This state of the art location is the closest thing to being at the spa like environment, when you need dental work. Imagine getting your Cappuccino upon arrival, then being whisked off to the best massage chair imaginable. Well that's what you can expect, and they haven't even looked at your mouth yet!. Awesome staff, and fantastic Dentist. Dr. Damji is very sensitive to your concerns as a patient ( he actually listens ) and does amazing and painless cosmetic dentistry. Do not hesitate to give Dr. Damji and staff a try if you're tired of paying through the nose and being treated like a number for sub-par dentistry. Five stars all around. Do not miss the Massage Chair, Seriously!

I have been going to Artis Dentist centre for over a year now and I only have amazing things to say. The team makes you feel important and safe. It makes it such a pleasure to go in. The dental hygienist's are extremely knowledgeable and not only do an excellent job cleaning teeth, but also teach you how to take care of your oral hygiene at home, based on your specific needs. I recently finished my invisalign treatment and I am so happy! I finally have the smile I have always wanted. Dr. Damji was so wonderful, professional and helpful in advising me the best way to achieve my goals. He is so friendly and efficient. I would rate my experience 11/10. Artis Dental Centre (NV)went beyond the “Call of Duty”with me, I was so Impressed with Doctor Johnson-Lee, she was so Careful and explaining to me everything, she was doing or going to do. Honestly the best dentist i have been too in years. They did exactly what asked them to do and they billed my insurance for me. I work up north so i dont have a lot of time to go to a dentist, i booked an appointment and they did everything for me. I will definitely be back they were awesome. I don’t easily trust dentists and won’t go unless I absolutely have to, but right from my first phone call to book the appointment and seeing the dentist, they made me feel relaxed. I had a very nice experience before with a dentist who put numbing cream on my son’s first wiggly tooth and took it out with tip of his fingers; all happened when he was standing talking nicely with my son. When my son got his second wiggly tooth, he asked me if we visit the dentist again to take it out. I took my 6 year old son to Artis dental centre for second time to take off his very very wiggly tooth out. The first dentist was not available for a week, so I agreed to meet another dentist. My appointment was on 3:40. After 20 min we were waiting, someone came and took my son to do x-ray. At that time I didn’t know that they were doing x-ray on my son. first, they didn’t ask for my permission to do x-ray on my son; second, Dr hadn’t visited him in order to decide if X-Ray is needed in this case or not. I don’t think taking out a small wiggly tooth needed to be x-rayed. Then someone took my son to a room and numb his tooth, we were waiting for 45 min there. My son got tired and the atmosphere wasn’t pleasant for a 6 year old kid. Then a Dr. came, I was told he was the owner of the business, he suddenly turned on all the lights and started talking so loud that scared my son, but the Dr ignored his feeling and continued yelling while he was wiggling his tooth again and again. My son was so scared and he started to cry but Dr stared to speak even louder and say don’t do it don’t do it . My son was saying mom please help me. Then I asked the Dr to stop. My son ran away from him to me. We came out and they charge me for $100. I asked the secretary what was that charge for, she said for x-ray and checking his teeth, at that time I found out that my 6 year old son had been gotten x-ray which is harmful for human body. First I didn’t ask for checking, second they need to get permission from me to do the x-ray( they did x-ray before visit of the dentist), third he really didn’t know how to deal with kids. Awful experience that made my son be scared of all dentists.

I was a old patient there back in 2011 and moved out of Vancouver in 2015. And I am going to move back to N. Van in few months and need to see a dentist and had been awhile. I had called the office yesterday would like to see if my files still there and some questions regarding invisalign. Terrible experience at this place in sometime in 2013, they made my wife get up from the dentist's chair so she would pay before they started the dental work, so they "could get paid". Who does that? What's more the filling fell out a little over a year later, and was no longer covered by the 1 year warranty. You guys don't know what human relations are.

It’s all about trusting your dentist and the service you receive. Artis is a nice designed dental center and I have been their client for more than 6 years. My experience with the previous dentist here didn’t have a good ending as she missed a cavity and I was close to lose a tooth. However, I have heard that this can happen to every dentists, and I should add that she was very nice to my son who was afraid of dentistry. After that, Dr. Erfan has been my dentist for a few years. He is a very knowledgeable and professional dentist. He is a perfectionist in his job and never recommend anything if it’s not necessary. Aida, her assistant, has been always very nice and supportive too. Good vibes here...

Having read the 5 stars reviews on Google, I booked an appointment to have my teeth clean on Sept.17, 2014 for a 6pm appointment. I wanted to have my teeth clean only, no general check-up or anything because I have my regular dentist at Granville Station Dental Office for that. They're just too far away and Artis is right beside my work place. Since it's just a cleaning, I didn't think it would be all that different from one office to another. ------------------- When I called to confirmed the pricing (on the day of), and to make sure that it's only cleaning. The receptionist wanted to know how much my dental plan is covered. I told her it's 80% but she wanted to know the dollar amount maximum that I have. I asked her why she needed to know that and she said she wanted to make sure they're "going to get paid". I assured her that she will because I haven't used my dental coverage for the year yet. She wanted me to do a checkup and x-ray. I told her firmly I only wanted a cleaning but she can get my x-rays transfer from my regular dental office. She got the x-rays, AND the maximum dollars amount from the other office. I was starting to have a bad feeling and wanted to reschedule the appointment but the receptionist said a dental hygenist is already scheduled for me. This is a lie because Dr.Lee was the one that cleaned my teeth, not a dental hygenist. I really should've listened to my instinct. ------------------- 6pm came and I was made to wait 30 minutes. That's fine, I understand offices can be busy. Dr. Lee came and brought me in and proceeded to do the cleaning of my teeth. There was no dental hygenist in sight for my appointment. Dr. Lee was friendly and courteous but she was definitely NOT trained to clean teeth. She didn't use the manual scaler and used a drill to buff out the plaque. I have NEVER had that done in my life before. Even when I was lazy and hadn't gone to get a dental hygenist in 10 years, they still didn't use the drill to buff out the plaque. I was in extreme pain and wanted her to clean my teeth the regular way. She didn't seemed too thrill to have to clean my teeth manually when I asked for it, saying that the plaque were too hard. She even took photos of the teeth to prove to me how much plaque buildup there was. She suggested we numb my teeth so she can continue buffing it with the drill. And me, being stupid and nice, agreed to have my teeth numbed so she can continued to buff out the plaque. She didn't even floss my teeth. I went to get my teeth cleaned and the most basic procedure wasn't even done. I don't know what Dr.Lee did but the bottom right area that she numbed and spent the majority of her time on, is now inflamed and swollen and it's been 2 months. I have to go back to my dentist to have it re cleaned and checked up. ------------------- When I went to pay, I had to pay for a limited oral exam even when I already stated that I didn't want an exam. I almost got charged for the pictures taken of the teeth as well. I just wanted my teeth clean. It was supposed to be a simple, basic procedure that turned turned out to more of a money grabbing procedure. ------------------- I'm actually really angry at myself for not listening to my initial gut instinct and I should have read the filtered reviews of this office on Yelp as well. The filtered ones were negative and I don't think they're all that off.

In July, I received 12 crowns for my front teeth by Dr. Damji. Now that everything has settled in and I have become accustomed to them, my self confidence has been boosted tremendously. I feel better smiling and talking to people now. I would recommend this dental center to all my friends and family, and will be returning for any future dental needs I may have .

I went to this dental office about 5 years ago for a checkup. X rays and cleaning were done. All was fine until the next appointment. All of a sudden I had a cavity in my front tooth.?! In 40 plus years of seeing dentists very regularly I have never had a cavity or problems with my front teeth. She carved my right one up. Less than a year ltr the filling fell out and had to be replaced. After that it was my other front tooth that apparently had a cavity. She carved that one up too. Now it's falling out and must be replaced. There are also cracks from said fillings going farther up into both of my front teeth into my gums. Grrrr..... Absolute butcher job for more money. Every time I went it was a different hygienist for cleaning. Last time it 9was a young girl fresh out of school training on my teeth. Absolute ridiculous. Oh and xrays and gum checks and u need a crown or two and can u come in for 3 cleanings a year. Absolutely the worst dental care I have had because of the longterm damage I now have to deal with in the future. Shame on u if u go see her to get your teeth messed up. She is absolutely in her profession to grab your money. Like the worst car mechanic. Break your car (teeth) to fix it again. And no this isn't b.s. Trust me go elsewhere. TM.
