I have been seeing Dr. Kam and Michelle for nearly ten years. The Capilano dental center has an excellent team and top-notch professional services. My teeth and gum were not in great shape at all ten years ago. But I followed their dental care advice and had suitable treatments, which resulted in having no cavities and healthy gum conditions today. I highly recommend Capilano Dental centre to anyone who wants to have high-quality dental care. The staff members are very friendly that you will feel safe and comfortable to have a treatment.

I am shocked I haven't reviewed these guys yet...I've been seeing Dr. Kam for many years and I first went to them explaining I was a nervous and anxious patient. I had a bad experience in the past involving my face and the steering wheel of a car....and well dentists scare me. I have been treated with dignity and compassion there....I've had only the best care from the reception to hygienists and Dr. Kam. I think the only con is not being able to contribute to the often funny and off the wall conversations that happen above me! In my head I'm screaming my comments and laughing. This team obviously likes each other, what they do and it shows in every action. I don't live in NV anymore but I'll always make the drive over there. No other dentist for me.

It's true, they do cater to cowards. I must say most of my interactions with dentist and dental hygienist up to know have been negative to say the least. However ???? there is always an exception to the rule.and the guys at Capilano dental are it.

I put this rate regarding the realy poor customer service. they set the appointment for me twice. They first called and canceled my appointment then called again for second appointment yesterday. with this covid 19 situation i told them are you sure this time work for you due to i have to book for nanny and ask for off time from my work . I went there this morning . I was in capillano mall while they called me and said dentist not able to see me and they do not know who call me day before and book appointment for me . Really ????????????do they ever respect their patients especially at this time that nobody wants go out with out emergency reason.

I went here for a stress free experience, including sedation. Didn't work out at all well. A lot of pressure to do what I didn't want and wasn't covered on my insurance. Also the dental hygienist was nothing short of rude.

Came to this dental office for a dental emergency 7 years ago -and so glad I did! Dr.Kam and his team are amazing. Michelle, Roxy...the whole staff is Friendly and professional. They helped me navigate my insurance plan, prioritize my treatments, and generally make me feel welcome! I actually enjoy coming to the dentist now...which says something about the great team here. -despite moving out of North Van, I gladly drive 40min to come back to Capilano Dental for all my cleanings...and occasion fillings :)

I had a bad experience and refuse to go back to Capilano Mall Dental Center for the following reasons: 1) My filling did not last very long (aka it started "leaking") quite soon after the work was done, causing further damage to my tooth. 2) My insurance was over charged - i.e. I had an appointment booked in advance yet was over charged as an "emergency" visit - I had work done on a cavity, not a broken or abcessed tooth so how could that possibly be an emergency?! Also no work was done my first appointment, I went back a few days later for my filling. 3) When I called to confirm my appointment to get the shoddy work fixed, his receptionist was rude, talked down to me and argued with me over an innocent mistake in my appointment time. After being chewed out by the receptionist, she had the gall to ask me if I still wanted to come in. Ummm, no. 4) Since the work wasn't done right, and my insurance already paid for the work to be done, I now have to pay out of pocket to have it fixed by another dentist. 5) I saw the dentist who did my filling buying booze at the liquor store the night before my appointment...that should have been a giant warning sign for me to run to another dentist!
