Tom and his team have always been reliable and professional in every aspect of our dealings with them. We received excellent product advice from Tom and the install crew was always efficient and neat; cleaning up after each day. Their attention to detail with each install is far superior to the work done by other companies in our neighbourhood. Very disappointed in customer service. Owner is an arrogant bully toward women; I would never recommend this company. We spent over $30,000 here. We gave them a 2 week lead on when we needed delivery of our front door. When it got to the date my husband had to take time off work and rent a truck to pick up the door so it could be installed before the stone workers were scheduled to install the stone around it. When I ordered the door they didn't have a handle set in the finish that I wanted so the sales guy referred me to Barcres to purchase what I wanted. They sent the specs to Barcres however the specification didn't indicate the distance of the holes from the edge of the door so the door handle/plate was too wide and the door wouldn't close. As a solution they recommended cutting into the door stop to make room for the plate which would have interfered with the weather stripping. When I was talking to Mr. Cheney on the phone about this he all but called me a liar stating that none of his sales people would ever refer me to Barcres and that it was entirely my fault that the handle didn't fit. He interrupted me when I was talking and talked over me when I was trying to explain why his sales person referred me to Barcres in the first place. I was totally stunned by his aggressive and rude behaviour and ended up hanging up on him as he wouldn't let me get a word in. Hard to believe they are in business at all with his behaviour.
