I've been seeing Dr.K for 7 years and am very happy. When we moved, I did see another dentist which was a horrible experience of him fiddling around with my fillings in order to charge my insurance company. But that has never happened to me here. My cleanings usually take 45 minutes (I brush and floss daily - I read the other review that said they floss after every meal - that's a lie, no one does that). I've had some work with my caps done here and it's been great. Dr. Choy has done my husband's invisible braces and he is very happy with the results and continues to see him and is happy with Dr. Choy's service as well.

Thank goodness for Dr. Choy! I recommend him to all of my friends! After seeing a dentist who told me I needed some expensive work done immediately, I decided to get a second opinion. I wasn't experiencing any pain or sensitivity so I thought it might be best to see another dentist. I lived in Coal Harbour at the time and decided to try Aarm Coal Harbour because they were close to home. I was very nervous that I was going to receive more bad news but Dr. Choy assured me everything looked normal and any issues brought up by the previous dentist weren't urgent at all. He was kind, funny, gentle and really great at explaining everything he was doing to help calm my nerves. I immediately felt at ease chatting with him and was very impressed with how thorough my cleaning was. The dental assistant working with him was also great. I loved how they joked with each other a bit like old friends while keeping me included in their conversation. Overall, it was a very pleasant trip to the dentist and I've been going to him ever since! On Christmas Eve one year, part of one of my fillings chipped off leaving a very sharp edge (this was an old filling that wasn't done by Dr. Choy or anyone at Aarm Coal Harbour). Dr. Choy saved the day by squeezing me in on short notice that same evening despite it being Christmas Eve! Wow! If you're like me and feel nervous about going to the dentist, go see Dr. Choy! I am so happy I finally found a great dentist!

I've been in dentists' chairs since I was very little. I hated even the thought of going to a dentist and avoided it like the plague. BUT, today, Dr. Choy makes the experience wonderful - he is so gentle, skilled, knowledgeable and friendly yet professional, my thoughts about going to the dentist have completely changed - as long as the dentist is Dr. Choy. I had one of the best dental experiences visiting Aarm Dental Group. I had some bad experiences since coming to Vancouver and had pretty much lost trust in the industry. I decided to give it one more when I noticed some niggling in a tooth, and was recommended Aarm by a friend. I had Devin as my dentist and was really impressed at the service. He was incredibly professional and sincere during the visit, explaining what he was doing and why. It was clear that his clients are his top priority, interested in educating his clients about prevention, rather than focusing on money-making and up selling. I'd highly recommend Devin and Aarm Dental. Thanks for a great experience!

Long story short: I went to an awful dentist in east Van that left me in excruciating pain for months. When I finally worked up the courage to try Dr Choy, I was made to feel immediately at ease with him and the rest of his staff. He is very kind and gentle and makes it all very quick and painless. I really enjoy seeing him and talking with him. When I needed a wisdom tooth removed, his lovely staff (Jasy is so great!) looked around Van to ensure I got the best oral surgeon who would accept my insurance. I can't recommend Dr. choy enough!
