Friendly staff, timely appointment, right to the point and didn’t try and “up sell” me. I came in with a chipped tooth I was certain had a cavity and left with a 75$ bill for x-rays and a filing (not a filling). They said if I brushed and flossed the area it would stop the cavity from truly developing and to come back if needed. We don’t have a dentist so it was wonderful to have this option. We also don’t have insurance so cost was a concern and was happily surprised with the outcome. Would 100% recommend. I have had to use an emergency dentist in the past and was expecting pressure and judgment. There was none of either. Thank you SO much Fundy Dental staff!

After suffering with an abscessed tooth for 2.5 years because my dentist refused to pull it*. The staff at Fundy Dental examined my tooth, agreed that removing it was the best option, and quickly alleviated my suffering. 3 years later and I am still very grateful for the help that they gave me that day.❤ *My regular dentist wanted me to do a custom root canal and crown for $5000 vs $114 for removal. And he admitted that it was financial gain on his part driving that decision.

Since I only live a tad over a year in N.S., I didn't have the urge looking for a family dentist so far. In retrospect I should have, because yesterday I had to deal with a sudden tooth/gum issue. Luckily somebody recommended the Fundy Dental Walk-in Clinic to me, 50km away from my home. I called early p.m. and left a message on their voice mail. Merely half an hour later they called back and after explaining my predicament she offered to squeeze me in the same mid afternoon. After arriving at their office, due to Covid-19 measures I had to call them from their parking lot and just a minute later a very friendly young lady came out to pick me up and writing down my information. Within another very short period I was able to see a dentist. After a brief evaluation and an x-ray he was able to fix my fallen out tooth filling and cavity within a matter of minutes. I had feared that it was decaying gum around the socket, the way it had looked to me. From A to Z it was only 45 minutes in and out of their office, shorter than the driving time driving to them. I received very fast, excellent and super friendly service. Thanks heaps to all the people involved during my visit, you guys rock. I do highly recommend them. Well I would go back to them any time, however it is a walk-in clinic for emergencies, and I am not looking forward to having another emergency soon :-)

Nothing but praise for Fundy Dental Walk-In Clinic. My husband was unable to get in to see his own dentist for a tooth ache, so we were referred to Fundy Dental Walk In Clinic. They are walk in only..no appointments. The staff was friendly and professional. There are 3 dentists working...you see whomever is free. I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes before he was seen by Dr. Nason. Xrays and Examination complete, prescription and recommendations in hand we were soon on our way. They billed our insurance company right away, so we didn't have to submit the claim. They offer IV sedation, and various dental procedures. but not all procedures are available there. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Broke a tooth on a weekend and was in extreme pain. Monday they extracted all the bits and pieces of it and the pain was gone. Excellent treatment.

Had to retake xray multiple times.I went in for a severe cavity, they assured me nothing was wrong. Went to normal dentist a few days later to hear I need actually work with a properly done xray to back themselves up. A waste of my time and alot of money

I had to attend this dentist for an emergency tooth ache. Upon checking in, one of the receptionists was rude, unwelcoming, and unfriendly. Upon checking out and paying, she was equally rude. She made the whole experience for me horrible. When the dentist was filling the tooth that I was having an issue with, she asked me during treatment if I wanted the other tooth beside it filled while I was already numb. I agreed, I do take some responsibility for this, however I was in a vulnerable position already half through treatment, and the thought of having to endure local anesthesia again, as I have an adverse reaction to it was frightening, what the dentist failed to mention was this second filling (that was currently an non issue ) and could wait till my insurance kicked in was and extra $200 on bill. If you can wait till your regular dentist can take you, I would avoid this practice. If you must go here for an emergency please make it very clear form the begging that you only want the current issue dealt with, so that they do not up-sell while you are already in the chair and they are half way through treatment. The concept of a walk in dentist is excellent, however they are not respectful of everyones unique situation, and the receptionist will not make you feel at ease, she makes you feel as if you are nothing more that a burden to her.

Very friendly and professional as well as being honest you don't need an appointment they will gladly see you and help you right away as they are a clinic but they make you feel comfortable and it didn't take long for them to know everything about my situations. I went in at 5:20pm on a Friday night got in right away did my paperwork then was listened to and talked to properly not judged on not seeing a dentist for honestly 10 years :l they told me all my options not just 1. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Took my 5 year old here, they called us in the room and we sat there for a half hour before we seen a dentist, they only did part of the work then said they could not do the rest as she is moving around too much. Hellooo...you made a 5 year old sit and wait in the chair for half an hour before seeing her, you lost your window of opportunity. The dentist was nice, he didn’t explain much, the front receptionist that day was Denise, she didn’t seem to have much patience for children, and was snippy with me after SHE made a mistake putting it through my insurance, she called my insurance realized her mistake and did not offer an apology. All in all I would never walk in this clinic again mainly due to the attitude of their receptionist Denise! Was not impressed with this center at all.

Wow..just had 3 teeth pulled and staff was amazing and friendly. I have bad anxiety when it comes to dentists and doctors and then kept me calm as best they could..I would highly recommend Fundy dental.????????

Very awful place. I went about 4 months ago due to a filling I had breaking and falling out (it was very old) I was in excruciating pain. They put in a new one and I’ve been in even more pain than before at times. I’ve been on antibiotics twice and have been back 3 times to get them to fix it. They filed my filling down, which is not what I need. I need it taken out and my tooth pulled or a better filling put in. They also filed another tooth that had nothing to do with that tooth. And didn’t tell me why they did. The dentist I had (I do not know his name) didn’t seem to know what he was doing at all. Answered my questions with next to nothing to help me. Will never be going back. Only thing I will say is the receptionist I had was nice and they’re following the Covid rules

From reception to payment, the service and care I received at Fundy Dental on a walk-in basis was second to none. My wait-time was brief, and Dr Aymen's examination was thorough and done in a totally professional, respectful, and considerate manner. His explanation of my condition was both comprehensive and elucidating. It was not only dental care I could afford, but it was the very best of dental care.

awsome group . had a bit of emergency dental work do to a broken tooth had to be pulled due to the pain, called first thing in the morning and was in an hour and a half later, and it literally took all of 15 minutes to have it surgically extracted, and was so numbed up i couldnt feel a thing during. overall really happy i could get in and out so quick everyone was helpful. highly recommend.

I am a 63-year-old man who had a traumatic experience with a dentist 56 years ago. This experience has followed me my entire life. As a result, I had not taken proper care of my teeth and only dealt with emergency situations unless I could be sedated. Two weeks ago, I had a dental emergency that triggered my trauma. I ended up at Fundy Dental Clinic believing they had the ability to sedate me. Once there, I discovered that they did not have nitrous available. I instantly experienced sheer terror. I started to cry and feel embarrassed. I was transformed back to being 7 again. My natural instinct was to run out the door, get a case of Advil and Orajel go home and take care of myself. Denise was incredible, the way she approached the situation with great skill in calming and reassuring me, making me feel safe, while being kind and non judgemental. I never felt judged or looked down upon. She was so supportive that she gained my confidence. Dr Al was fantastic, I could see compassion in eyes and I knew he was going to give his best. So, I was able to compose myself as best I could. I got in the chair and had the work done. It was incredible how well they took care of me. I have since had two more appointments, which says a lot about how much trust and faith I had in Denise, Dr Al and everyone at the clinic. I could never imagine walking into a dentist office as easily as I have the last two times. If you’ve ever had a traumatic experience with a dentist, I can say this is the place to go. From my experience, they will go well above and beyond to care for you and do a fantastic job on your dental issues. Harry McKenzie
