodica provided very thorough explanation of everything that is going on and presented us with options. Both my daughter and my son were impressed with Dr. Radica's caring attitude and gentle hand. My daughter loves the anesthetic that she uses as it works very well and it wears off very quickly as oppose to have numb cheek all day long. My kids love that Dr. Rodica is very fast and efficient. Our visit with Maureen, Dental hygienist who is foreign trained dentist as well has proven to be another great appointment as she was very thorough and gave us a lot of advises, definitely way above and beyond. Overall, clinic is wonderful! Highly recommended!!!!

I have been with my previous dental clinic over 10-year in Oakville. Last year, Dr. Bighiu has just opened her new dental office that is located very close to my home. As I know, there are only a small number of holistic organic dentists in Ontario. Dr. Rodica Bighiu is one of them. May 2016 is my 1st visit their new office as a new patient. I want to see what makes it different from other general dental clinic. Their clinic is well-equipped with newer technology machines and much less radiation. It is a very nice and welcoming place. Dr. Rodica Bighiu has done a great job to examine my teeth and give me some great advices. As I have had a few of bad experiences with teeth cleaning and the gum line filling for exposed root surface was not bonded well after a few months, Dr. Bighiu suggested that I tried one of gum line filling to test the tooth if it was able to bond well. Then I could consider to do more. Dr. Bighiu did a great job. In a couple of months, I did the rest to refill the gum line for the other teeth exposure the roots. I also ordered a night guard from her. OMG, the nightguard is the best material. It has a nice clean look. I was impressed when I saw it. I feel so comfortable when I am wearing it especially I have a kind of unusal bite. My old nightguard has changed the color after few months. I have used this NEW NIGHTGUARD from Dr. Bighiu for at least 8-9 months. It still looks the same no color changed. I love it so much and I am telling everybody. The best nightguard I ever have. Staff in their dental clinic is very nice and friendly, like Niurka and Emilla. The newer holistic hygenist also did a great job for my teeth cleaning. I have no hesitation to recommend any friends and clients to them. Big thumb up to Dr. Rodica Bighiu!

Dr. Rodica Bighiu was always professional and kind and I was very happy as a client. I was terrified before this recent procedure, but she was very careful in the way she worked to make no damage to the bone during the extraction, she cleaned all the infection, and she explained me everything that she was doing, which reassured me. I was very surprised to have such a fast recovery after the extraction, having almost no pain at all in the following days. I highly recommend Oakville North Dentistry. At the beginning of the pandemic, my molar fractured. I knew it meant it would need to be pulled and I did want a ceramic implant as I'm sensitive to metals. I was looking for a holistic dentist who would not use metals. Although I was not her patient and she did not even know me, and was not open for business herself, she made all the arrangements to see a partner dentist who in an emergency could practice. He was able to smooth down the fractured tooth so that at least my tongue was not being cut up on the fractured tooth, until Dr. B could reopen her practice and pull the tooth. There is free parking and the handicap park is right in front of her place, so you just walk in. I like that as had a hip fracture and walking, etc. is difficult, esp. in winter. It is a very modern, clean office and I find the staff is friendly and accommodating. It ended up that I needed a lot of dental work and when Dr. B cannot handle your case for whatever reason, she readily sends you to a dental surgeon to do the work. Dr. B is knowledgeable and skillful. She educates you and explains what she is doing before and during the procedures. She has many tools in her repertoire including ceramic implants, ceramic white dental fillings, platelet rich plasma therapy and light lasers, which she used on me. But to me, a most important character trait is that she really cares. She makes you as comfortable as possible. You feel the love. TLC all around . She has always tried to accommodate me and this makes dental pain all the more bearable. I do so appreciate her and do not hesitate recommending her, esp. if you are looking for a holistic dentist who really cares and shows it.

I recently saw Dr. Bighiu in September 2020 to remove my final mercury filling. I was very nervous about removing this filling due to the fact that it was so close to the root of my tooth. The mercury filling removal left little room for error. Dr. Bighiu was very confident with the procedure and made me feel oh so comfortable. Even freezing the local area was a breeze... I never felt a thing. Once again, she used her state-of-the-art equipment to remove the mercury filling safely. She deposited a calcium liner material that very few dentist even offer so that my body can naturally rebuild and regenerate a stronger and new tooth structure within the cavity area. She is highly trained in the safe mercury filling removal protocol. Dr. Bighiu is IAOMT Certified and accredited. What a fantastic dentist. I give her a 10 star rating and she is worth the drive. Cheers to you Dr. Bighiu. I met Dr. Bighiu in 2016 & I love the fact that Dr. Bighiu has all the best equipment and skills to support your needs. Dr. Bighiu has a beautiful warm and caring personality. She also can offer a holistic approaches such as: Remineralizing your teeth in to reverse tooth decay. First of all if you have mercury fillings in your mouth, it is essential to have them removed and replaced by a qualified safe mercury removals method and she is certified to do so and there are very few dentists in Ontario that have the proper training but Dr. Bighiu is certified to safely remove the toxic mercury from your mouth & replace the mercury fillings with safe and friendly amalgams for your teeth. Also, I had a ceramic dental implant that looks fantastic. Dr. Bighiu offered me an option of going directly to the manufacturer (Excalibur in Oakville, Ontario) to ensure my dental implant has the perfect shape and colour match. Excalibur did a fantastic job as well - I went for 2 vists to ensure the size and colour were perfect and it was worth the drive because if your are spending quite a bit of money for your dental implant, you want to be totally satisfied and I am extremely happy with my implant. Dr. Bighiu is certified to do ceramic dental implants and the body accepts ceramic very well and there is no risk of cancer. Titanium implants have been linked to cancer so in my opinion, I would never go titanium .....it's not worth the risk. FYI - Go ceramic implants - they look great with no grey border, they are strong, the body likes ceramic and there are no possible toxic side-effects.

Dr Deniz has been my dentist for about 5 years now and I have had nothing but good experiences with him. He's gentle in his approach, and reasonable in terms of his recommendations. I used to see him up in Georgetown at his other location but his new place is much more convenient, and with equally high quality professional care and service. They are friendly, and good with their hands as well... the cleanings are minimally uncomfortable and they are cognizant of the time spent reclined with your mouth open, and the strain this can place on the jaw! After decades of seeing mediocre dentists that cared more about money than their patients I was incredibly happy to find Dr. Bighiu. Her and her team are genuine and truly care for their patients' well being, not just the bottom line. I specifically sought her out for her holistic dental approach and for her accreditations in safe mercury filling removal. I had a molar that had a deteriorating mercury filling and the tooth was more filling than it was molar. Every other dentist I had seen previously wanted to put a cap and crown which would eventually have led me to lose the tooth altogether and have the mercury continuing to poison my body as it degraded in the meantime. Dr. Bighiu on the other hand was able to safely remove the mercury in a high tech controlled environment, remove the additional underlying cavity that had formed under the mercury and save my tooth my building it back up with a safe, bio-compatible filling. I am beyond happy that she was able to save the tooth and I saved thousands by not having to get an implant. I look forward to her being mine and my family's dentist for a long long time to come.

One of the best, if not THE best treatment offered for dental problems that we lately encountered (me and my family). Very secure environment and not only during pandemic, high tech dentistry devices, very good professionals. You feel you are in good hands since you enter the reception area. You are well guided, the follow-ups are easy to book and confirm. No wasting time on a chair in the waiting room. The nurse is explaining everything ahead, you do not have bad surprises about any of the procedures. The hygienist and the doctor are there for you. In the next minutes of the consultation/treatment nothing counts for them other than you, the patient. The best solution and the most affordable one is discussed with the technician from the laboratory, if required. Nothing is left aside. And then the professionalism talks for itself: you don't feel anything during or after and you can even smile when everything is done. Don't hesitate to ask for an appointment. Dr. Bighu (or Dr. B. as everyone likes to call her) is very different from any other dentist I have been to. She is kind, caring, detail oriented and extremely thorough. She does not miss a thing! I suffer from anxiety and have never felt comfortable going to the dentist. My experience with Dr. B was very different from anything I experienced in the past. She has a very gentle mannerism and it is evident she cares deeply for her patients. Within minutes I felt very relaxed and comfortable. I had to have a tooth pulled on my second visit, but again, I was not nervous, nor did I feel the anxiety that usually comes with any of my dental appointments. Dr. B explains everything she is doing, and she genuinely cares about how you are feeling. Even after my appointment, they called to follow up and see how I was doing! That was a first for me as well! I have never recommended a dentist before, but felt given the amazing treatment I experienced, I had to give koodos where it was definitely due. Highly recommend Dr. Rodica Bighiu and Oakville North Dentistry At first the office staff and the office itself make a positive impression. I had been seeing the same dentist for 30 years, last summer I started have problems with a tooth and as I no longer hear well enough to make phone calls when at work I had requested to communicate by email.. The response was a no, we are not allowed to email. Not happy with that, once passed that, I learned that the tooth needed to be pulled and the infection to be cleaned out. I was referred to an Oral Surgeon. He had bad manner and did only enough to charge too much for his time of maybe 15 minute. However he did not clean out the infection. When I asked he just said Oh it will just come out on its own – IT DID NOT. So I did some research and learned that if I went through with the implant he recommended it may have caused even more health problems. This is what lead me to the Oakville North Dentistry. I have been very happy with the overall treatment of Dr. R Bighiu and her supportive Staff. They show a caring humane attitude that is severely lacking in the medical fields. Dr. Bighiu also went beyond by contacting my health care provider (notice I did not say doctor) so she had a good understanding of the health issues I have. I am very happy I did not just go along with the other dentist that believed if it’s OK for one person then it’s OK for everyone. (I just want to take your money)

My health has been badly affected and it has made my life miserable for years now. As you can imagine I am a VERY nervous patient.
