The staff at Elm Hill Dentistry are very friendly and helpful. Dr Mark Iacovino is very friendly and thorough. As a new patient, he completed a very thorough assessment of my teeth and gums. I was really impressed that he took his time and did not rush. He answered my questions patiently. I had two fillings on my front teeth and the colour was matched perfectly. All the necessary precautions were taken for safety during this time of COVID-19 to make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Iacovino and his team!

A great find for me and my family. Let's face it, going to the dentist usually isn't fun. Ok...it's never fun. But going to Elm Hill is the closest thing to fun that going to the dentist can be. On my first visits i was facing an emergency root canal and Dr. Iacovino went out of his way to make it happen during a very hectic time for him. Plus the whole team there is awesome. I used to hate the dentist. Now i like the dentist. But let me be clear--i hate going to the dentist. Or maybe I don't. This place has me so confused about how i feel. I mean, it's a dentist office, right? 5 out of 5 stars though--no confusion there. Go here.

I love the dental staff here. They always impress me with how quick and well done the work is. They also take the time to explain everything, instead of the “do it or all your teeth will fall out” some dentist do. My spouse is thinking about moving dentist after being impressed with how I was in and out with 15-20 minutes, with my mouth being unfrozen in less than an hour.

The staff at Elm Hill Dentistry are professional, welcoming, caring and organized. I was impressed at their social distancing measures, from the full clear screens separating the reception desk, Covid questionnaire, signs to sit/stand for social distancing, etc. They were incredibly on time so there was really no lingering or waiting around unnecessarily. Mary, who did my dental cleaning, was so thorough and friendly. She explained all the necessary changes in the procedure due to COVID. Dr. Iacovino was so calm, thorough, knowledgeable and helpful. The reception (Natasha and Catherine) were also really helpful in processing paperwork and booking my appointments. There is plenty of parking behind the building. The facility was super nice, clean and organized.

Kind, gentle and always care about how the patient is feeling. They always explain what they are doing prior to doing it. I have had bad experiences at dentists that kept me from going. The fear i have is on the extreme high. I had an emergency that required an immediate dentist and found Elm Hill. From coming through the door crying and scared they helped me ease the anxiety to the point i know go back every three months. They have made me trust them and are very gently with me. Dr. Iacovino is amazing and Natasha and Vanessa are the best hygienists I have every had. I normally don't give five star ratings as nothing is perfect...but if you can make me keep coming back to a dentist office then you deserve a five star. Treatment is usually very close to your given appointment. Dr. Iacovino & staff pay attention to individuals with medical issues; for example UV protective glasses for my eyes due to Macular Degeneration, gentle movement of treatment chair to prevent back pain. This dental office allows direct payment of dental insurance providers.

From the moment you walk in and are greeted from reception - to the assistant (?) That brings you in and preps you for Dr.Mark Iacovino to the man himself. I was there today with my son as well to see Dr. Iacovino. He was spectacular. He adjusted my bite, filing my tooth, and polishing my front crown. When he finished, it was as if he freed up my jaws to be able to chew well. When I got home and had dinner, I was delighted that I went to see him, because originally the visit was for my sons overbite. My son was very happy with his consultation too, as Dr. Iacovino recommended that he get braces soon, after taking a full set of ex-rays. We were very happy with our visit today, which was made even more welcoming, and enjoyable, because Dr. Iacovino's staff was amazing as well. This is the most thorough, detailed, knowledgeable and caring dental practice I have ever experienced. Explanations of reasoning for recommended diagnostics and therapies are immediate and accurate in my estimation via my training as a board certified veterinary dentist.The whole systemic health of patients is always asked about and considered which should never be overlooked and never is at Elm Hill. The practice is always calm, welcoming/warm-feeling (including those imbued by all team members) and clean with COVID-19 protective practices seemlessly integrated and followed. I have referred every family member and friend (who have all had similar experiences of professionalism and expertise) I know to this practice and will continue to as I trust Dr. Iacovino and his team implicitly and wholeheartedly which I unfortunately cannot say about all past dental experiences. Dental health is beyond important in overall health with periodontal disease dubbed “the silent killer”. Many studies document the oral health-systemic health links such that the best treatments and recommended proactive care possible as afforded at Elm Hill Dentistry not only preserves and benefits the oral cavity but translates into overall systemic well being and health and so longevity and quality of life.
