A machine actually makes the crown right in the office so you don't have to have two appointments. It really saves time. Plus the staff are gentle, attentive and excited about their craft. Peak Dental is the first Dentist I've walked into and said to myself Damn. The atmosphere and office appearance was enough for me to have peace at mind. I recently had my wisdom tooth out by Dr. Peng who has done an unbelievable job I honestly couldn't be happier with a Dentist. I have a devastating fear of needles, so going to the dentist has always been a huge point of anxiety in my life - switching to Peak Dental Arts has been a complete game changer for me. The staff are so amazing and friendly and patient, when I had to have two cavities re-done (from my past dentist), they made sure to give me a double dose of freezing and were as slow and gentle as possible. Because I metabolize freezing so quickly, I needed additional needles to get me through the appointment, and by the time I had to have the next round of shots, I wasn't even that scared because I knew it wouldn't hurt. The Dental Assistant (David) held my hand and talked me through the whole thing when I started to panic. This is above and beyond and I would never expect that level of kindness at the dentist, but that's the kind of people that are staffed at Peak Dental Arts. <3 I can't thank you guys enough!

Growing up I had the BEST Dentist. He made me feel comfortable and safe and was basically pain free! Since moving to Vancouver 7 years ago I had tried 2 other Dental Offices who were nowhere near as good as Peak. I'm so glad I kept searching and found Peak! From the time you book, to your greeting at reception, all throughout your consultation / treatment, you will feel comfortable, welcomed, and valued. Dylan and David are two of the kindest and lovely people you will meet. They assist the Dentists and make sure you are at ease from the minute you sit in the chair. This was possibly one of the best dental experiences I have ever had at a dentist office. Staff at the front desk was very welcoming and efficient. Dr Rutwind is so informative , most importantly, she doesn't pressure you to do any dental that you don't need, she is honest and will do everything in her power to ensure you leave happy with your teeth. My hygienist Diana was Amazing.She took such great care of me. Can't say thanks enough. I give this dental clinic 5 star for it's quality. Thank you .

I highly recommend Peak Dental Arts!!! I was super anxious about my appointment but Dr Verjee and Sima made me feel so comfortable... They both were always making sure that I was ok and not feeling any pain! Sima is very friendly and professional, Dr Verjee was always explaining what he was doing and the appointment ended with no surprises ???? Also Dakshay, my hygienist, he is the best! Always telling me what he is doing and why, checking if I am feeling comfortable, he is so careful!! ???? The staff made me feel welcomed and safe, I noticed that all protocols were in place ????. I can’t give enough praise to Peak Dental Arts. Hands down the best dental practice I’ve ever been to. In my opinion what sets them apart from other dental offices is their insistence on education. For ex. If you have a cavity and need a filling, you don’t just go in to get a filling - you get a filling, you learn exactly why you needed that filling, and they show you precisely how they applied that filling using X-rays and real-time photos from the procedure. You always leave feeling well-informed. Finally! I have finally found a dentist office that cares. I drive around 40 minutes to get here and would drive over an hour with 0 care. I can't say enough good things about this place. They go above and beyond to make each visit comfortable. I am someone that hates going to the dentist like most people. This place makes me feel so comfortable and I never feel rushed, if I have questions they are answered fully and in detail. The ladies at the front desk go above and beyond (Thank you Shannon) I really love how I get a ecard Birthday card every year, its a very sweet gesture. The text message reminders are also very nice. I can't recommend this place enough to friends and coworkers. This dentist went above and beyond the call of duty. We needed an emergency appointment for my daughter due to a chipped tooth. They got her in immediately and were able to treat her right away and get her out of pain. The situation also called for a legal note due to the chip happening at a restaurant. The doctor wrote and sent the letter that same day. The doctor and the staff are very professional, so kind, so thoughtful and so friendly. I would recommend this dentist to everyone. I used to have serious anxiety about seeing the dentist and it had been over a decade since I had an appointment. I had a serious cavity that needed to be looked at ASAP and Peak was recommended to me by my boss. As somebody who hasn't had great experiences with dentists/dental staff, I was absolutely shocked at how well and completely every single person I met there took care of me. They validated my anxiety, none of this "there's nothing to be scared of" trope and even though the seriousness of what was going on with my tooth was very clearly stated, there was absolutely no guilt trip about how long it had been since I had seen a dentist. I opted to be sedated and have all the work done during one appointment. All of the work I had done was reasonably priced, they made sure I was very comfortable (a blanket and pillows) and very sleepy before starting. They made sure my companion was there to pick me up and this morning Dr. Peng messaged me himself to make sure I was safe, sound and recovering well. If you have anxiety about the dentist THIS is your new place! Special shout outs to everybody at the front desk (Terri and Manpreet), Dr. Peng and Kaitlin.

I gave them a real project with my root canal and they handled it very well. I had to get her to stop at one point because I needed to laugh out loud during the surgery! Dr. Rutwind and her team are fantastic. I used to have a lot of anxiety and trepidation about going to the dentist which led to neglect of some serious issues. I am now completely comfortable with going to my appointments and am relaxed and comfortable when I go. I recently had a wisdom tooth removed that was almost effortless and the post op recovery was minimal to the point that I did not take any medication for pain or swelling. Today I had my 3rd crown done by Dr.Rutwind in the past couple years. The entire process is done in 2 hours with electronic imaging and the crown is fabricated on site in a CNC type machine in 15 minutes. My post op for this was again painless. Done at 1 pm and ate steak for dinner. No pain killers. Brushed my teeth like nothing happened. Thanks for a renewed smile! I HIGHLY recommend you choose Peak Dental Arts.

Everyone in your family will like coming here! Dr. Verjee and Barbara are a wonderful team that has made every appt actually fun! Dr. Verjee is incredibly gentle and detail oriented. Had an amazing experience here after years of thinking the subpar service I was getting elsewhere was normal. Everyone I engaged with at this dental office was kind, courteous, and thorough. I experienced zero discomfort, zero confusion, and the office itself was great (I even got to watch a TV in the ceiling). It it was strange to realize how I had gotten used to things like dismissive workers/discomfort/other stressful things at other dentists. I saw Dr. Rutwind and Assistant Dylan who performed an implant on me and they absolutely deserve 5 stars. I was so anxious leading up to it and couldn't help but keep laughing during the procedure because it was not one bit scary or bad. i HAVE TO SAY IT'S best dentist that i have ever went too and that says a lot because i been too many dentist. my only complaint is that i smash my head when i going to sit in the chair and everyone thought nothing of it., but too me that light shouldn't have been there or it should have been in another position. now i have to wear a hat to hide this cut and swelling on my head. nevertheless, i still recommend this dental clinic to all my family and friends.. .

Diane is an Amazing, Detailed and very Patient Hygienist and a Wonderful person and I would highly recommend her. Cleaning and scaling is not easy when you have not done it in more than 6 months but Diane made the experience very pleasant as she has soft hands and a great deal of knowledge and experience on top of a warm personality. Probably the worst overall dentist experience of my life. My first visit was great, David who did my intake pics etc is rad, my next experience was terrible.... For my cleaning the hygienist started my cleaning 15 minutes late then after cleaning half my teeth wrapped it up after 30 total minutes in the chair saying they'd "finish the rest next visit", like what? I left only my bottom teeth scaled. Then I went in to get my fillings (which I definitely showed up late and that were really great about it) but my mouth was mangled the next day on the side I was treated on, like with burns or abrasions from the treatment, my lips are a mess and when I went to them to see if they'd take a look to make sure the wasnt a bigger issue they really didn't have time, told me it would be 30mins and after 40 I left. I cancelled my future appointments and will not be returning, I'm posting pics of my lips as well just in case you feel like getting fillings done there. Honestly, I can't recommend this place at all, go anywhere else.

The staff there has been extremely kind and really focused on education. I've never had a dentist teach me all the things they taught me during my appointment. It was very helpful and calming. I really hate going to the dentist but the team they have there are very understanding and accommodating. Peak Dental Arts is amazing. I’ve been going there for about 2 years now. All I can say is just like what everybody is putting in the reviews. From my own experience, I have been greeted and welcomed into the office from the staff. Cindy, my hygienist is great at cleaning my teeth. My teeth has always come out looking pearly white. She also educate me about how to prevent early gum disease which is something I don’t want in the future. Dr. Rutwind is excellent at everything she does and she is very honest. The office mascot Ace is a great dog to pet and play with. He is so well behaved and Ace knows how to pose for the camera. Ace you need to be in a dog modeling agency. You’re just too handsome and I love your cute nose. I want to boop it.

Dr Rutwind gave me an initial treatment plan outline that was clear, and practical for me. The Dental Assistant was wonderful and a great sense of humour, didn't hurt me with those darn xray things. I am super scared of the dentist. I avoided going to to the dentist for a number of years until one day a large filling fell out and I was forced to go. Because I avoided the dentist for so many years I needed to have a lot of extensive work done which while I knew it was coming was so scary for me. Dr. Virani was AMAZING throughout all of my very long appointments and did an amazing job. He was extremely thorough and kept me in the loop with what he was doing - he even stopped and asked if I wanted to see what he was working on in my mouth - blegh, no thanks, but very cool if you're into that sort of thing. After conquering these extensive work appointments and with Dr. Virani and all the hygienists being so kind along the way I'm less scared to go and have even started booking regular appointments in advance.

SCAM ARTISTS This clinic is horrible. They will find out how much insurance coverage you have and build a plan to use it all up. They will drill holes and tell you that you need work done that is not necessary. My boyfriend was told he needed 7 fillings. Luckily due to covid last year he wasn’t able to go in. Went went to a new dentist and he only had 1 filling. I was told I needed 4 fillings and needed none. Not to mention I had an old filling replaced, got an infection and ended up needing an emergency root canal with a specialist. Dental health is so important for your overall health. Do not trust this clinic.

I've been to Peak Dental Arts a few times over the last year for cleanings and whitenings, and recently I was there to have some restoration work completed. I'm not nervous about cleanings, but having work done (especially the needle!) is terrifying for me. I let my dentist, Dr. Rutwind, know about my fear. She and their lead CDA Dylan were very understanding and gentle throughout the process. I can't honestly say that I would go the dentist for fun, but this was the most positive experience I've ever had having dental work done. Got me in so quickly - kindest & most empathetic reception staff and hygienists & the dentist was non-judgemental & gentle. He explained why what happened, happened, how he is going to fix it, and how to get rid of the infection beforehand. The front desk staff faxed in my meds to my pharmacy instantly and I was home & out of pain very quickly. Even my mom has decided to switch to this dental office because of our experience today. I met Barbara, the sweetest, with such a great customer service, she offered me a pillow to be more confortable, water etc... The office has a friendly vibe and two wonderful women to greet you and take care of the billing and any questions as you arrive or at the tail end of your visit. Covid protocols and procedures are in full effect and very reassuring throughout. My hygienist was Diana and she was incredibly efficient and had a great touch as well as a lovely demeanor. This place is bad first they schedule you for an appointment and ask upon your arrival to text so they will let you in, don't know why after all you are in the street freezing for up to 10min because the receptionist is busy. I went there to attend a Wisdom tooth issue in an emergency appointment they took an x-ray and told me we will be in touch with you in1hr to let you know what's next because the dentist who checks me doesn't have the skills to perform the extraction of my wisdom tooth. So far 24hrs have passed and nothing from the office. I call and they didn't have an answer to my case only trying to cover the mistake, I honestly believe the amount of clientele they have is more of they can handle, I wish them to amend these issues but I will never go back and I will not recommend this place at all.

Dr. Virani and Dylan have changed my life. I struggled with drug addiction for years and when I got sober, the few teeth I had left were in horrible shape. Going in for the first time, I was extremely anxious and embarrassed. Their compassion and lack of judgement literally brought me to tears. The space is beautiful, clean and very professional. They were able to fit and finish my crowns all in one session. I've never been offered this service anywhere else. It usually takes dentists a week for them to be able to do this. Just over a year ago I went to get my teeth cleaning and filling done at Peak Dental Arts. Funny to say it was a warm feeling walking in there and the staff was very welcoming. Dr. Virani did my first cleaning and took pictures of my teeth as they do that to all new patients. The pictures are useful for future visits as they can relate to most updated. It was nice for him to do the cleaning because he was very informative and i gained some knowledge on little things. Second visit was my filling as Dr. Virani did that as well, went smooth and again very informative. Just recently I went for another teeth cleaning with a hygienist and she was awesome. She took her time and really explained what she was doing as I was seeking interest too, maybe you like to be in complete silence haha. I went for a second cleaning before getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Rutwind and that hygienist was amazing as well. Now Dr. Rutwind was out of this world for my wisdom teeth pull outs. She explained every step and was extra cautious, she really took her time in every action. Didn't just yank/pull them out like horror stories I have heard from friends and family members. She was very fast in pulling them though but very calm at the same time. It definitely was not as bad I thought it would be. Overall Peak Dental Arts is professional practice with an incredible staff full of knowledge and smiles.

My most AWFUL dentist experience I went as a non emergency patient.There was a chip in my tooth and I had time to attend to it. Even though my Vancouver friends told me NOT to go to Peak Dental Arts, I did go, because it was so close and convenient. BIG MISTAKE!! Omar the dentist started to dig into my tooth and I had to stop him to ask why he was digging so deep as it was only a matter of filling a small chip. He said there is a cavity. I said my dentist of 20 years had never mentioned this. He had a hard time apologising for not asking me whether I agreed for him to proceed on a more involved procedure. He finally admitted he should have asked for my consent. My regular dentist has since followed up over several months and firmly states that Omar was WRONG, there is NO CAVITY. Just a greed for money I suppose. That is my experience, and I have all the documents and witnesses to prove everything I reported here. DO NOT USE PEAK DENTAL ARTS is my informed advice.

Each member of their team goes above and beyond to keep you calm and feeling relaxed until well after your procedure. SHANNON and JESS at the desk are so lovely and warm, they make you feel so comfortable and right at home. DAVID the Assistant who worked along side DR. ALEX RUTWIND noticed my severe anxiety increasing while waiting for my appointment so he brought me into a private room and calmed me down with funny personal stories. DR. RUTWIND is so incredible at her craft. She is quick and gentle! Her work is beyond fantastic. I have never had a crown created and placed in the same day. I have zero soreness or bruising. Also shout out to CINDY the hygienist who initially cleaned my teeth my first visit, she remembered who I was and knew I was anxious, so she sat with me in the waiting room for a few minutes before my procedure, to calm me down. We had the luck of being referred to Peak Dental Arts - specifically Dr. Rutwind - and we are so glad we were. The office has a modern feel and is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, highly competent and great at dealing with the insurance and other paperwork aspects of the appointment. The dentists and hygienists use all the latest tools and methods, whether you're there for a cleaning, a crown or a filling, etc., to make each appointment time efficient and pass with the least amount of discomfort possible. My wife had her crown done in one appointment as they can make the crown on their premises, and I didn't have to have the rubber dam for my filling, which was awesome. I hate the rubber dam. I have never felt this confident in a dentist. Dr. Rutwind has a great chair-side manner, and it's obvious in the way she conducts herself that she really knows what she's doing. She also explains the procedure well, and she does it without confusing the patient, which is nice, because the more you understand a procedure the better you feel about it. My experience with Peak Dental Arts exceeded my expectations. The staff was super friendly and highly professional. They made me feel very confident upon my arrival. I went for a general evaluation and a dental cleaning. The dental cleaning was done in depth and without any pain. Regarding the evaluation, they did different kind of scans and x-rays, finally the odontologist suggested 3 different treatment options for my condition , clearly explaining the short and long term benefits of each treatment. Peak was recommended to me by a friend. After my initial appointment, I knew I was in good hands. I recently had to go in for a root canal which I was nervous about as I have Tourette Syndrome and sitting still for a prolonged period is extremely difficult and uncomfortable . They offered to wave the sedation fees for me and it was honestly the best experience I've had at a dentist in terms of being comfortable before, during, and after the procedure. As someone with dental anxiety, it took a great amount of courage for me to schedule and follow through with a dental appointment. It had been a few years since I had went last, and that can be pretty embarrassing! Upon my first visit, I was warmly greeted by the front desk receptionists, Ashlee, Jess and Shannon. The girls quickly addressed how nervous I was and put me at ease. My dental assistant, Dylan, was gentle, funny and informative during the record taking process of my exam, making something typically uncomfortable actually enjoyable. They can actually provide a crown the same day because they make the crown right there as you are getting the work done. How impressive is that! No need to go back and forth or have a temp crown. Diana did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. She educated me so that when I left their office I had made to myself a real lasting commitment to maintaining my dental health. The owner called me and my partner to apologize about the way they were attempting to collect money for a bogus invoice, and just today (2 and a half years later) they resent the invoice and are trying to collect on it again even though the owner “resolved” the issue.

The dental hygienist Cindy who I have had clean my teeth several times over my last few visits is amazing. I actually fell asleep during one of my cleanings! The modern tools used help, but Cindy is skilled and offers great suggestions as to how you can easily make a few changes between treatments to improve oral health (not just the standard “floss more.”) Obviously the two dentist are fabulous as well. If you're scared of needles on your gum, come here. I've gotten my teeth frozen many times before at different places but this was by far the best experience. Dr. Virani does an excellent job and you can barely feel the needle going in to your gums. Zero pain.
