The bad reviews are surprising. This place is a fantastic dental office. I've been a patient of Dr. Carr's for 3 years and both my husband and kids see her. She is warm, patient, and a great dentist. On top of it, the space is beautiful.

Wow!! What a nasty phone call I just had with this "boyfriend/girlfriend combo. Both locations, Dartmouth mornings and Halifax afternoons. Wouldn't bother either location. Down right rude. I would never give 5 cents to this pair of Arses. Thanks, Have a great day. feel free to ask me why.

I had some bonding done on two teeth, I am getting older and my gums are doing a bit of receding. This kind of makes me young again. Also I have some complex work that needs doing on a back molar. Dr. Scott wanted a second opinion from an oral surgeon. I like that she knows when to consult.

Terrible experience! The reception staff is very confrontational and rude, the hygienists are extremely hard and grind your teeth while cleaning.

I used to go there to clean my teeth and check up every year. Dentist and hygienist are ok but not the receptionists, they are rude. I would never go back there again, found another much better dental office in Halifax.

Recently in for some work and overheard staff talking about the doctors selling to a big corporation from outside NS. Lots of new faces i never seen before so it makes sense. Beware and shop local !

Have been going to Dr. Carr for 30 years now, yes 3-O She was my first dentist and have never seen anyone else! Gonna miss Lynn but Ashley’s doing a great job filling in. I’ve seen many hygienists, and have never, ever had any sort of negative experience whatsoever. I would highly recommend Atlantic Dental! Wish there was an option for more stars.

Dr. Van der Baaren and her assistant are so great with my kids! Both have their own fears of the dentist, and they treat them excellent and walk them through what's about to happen, making the experience easier for my kids. Highly recommend

We've been going to Dr. Blanchard and this office for 5 years now and they're great. Hygienist takes the time to be sure you, or in my case my kids, were really comfortable with them and actually listens when you say no to stuff.

Dentist was extremely ignorant. She didnt like it when i asked questions about MY body. She did not give me all information up front and i had to pry in order to get some answers and still didnt get all my answers.

Patients beware, I went here with a cavity that could have been filled but they said it needed a root canal, (1000$)+ I told them I couldn’t afford it, so I decided to get the tooth pulled for around 100$ they tried to push me toward the root canal each visit. Even tho I explained I’m low income and no benefits. They agreed on pulling the tooth, when the tooth was almost extracted the procedure almost Done.. they cracked it in half... 100% avoidable from another “professionaI” I believe they “Dr Blanchard“ did it intentionally to add another 150$ to my bill. They snuck the extra charge onto my payment without warning or even saying it was a possibility. Just a warning to everyone they will take advantange of you. And as much money as possible I will now avoid going here from now on and will let everyone know their little tricks..

Got a Moller extracted here, the dentist Drblanch cut my gums up pretty good I’m 5 full days after the tooth extraction and the socket is healthy, has a clot. But my gums are still torn up and in extreme pain.. thanks for not prescribing anything for pain and making a hack job of my gums. Just shows they don’t care about their patents just get you in and out to take your money as fast as possible. Worse pain I’ve experienced after any dental trip and I’ve had teeth removed before, I’m beginning to wonder if this guy should be working on people with the lack of aftercare they provide for horrid extractions. Thanks for the 4 pieces of guaze and the pain in my gums and Jaw, going on 6 days in 12 hours
