It is unfortunate that you had a negative experience in our office, and we understand that it was mainly in regards to your private dental insurance provider. It is important to understand that dental insurance providers are for-profit private enterprises and many providers will not disclose information to the dental office. Our office strives to promptly process claims on behalf of our patients but if your insurance provider only communicates and responds to you, we are unable to process any claims. On two separate occasions your insurance provider requested further information from you and also we tried to communicate with you directly with little success. Our office, in the instance you described did contact you twice by mail and attempted to contact your insurance provider on your behalf on both Feb 11, 2015 and March 03, 2015. Unfortunately, the no response action resulted in non-payment for the treatment provided. In such situations we have to request that the account be cleared directly by you. To avoid misunderstandings and frustration, it is important to respond promptly to your insurance carrier’s requests and to your dental office when further action is required to process your claims. Our staff are well qualified, professional and experienced. It is unfortunate that you found them to be unsatisfactory while dealing with your case. We will continue to work hard to serve our patients so that these type of situations are dealt with promptly and professionally. Thank you for your feedback. It is interesting that you only found it rude to ask you to clear your account that you were avoiding and not at your own actions of ignoring our several attempts to contact you and also your own insurance providers attemps to contact you so they could process your claims and pay the dental office in a timely manner. Although, you have decided to no longer see us for your dental care needs we will continue to care for your family members that are continuing as patients and seem to be satisfied with our service and staff.
