WOW! So I booked a cleaning with a hygienist and I arrive to sit down and be told that this was just a "consultation" (a word that was NEVER used on the phone) I said specifically I need a cleaning my teeth have grey/brown spots and I stopped smoking 3 weeks ago. Then Dr. Tortorella came in and looked in my mouth for about 15 seconds, I explained I would like to fix all my teeth and get my mouth clean. He acted VERY awkward because the last time they booked me for an appointment and said it was a cleaning (I had already had an initial exam done, x-rays, the works) the same problem occurred, it was a "consultation" of what teeth I wanted to work on first (while doing nothing that day but only planning for the future). So I did leave in a bad mood, although acting nice to everyone. So, after I say yes I want my teeth fixed and cleaned, he said "ok we will book you" in a monotone voice. He did NOT shake my hand, or say goodbye, or ANYTHING. He rolled out of my view as I got up off the char and walked off. Then before making an appointment for me he ran into a room, and said "Janet" (the secretary that was JUST about to book me) she said to me "sorry, I will be right back". He obviously said something to her because the EARLIEST appointment I could get she said was for September 12th!!! That is one MONTH and SIX days away. I had my girlfriend call to book an appointment, and OH, there is a hygienist open tomorrow at 2:30 pm. I don't even know what to say, my mind is blown.

I started here after reading the reviews. I had no known references. I found the office staff friendly and thorough in their follow up, as well as in their communication. Ashley is an awesome dental hygienist! Dr. Tortorella fixed a problem that two other dentists couldn’t fix. He is down-to-earth and knowledgeable.

I took careful time and consideration when I was searching for a new dentist when we moved to Niagara Falls, since we have 3 children, 2 of which have Autism. Not only were we treated with respect when I called to inquire, but they eased my oldest son into the dental process slowly with no ifs,ands or buts. Their staff has always made us feel comfortable since we began being Dr. Totorella's patients, and we cannot thank them enough for their patience and support. Also, having the option for my children to have dental work done under anesthetic in the office has been such a help, that we have used twice! Great Dentist and staff!

First off. I would like to thank Dr. Tortorella and his amazing staff for all the care they provide and the way they treat all their patients. Everyone is so polite and kind. You don’t see that to often. I’ve been going to Dr Tortorella for 5 years or more. They always have made me feel welcome from day one. I find his rates are good, he doesn’t over charge. I used to have anxiety when going to the dentist. I wasn’t sure if it was the anxiety of what they needed to do or if it was cost of the procedure. He puts you at easy with both concerns. I would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone. Whether you are 2 or 92. Dr. Tortorella by far is one of the best dentists around. Just book an appointment and you’ll see. Just like all the other reviews, he is very well respected, just like him and his staff are.

Our family has been very pleased with the professional care of dentistry Dr. Tortorella and his staff have provided over the years. The assistants and hygienists are very knowledgeable about the dental procedures and have high standards when it comes to the care and maintenance of our teeth. I have a low tolerance for pain and "that dental chair" has on occasion caused some anxiety, however, Dr. Tortorella and his staff have always been sensitive to that fact and consistently made me comfortable and "somewhat" relaxed!! We are also pleased with the consideration shown by the office staff: the friendly phone reminders, the assistance in payments and the accommodation in changing appointments for our sons who live out of town!! Most importantly: These dentists are all in on a big scam, Tortorella charged my insurance and I NEVER saw him (first visit) I was charged $256 for x-rays and a visual examination. Secondly, they WANT to give you a root canal AND DRILL TOO CLOSE TO THE NERVE ON PURPOSE SO THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN. (Their excuse is "I had to get rid of all the decay, when another 3D x-ray I had showed he drilled ~1.82111mm closer to the nerve then he had to). Then told me that once a cavity is past the enamel (which is the definition of a cavity, "decay past the enamel" and close to the nerve it will probably need a root canal, so after I was told this I had a gut feeling he was going to drill too close to the nerve so that this had to be done, so I walked out. They messed up FIVE appointments, last one today I went in for a cleaning and filling, but apparently I was only booked for a filling, I have proof it was for a cleaning/filling from my recorded phone call. The best, non lying accurate dentist I have found so far is "Kim Brian Dr" Dentist in Niagara Falls, Ontario Address: 3770 Montrose Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2H 3K3 Save yourself and your family's teeth from being destroyed by Tortorella's outdated dentist drills and all of their triangle scheme of dentists, outdated office (first sign of a bad dentist, with outdated equipment second sign worst dentist). If your going to respond to this, tell us the brand & model # of your drills, if not, there you go everyone, more proof.

I have been going to this dentist office since I was a little girl. Once my dentist retired, I stayed with this office when Dr. Tortorella became the new dentist because the staff there is so amazing! To begin, I have never waited more than 5 minutes to get in for my appointment. Their scheduling is impeccable. I have a very hectic schedule and Janet (the receptionist) is always so accommodating with me whether it be rescheduling my appointment (which happens often!), calling me to remind me of my appointment and forgiving me if I forgot I even had an appointment (this happened once lol!). I usually have Mary as my dental hygienist but I am always open to using other ones as well. No matter if it is Mary or a newer one (I was there last week and had Katelyn), they are always so friendly and chatty, making sure I am comfortable and not in any pain at all. I always get asked what flavours I would prefer and do not get reprimanded for always forgetting to floss (I know I know it should be done!). At the end of every appointment, Dr. Tortorella comes in to do a check on my teeth and he is always very pleasant, asking me about my teaching career, how my other projects are going and taking his time to answer any questions I may have. If have to come back for additional work on my teeth with Dr. Tortorella, he is usually assisted by Andrea who is always so cheery, talkative and reassuring. The staff at this office is always professional yet they make you feel so comfortable that going to the dentist is not a pain but a pleasure. I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a positive change in the way their teeth are cleaned. As you can tell, they treat all of their patients like family and I wouldn't go to any other dentist office in the city :)

We have a somewhat unique relationship with "Dr. Andrew" (what he had told our children to call him 12-15 years ago)! Dr. Tortorella was our family dentist when he had opened a practice in the Mississauga area. We were very disappointed when he wound down that practice and returned to the Niagara Falls area full time. However, when I retired three years ago, my husband and I moved to the Niagara Region (Ridgeway, more specifically) and, as happens when you relocate, were suddenly in need of having to again search out the services of a family dentist, physician, etc. A dental emergency (an old filling that had fallen out) had me scrambling to find a dentist! I was greatly relieved to have recalled Dr. Tortorella's practice location and proceeded to track him down! As had been my experience in Mississauga, "Dr. Andrew" and his staff/associates were most accommodating and attentive, seeing me quickly and effectively dealing with my minor dental crisis. Since then, I have been back for a regular cleaning, some crown work and another "emergency" for an infection. I have and will continue to give Dr. Tortorella and Team the highest of recommendations! . . . . . I didn't know how to write this review so I got my gf to do it for me lol..I have been with Dr.Tortorella for about 2 years now and he is the greatest dentist I have ever had. I was terriefied before to go to the dentist because of the needles, but with Dr. Tototella I have not felt one needle and have no fear and anxiety, what more could you ask for, besides doing great work on my teeth lol, i have recommended him to my friends and family and if anyone is looking for a new dentist i strongly recommend him and his office staff are the nicest. Fortunately, I found Dr. Tortorella's office and I am now able to have regular appointments without being terrified thanks to the incredible staff there! An extra bonus, for people like myself, is that I can sleep while any procedures are performed!

even though going to the dentist is not on my bucket list, the service and the clinical work at doctor tortorella's office is excellent..the selection of magazines is awesome and takes your mind off of the torture that awaits..i am not sure who does the work on me but she is a conversationalist, which while on that chair I am not..but she makes it seem actually better than it is and when you are my age and your gums are extremely tender..anything helps..although a selection of booze shots prior to taking the chair would be a welcome distraction as well..but you cant have everything..the receptionist has a supremely distinctive voice and never has to tell me her name when she calls..i know its janet without any help...she is extremely professional and courteous and will cancel an appointment without any fuss when necessary...all In all...none of this makes me look forward to my visit at the dentist office but it makes it much easier to handle..keep up the great work

Dr.Tortorella and all of his staff are amazing. They are so friendly and kind. Everyone that works there is professional and fantastic at their job. I went there a few years ago urgently in a lot of pain and was treated so kindly and quickly. In the past my children had a few bad experiences with other dentists but Dr.Tortorella and all the staff have helped my children forget about those times. My children are both put under to have their treatments done. However the last two times my son has been able to be awake for his appointments. He is able to do this because how incredible Dr.Tortorella and all the staff are. I have recommend Dr.Tortorella to everyone I know and will continue to do so. I struggle with Neuralgia on the left side of my face and they always do everything to keep me comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about everyone who works there! I highly recommend this office for people with anxiety. I needed to find a dentist for my family. Someone who would work well with small children. As well as an adult with severe anxiety. I found that a more at this office. They are kind and thoughtful and considerate. My fear of the dentist has definitely been squashed. I look forward to my next cleaning!!
