The dental hygienist did the best job anyone has ever done on my teeth, she actually cared about getting them as clean as possible. Wonderful experience with Dr. Pong’s office. Everyone is so caring and professional. All the covid19 measures are perfectly in place. Everyone has a smile on their face and you have the ease of mind that you’re in good hands. I am a recent patient and on my first visit I got my teeth cleaned and the result was far better than any cleaning I’ve done anywhere else. Also, I had a general check up done by Dr. Pong. He went over all the details about the current state of my teeth patiently and told me our plan for fixing some of the issues in the recent future. Definitely recommended.

I was a newcomer, with a new dental coverage earned at work. Dr. Pong performed the same root canal for a whole year, at the end assuring me that the permanent fill was in place. Next year, unfortunately all my second shift at work has to be laid off, and I was having no more dental coverage. I was called by dentist's office, insisting to come for a routine check. I explained that I am not able to afford that anymore. After two years, I had to go to U of T Faculty of Dentistry: my root canal fill was not permanent, my jaw was having gangrene, abscessed all teeth, and I had 9 extractions in the same day. I'd been this "intellectual's" patient in 2008.

This dentist is simply a level above the rest. I went to two dentists who did not dare to extract my wisdom tooth and referred me to dental surgeon because it's close to a nerve bundle. Dr Poon, my last hope, saw the x-ray and was confident he could do it with aplomb. When I extracted my right wisdom tooth a decade ago, it was a horrible experience. That xxx used brute force the entire time and it took 3 days for the wound to heal. Dr poon approached my extraction like Picasso, taking out the top tooth in 30 seconds! The bottom tooth was more challenging but he never resorts to brute force. He drilled and attacked the tooth from multiple angles to minimize the wound. Even though there was a slight complication, he decided to take a X-ray in the middle of surgery and replanned his line of attack to extract it successfully. That xxx dentist who encountered the same complication just resorted to heavier tools that created such a big wound. I could eat properly after 6 hours after Dr poon but I can't eat until after 3 days with xxx dentist. If you are referred to dental surgeon, I strongly recommed you look for Dr poon and you end up saving $ and waiting less at the end.

I was so scared to extract my wisdom teeth today, but Dr. Pong was so reassuring without actually telling me everything would be okay. His deftness and experience really comforted me and the whole procedure took less than an hour! I was so shocked because we had booked an hour and a half. I guess it was just in case. This office is beautiful and I felt safe as far as health and safety concerns go. Diana is very helpful at the front desk. My first cleaning here was fantastic. Carrie showed great knowledge and answered all my concerns and questions. I told her I prefer a more vigorous cleaning method/pressure and she delivered very well. I will for sure be telling my friends and co-workers about this dentist office. On a side note, Dr. Pong alleviated my left side tooth pain from another dentist’s work. I’ve been having this pain for months and my previous dentist couldn’t figure it out. All it took was correcting my bite. I am very impressed and thankful to be a new patient here! Highly recommend.

They keep the floor dry even right after the heavy snow. Because of the COVID, I didn’t visit the Dr. Pong’s office for a whole year. A broken metal wire attached to my teeth brought me to Dr. Pong for a quick fix. Because of the pandemic, the office made a lot changes accordingly. It’s totally a safe and sterile environment. Worry free ❣️ Carrie D. did such a great job cleaning my teeth. She tells you what’s next she is about to do then you know what to expect. You won’t be nervous???? it feels thoroughly clean and satisfying. I’ve told my family and friends to book with her???? I was amazed ????by Dr. Pong's trimming job on the loose end of the metal wire. It’s done in a blink, neat, clean and precisely. What a well trained delicate and firm hand????

The use of technology to confirm the appointments and to communicate when we arrived was ideal. The office was spotless. I felt like we were entering a surgical suite.
