Had a horrible experience with Elm Dental. On November 4th, 2020 at 4:10 pm my wife was going to have a denture made by the dentist at Elm Dental. We only had one appointment with him and after my wife left the appointment and got into the car, she broke out in tears from the pain the dentist caused her. She told me she did not want to go back to him. Her mouth was bloody from the procedure. She cried all the way home because her mouth hurt so much. Her mouth had pain from what the dentist did to her for several months. We never went back because of the damage he did to her mouth.
Fast forward to yesterday, which was Monday, May 10, 2021, we receive a bill for $50.00 for the appointment my wife had with the dentist. This is over six months later. They never called once or sent a bill until now. I explained to the manager that my wife was in extreme pain after the dentist worked on my wife's mouth. I told her it wasn't right that we be charged for a 'procedure' that left my wife in tears. My wife has a high threshold for pain, yet after that procedure she was in pain and agony months later.
The manager kept emphasizing that we requested the service and we have to pay for the appointment. I bantered back and forth with her citing several times that he hurt my wife and brought her to tears. Not once did she apologize for what he did to her, but insisted that we requested the service and therefore my 84 year old wife who recently suffered a major stroke, should pay Elm Dental for the appointment. An appointment that turned into a nightmare for my wife. I really believe that the manager lacked any empathy and compassion for my wife's situation, as she repeated herself several times, "Well, you requested the service."
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
