My experience with Dr. Sarrafan has been nothing but pleasant. Definitely one of the best dentists in Vancouver. I recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist.

North Shore Dental Group is one of the advance and update dental office , very clean with freindly and professioan staff , I have been Dr. Sarafan patients for past 12 years he always gave good advise and treat me and my entire family in a best way . i have had several dentist before but can't compare Dr Srarafan knowledge with others. Highly recomend him ,so take an advantage and use his experinece while you can .

Chipped a huge chunk off a molar yesterday and was desperate to get it filled before the New Years Eve weekend. Haven't seen a dentist in ages. Dr. Sarrafan's staff fit me in within 24 hours. And for the first time, a dental assistant explained every single thing that was happening before doing it. It completely put me at ease. Dr. Sarrafan showed me my x-rays, showed me options, gave me pricing--the works. I told him to go for it and he took less than 30 minutes to restore my tooth while I watched "Bridesmaids" on the TV screen hanging conveniently above me while he worked painlessly on my mouth. And I don't have coverage so I was grateful for the very reasonable bill. Going back to get more work done in January now that I've found my dentist.

I have always been very happy with Dr Doujak because he has a caring nature and makes me feel relaxed. Dr Doujak makes sure to provide dental treatment with minimal discomfort. I had a bad dental experience as a child so I have always been frightened and stressed when I needed to go to a dentist. With Dr Doujak I was finally able to deal with allot of dental issues that I previously neglected due to my anxiety. I highly recommend Dr Doujak and I have come to know and respect him.

I have to say I very much do not like going to the dentist, but this office has made it the most painless and pleasant experience going to a dentist can be. The staff are very professional and friendly. I really appreciate the reminder call and they are very quick but thorough. I will be keeping them as a dentist for certain :)

The staff at this dental office is absolutely amazing. From Aiza at the front, to Dr. Sarrafan in the back, they are the best dental team I have ever been to. Even though I moved cities, I will go back to North Van just for them. They do outstanding work and always make me feel welcome.

Staff was good and respectful, Doctor was late for 2:30 minutes after lots of X-ray and test they couldn't recognize this bad pain coming from, they write me tenolon 3 and kik me out with bad pain, over charge me $174 for the examination and recognition its totally ridicules

I should have wrote this review a few years ago. Dr. Doujak helped me so much with a major insurance claim I had awhile ago. My insurance company denied a claim I had, but Dr. Doujak wrote to the board of dentistry and sent the letter to my insurance company. My insurance company ended up covering the claim. I was so lucky to have someone there helping me when I didn't know what to do. Thank you Dr. Doujak for your kind help and true professionalism. 5/5

The staff at this dental practice are awesome. I love that the administrative support are always on top of your claims and let you know what will be covered before you are down a potentially expensive treatment path. The hygienists are always so kind and professional. The experience at the clinic has been a breath of fresh air after feeling like other practices on the north shore were ripping me off and taking advantage of my benefits. While the team was accommodating enough, I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Sarrafan himself. After spending over $1600 for a root canal out-of-pocket, it failed. I was given a cause for the failure that relieves Sarrafan of fault. Maybe this should have been looked into before the root canal was expediently performed? Another issue I have with what Sarrafan blamed was that it was a difficult spot which I find hard to swallow given that it was a normal molar in a normal part of the mouth. The crown was made and put on immediately which fit very poorly leaving gaps between my teeth for food and bacteria to collect. The crown was also placed over an old filling which added to the poor fit and should not have been done. Other dentists who have worked on it have agreed in accordance. The tooth remained infected causing severe pain, grief, and frustration. A second treatment free of charge was negotiated to re-perform the operation. Without my prior knowledge, this would involve drilling through the expensive crown to get to the problem area. This essentially ruined the $700 crown previously hastily placed on. After years of discomfort and grief, the tooth had to be extracted and now I am looking at another $3000 bill for an implant. In summary, go to an endodontic specialist for root canals. Not this hack.

I was looking for a dentist after I had moved to BC and was referred to Dr.Sarrafan by one of my best friends. The receptionist is very accommodating. She goes through any question you have with such great patient. The hygienist is so nice and gentle. When I heard that I needed to take out two of my wisdom teeth which one of them was deep rooted, I was so scared that I was almost ready to cancel my surgery appointment, but Dr.Sarrafan made it so it barely hurt at all and it was with such speed that I am still in awe of his skill. I had minor swelling and very little pain. I had a call the very next day from them to make sure I'm doing well. Everything went beyond my expectation and I highly recommend them. Thanks for the great service! Would definitely come back again!

unfortunately i was very disappointed...the office manager is quite rude and unprofessional...i had major work need to be done and was very stressed out....communication overall was very poor as very little attempt was made to inform me of my problems.. i required extensive work but got minimal communication from the dentist about the nature of my problems..he set up a plan of extensive and expensive root canals that did nothing to address the deeper problems i was facing.. upon getting a second and third opinion from a dentist and a periodontist i realized his course of action was simply a patch up job when really i needed much more extensive care. what bothers me is that they never clearly expressed to me the real condition nor presented me with the realistic solutions to my problem. i was never referred to a specialist, which i needed nor clearly told how severe my condition was..i would have deeply regretted following their course of action.. i strongly suggest always getting a second opinion.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr .Sarrafan and his staff. I was very anxious about my visit but Dr. Sarrafan was very patient and spend a lot of time trying to calm me down and explain things. His staff at front desk and his CDA were very helpful and kind and always available to help. Very nice people, very poor results. Assistant performs like she may not have any training at all and whispers/ mumbles all her requests. Dr Sarrafin, although very nice, left me with an altered and misaligned bite and the most ridiculously shaped crown that looks nothing like a human tooth. Another crown fell out after a very few years and after he glued it back in it broke off a week later. The people were always pleasant and the service pain free but the results were terrible. Do not recommend.

The staff at North Shore Dental Group are lovely. My hygienist is very thoughtful and thorough. Last few visits have just been for routine cleaning, but whether for that or when more serious dental work has been needed, the service is always prompt, courteous, gentle, and efficient. Dr. Doujak is an excellent dentist and everyone at their office makes the experience more pleasant. The service is fast, friendly and very professional. I have recommended them to my family, friends and continue to do so.
