I was having a really bad toothache and didn't have a regular dentist so started calling a whole bunch of offices and Smile Dental called me back and organized everything for me to see an office that was open for emergencies during covid. Every time I step into this dentist, I am in for a great experience! The team of receptionists, doctor and hygienists all provide the most professional, thorough, and reliable help for my teeth. They, and Dr. Sushma Bajaj are friendly and they make you feel comfortable and at home. Also, they recommend and invite amazing specialists! I was 15 and very nervous to have my wisdom teeth removed, but they ensured that I had a relaxing procedure with sedation.

I found this place by walking in and asking questions. Ever since I have became their regular client about 7 years. I have done lots of dental work at this clinic. I have everything positive things to say about it. My dr is Dr Bajaj. She’s wonderful and she listens. She’d rather return a mould when it doesn’t fit slightly. She want absolute comfort for her patients. She never pushes. Sometimes she even tells me not to proceed when other area of my health is compromising the dental work. She refers to specialists when needed and she got a great team for every work needed. Over the years Dr Bajaj is more of family than a dentist to me. I have moved further from burnaby but I stick to smile dental. They got the technology of all my films, teeth pictures, works done when and how well it’s done. You can have 100% trust on Dr Bajaj. But the Asian male dentist who extracted my tooth, I can not say the same about him. After removing my tooth, I reminded him to go back the socket and remove the ligament attached to that tooth, he refused and said that’s not necessary. Later I got infection and went to another doctor redo it. Cost me $280 extra for something I knew I was right and he chose not to listen. You always need to remove the ligament after a tooth extraction! I hate myself not insisting on this. PS, wherever you visit, do yourself a favour: NEVER ever use mercury/silver fillings. That’s the beginning of all health problems. You will thank me for this simple advice.

My surgeon, Dr. Yi Xing, did an excellent job, and everything about my procedures was explained to me in geat detail. I took my mom for a tooth extraction, the worst experience she ever had at a dentist office. Dr Kim did the extraction, rude, very impolite, the whole time he was yelling to his assistant, he also started to behave very rude with my mom, (zero empathy for patients). Going to the dentist its not a pleasant experience and Dr Kim made it even worst. Not very skillful neither, very unfortunate experience. In the follow up visit he was very pushy and tried to force us to get a teeth cleaning, when we decline he just left the room even without saying goodbye or thanks. On the top of that he charged a lot of money for the procedure. However I have to say that the front desk girls are super friendly warm and helpful. Unfortunately the rudeness and zero care about the pacients of Dr Kim ruin the whole experience, I would never recommend to someone to go to that place for dental services.

I love my fixed front tooth! I recently chipped my front tooth and looked absolutely ridiculous. I was worried getting it fixed would look ' fake' and there would be discoloration between my real tooth colour and the material of the new tooth. But, it was a perfect match! Dr. Bajaj did a wonderful job and no one would be none the wiser. I would highly recommend Dr. Bajaj to anyone looking for an emergency fix or long term treatment. Great service, team and the doctor. My experience with the clinic has been an honest and genuine oral care. I was impressed by the technology used and how fast you can see your x-rays. My old dentist had used the old way to x-ray and some times it has been hit and miss.

I have been going to smile dental since it opened. Almost nine years of different types of treatment. From root canals, Invisalign , cleanings, and fillings the office has been great. From time to time they show the levels of appreciation by sending a card or a little present for thanks for being a part of their community. Through small talk with dr. Bajaj I had told her about a promotion at work. My wife had a cleaning a few days later following and came home with a card and movie passes for congratulations. Nice touch !!! Dr. Bajaj has referred me to the correct specialist when I needed treatment that her office did not preform. I have been pleased with all my visits with them. The hygiene department is wonderful to deal with I see them every 3mths. The office standards prompt and never let me forget about up coming apointments.
