Amazing service and very compassionate staff. The care I received was impeccable and I didn't feel any pain as the dentist pulled two teeth (including an impacted wisdom tooth) out of my head. I'll definitely be returning again, and actually look forward to it despite having been afraid of dentists since I was a kid.

Absolute saints. My insurance was a nightmare but the dental assistances and dentist were so kind, understanding, and patient with me. Especially Moni; an angel. I really appreciated them for this and they did an excellent job with my teeth, as well as listening to my needs and concerns. Can’t recommend them enough :)

It was a horrible experience when I did tooth filling on the past Monday. It was not my first visit to the dental office, and they were trying to charge me the first time visit fee. The did 4 X-rays on my teeth completely wrong when the first time she did it. She had to do completely over again. I understand that part, maybe she is just completely new. Then when I had questions about the amount they claimed to my insurance company.... So I got filling done for 2 of my teeth, one is charged for 155 dollars, and the other one was charged for 274 dollars. Which should be 429 in total. However, I went home checked on the insurance website, it shows they claimed 2 fillings, and 274 each, which was not the correct amount. So I went to the dental office and try to have an explanation from them, the 2 receptionists were polite and trying to explain to me. Then, one of the dentists came out and acted like I understand nothing....She was rude for sure. When I tried to ask more questions, she was like maybe there is a problem on your computer end..... Maybe it's the insurance company.... To me, it is not professional at all. I just needed an explanation and she gave me a lot of maybes, which was non-sense. Maybe English is not my first language, but my English is proficient enough to communicate. She did not have to talk to me as I am retarded and be so rude... I will just call my insurance company and figure out what went wrong.. So my conclusion is that the place not recommended. You can find some nicer places...

Dr meshack, sam, and the front desk crew were all so amazing to me and my 5 year old daughter. My daughter normally wouldn't let a dentist touch her but he was able to give a needle and pull the tooth and he and the staff were so good with her. Will be going here forever

Went there because of wisdom tooth and thankfully they still offer walk-ins. Everything was done efficiently. Waiting time wasn't too long. I was expecting the dentist to help reduce the inflammation but they did a check and told me I need to extract it so everything was done within one hour. They were careful and patient. Price was good as well.

Dr. Rufus Meshack was the best possible Dentist I could have found in St. Johns. I had all my wisdom teeth removed from him and it was flawless. I had toothache in the morning and I called Summerville Dental and was given an appt in the afternoon. The Dr. realized I needed extraction and performed it immediately. It was done ASAP and was probably the best and quickest doctors appt I ever had. 100% would recommend.

I haven't been to the dentist in like forever but Dr. Rufus and the team made me feel very comfortable. They are super nice, friendly and polite. I received more cleanings than covered by my insurance, at no extra cost, and some fillings. They make me want to visit the dentist again. As I asked him, he did my fillings without any needle and I didn’t feel any pain. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable too. The hygienist, Peggy, is also awesome! By the way, it is the closest dental office to MUN. Love this place!

I'm very disappointed, this place is seriously a rip-off. I went in for a full cleaning, and surprisingly I came out in less than 15 minutes just to find out they charged my insurance $370. I literally got nothing done and I wasted my insurance money. I then had to go to another insurance and pay out of my own pocket. This was just a waste of time and money

Care Dental has been amazing. The staff is awesome, caring and kind. The Dentist is great at explaining what he needs to do, what it will feel like, and will stop immediately if you are uncomfortable. I highly recommend them. From the front to the back, you are treated with kindness and care.

Visited this dental office today at my classmate's recommendation. It was a really good experience! I got an emergency appointment on the same day after I told the receptionist that I had a bad wisdom tooth pain. It is walking distance from MUN. The office was very clean and my appointment was on time without waiting. Most importantly all staff and dentist were very nice and professional. The dentist took my bad wisdom teeth out without pain. I am not afraid dentist anymore and will be back for the other two.

After bad experiences as a child I had not been to a dentist in many years. I required some extractions including a wisdom tooth and I was terrified going in but everyone was great and they made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the exam and procedure. The receptionist was extremely helpful and tried extensively to contact my insurance company when there were issues (that were resolved satisfactorily). Everyone was very friendly and the work was done as well as I could have ever wished for. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have some dental work done.
