Detailed Review Below: I have been going to Ocean Park Dental my whole life. I've had 5 cavities, multiple wisdom teeth removed, a chipped tooth, cleanings, and help with clenching my jaw at night - through all of these services the staff has been excellent. And believe me, I don't like going to the dentist. I've not once had to go back for any fixes on cavities - my bite feels the exact same afterwards and is it did before. I've also found that booking an appt. to be very easy and have sometimes gotten booked in within 48 hours of calling. I'm writing this review after some colleagues at work informed me of their general stigma towards dentists on the east coast. They told me horror stories they themselves or their partners had to endure due to the inexperience of dentists in the Maritimes. Things like a dentist making a mistake during a filling that would require a root canal to fix, but not having the training to perform a root canal, and making the patient drive to another clinic with freezing in their mouth so they could get the procedure done. That sounds absolutely terrible, and as a born and raised Maritimer I felt ashamed that they had to endure such a thing. Most of my colleagues talked about flying back either to central Canada or out of country for dental care they can trust. I recommended Ocean Park Dental to them because of the quality of service. My whole family goes here, and not one of us has had anything bad to say about any particular dentist or hygienist who works there. Seriously, the worst thing you have to endure is the hygienist telling you to floss more and stop smoking (which is good advice). If you are looking for a dental service that you'll be able to depend on for the rest of your life, I would recommend you try Ocean Park Dental. Dr. Ripley is superb. After trying for 4 days to get antibiotic for tooth infection with no luck due to every walk in clinic being closed or no doctors. I came here and was treated with respect, my concerns and pain was very quickly dealt with. The doctor there he was amazing as well as the rest of the staff. They took x-ray and confirmed what I knew. Got me in and out with prescription and even waved the x-ray fee knowing the current financial strain I'm under was just over and above amazing. I highly recommend this place and the people. If you read this be kind to them and thank them they deserve it.

I've been going to Ocean Park since I was an infant. I've had 4 wisdom teeth removed, braces on my top teeth, a few preventative fillings, bite plates molded/made - they always treated me well and I've had no problems. All the hygienists and dentists and administrative staff are friendly & listen to any concerns. The hygienists know me and the family by name and remember who we are/what we do, and really care about their patients. Highly recommend.

Because of past experiences, I am terrified of the dentist. I hadn't been in 10+ years until today. They were the kindest, friendliest people. They did not judge me or make me feel stupid. Everything was explained in detail, they made me feel comfortable, and gave me the choice on procedures that they suggested. I recommend them to anybody who is anxious about the dentist in any way.

Had my first dental appointment with Dr. Davidson last evening, I was extremely impressed with how well I was treated and how I felt upon completion of my appointment. I’ve seen a couple of dentists over the past few years all of whom I did not end up returning. Anxiety swept over me while walking into Ocean Park Dental; only because of the awful past experiences I have had with others; however, this changed. I was treated with such kindness and respect upon my entry by front staff and both Sheryl and Dr. Davidson both made me feel such relief during my visit. They are wonderful! I gave them a rundown of my experience with previous dental visits, expressed my concerns and then proceeded to discuss the current issues with my teeth. They listened to every word I said without rushing me, judging me, or making me feel uneasy in any way. While examining my teeth both Dr. Davidson and Sheryl continued to make me feel more at ease by taking the time to walk me through everything they were doing, why they were doing it and what they wanted to do going forward. (yes, I’m an adult chicken when it comes to dental) They were gentile; ensuring not to cause me any discomfort while declaring how valued I was as a patient and how they never want to make anyone feel uneasy in any way. They pride themselves on their ability to put someone at ease because they understand the feelings and wellbeing of others. This was proven to be exactly accurate in my opinion. After my exam we discussed my treatment plan. Dr. Davidson advised me of what he felt we could do to fix the issues with my teeth but not before ensuring my understanding of everything, the process that would be taken and I was ok with it all first. He also provided me with options to give me the opportunity to choose what I felt was best for me and took in my considerations as well. At that moment, I knew right there, I finally found my dentist. I felt so relieved and confident that I choose the right place to get my smile again. I can’t express how grateful I am for what they have done to relief my anxiety and continue to do. I know that I’m in great hands with Dr. Davidson and his staff and I can’t thank them enough for making me feel so relaxed and giving me the confidence I need to proceed with my dental treatments. Thank you so much, it means a great deal!

I have been coming here ever since I was a toddler. I've had dental work done as a kid and Ocean Park dental has always been amazing for me and my family. The dentists I've had over the years were all amazing, the receptionists as well as the dental hygienists could not be any better, especially Cheryl and Heather who have been there for as long as I can remember. I am so happy that this was the dental office my parents chose and now that I'm an adult I'll likely be going here for the rest of my life. They are amazing with children, I actually used to look forward to going to the dentist as a kid which is a weird thing to say but I did and I think this is because they made it a friendly experience and not a scary one. Even after getting my wisdom teeth pulled I still have nothing bad to day about them. Highly recommend this place for everyone, but especially for children.

I went here once in my late days for some emergency work on a holiday no less and they bent over backward to make sure I was able to get in the dentist I was currentlygoing to couldn't fit me in. I have now come here for every service since. The service and professionalism has been top notch. I will be going here from now on.

Ocean Park Dental has a office full of amazing people! Receptionists, Dental assistants, Dentists and Hygienist are all very kind and thoughtful. Having had a traumatizing experience with my previous dentist 15yrs ago, I cautiously sought out a new one! Never having any complaints or issues with my Dentist since!
