I had a composite build-up on a tooth. It chipped less than 3 months later and they charged me to repair it. It shouldn't have chipped so shortly after being applied in the first place, so why on Earth should I pay for their mistake or poor job of applying it? I was told it would last 5+ years. It's annoying enough that I had to come back in to get it fixed. I explained this to them and they had nothing to say and billed me anyways. My insurance company is now investigating them (and I hadn't even contacted them about it). It's just not a very nice gesture to do to your client of 7+ years, but they just want money. They have one really nice receptionist that usually helps me, however, I will not return and have found a new dentist.

Our dentist was in Vancouver before & the booking there is awful. I was not happy with their service either so I decided to look for a dentist closer to home! I am very glad that I found the ROYAL CITY DENTAL CLINIC my whole family is now enjoying the quality service & the friendliness of the staff starting from the receptionist, dental assistant & their dentists. I do not have to get stress out in booking compared to our previous dentist, it seems like you are begging them to have an appointment & its' like 2 or 3 months down the road. Here in RCFD you can book as soon as you want, the waiting time is very efficient - can go in at the booked time & while waiting, the space is very relaxing & spacious. My kids are loving going to their dentist because its very welcoming & dentist are very nice & gentle. My daughter worst fear was going to the dentist before as her gums were bleeding, suspended in a chair & I think the service was not pleasant. We had been here in RCFD for almost 4 years & enjoying their excellent customer service as well as dental services with Dr. Lalani, Dr. Ghadiri & Dr. Sonja. As a family of 5, we value their services & recommend this Dental office for families with young kids like ours! Thank you for looking after our dental needs ROYAL CITY FAMILY DENTAL!!!

Revolving door for doctors. Make an appointment with one and end up getting someone else. I have a phobia to needles and they suggested giving me something to calm me. When I got there an hour early with my parents (keeping in mind I am an adult and this is what they told me to do) They said I dont need the pill and to just wait for my appointment. I dont take pills at all.. but my phobia is pretty intense so if you're gonna switch up what was discussed at the last appointment you can best be assured I wont be coming back. FINALLY!!!! I dont know how many times they call you to confirm you are coming in. 6 times within 2 weeks before going is fricking extreme! How many times must I answer and say yes I am coming. My fiance cancelled his app because we couldnt afford it and said he will call them to set up a date. AFTER A HOUR OF LEAVING THEIR OFFICE!!!! THEY CALL MY PHONE TO SET UP THE APPOINTMENT. Money Hungry Dentist. that doesnt have enough clients. That's what you get here. I've told them countless times to stop calling my phone and harassing me because i am with a new dentist and they still call for me asking to set up something for me and my fiance. EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE HIS NUMBER AND I SAID DO NOT CALL ME FOR HIM!!! and reception is ridiculous they hang up the phone on you after you try to find out who the owner is to try and arrange calls being stopped. I wouldnt have written a review but they wont stop calling I think my last appointment was 2 years ago with them. NON STOP CALLING! I'd advise you to not provide your number if you dont want to get spammed with calls. Also this is not a place for kids since they cant deal with phobias. ALSO! they wont do any extractions.. always saying you need a specialist for this and that. Go somewhere else where they do extractions all in one place. This place is a joke. and to the owner... Blame your staff for not giving me a way of contacting you and dealing with this.. OR just stopping calls to my phone all together. UPDATE: got more calls since this was posted... one of the ladies called from a different number so we answered and she spammed me some more. I said not sure what you want me to say we arent interested i've said do not call and you still call.. she said it was never noted on their end to not call.. LOL!!!! YAH RIGHT!

I found them to be quite friendly. Everyone knew their positions. They took me as walk in emergency. They were very understanding of my anxiety and fear of the dentist due to a bad past experience. I was checked on during the procedure (root canal) which was very comforting. All in all, I really recommend :)

Because of my sensitivity and intolerance to most medications it was basically impossible to have any dental work done . I went from dentist to dentist and always the same answer , no, we cannot help . Until I meet dr Sonja in 2015 . Sonja took me in her care and without any medication .repear all my teeth. She was absolutely amazing, caring and she was so gentle without freezing , . Sonja is first dentist in my life I feel 100 %comfortable . My previoius deep cleaning experience was terrible . I was in pain weeks after , needing antibiotics etc . Big surprise when I meet hygienist Brandi . She explained to me I am also allergic to toothpaste and mouthwash . She deep clean with out any pain like previous ., I found two amazing ladies I trust fully . Also receptionists are very helpful,, always very friendly , I never wait in the office . Everything always on time . Carmen is my favorite . Always big smile , very , very helpful . Thank you Sonja , Brandi and Carmen for your amazing job you are truly appreciated . You ladies saved my teeth and I will be your follower for rest of my life , Thank you Irena .

Dr Sonja is just the best! I had a gum infection because of a bad tooth, not only was she an extremely competent and thorough dentist, but she stayed after hours to fix my tooth. She went above and beyond for me. Been going there for about a year and a half now and I have no complaints.

My teeth had spaces and my upper incisors were pointed, and it embarrassed me when I laugh or smile. Then I began to seek help . I visited several dental offices. One dentist told me he do in plant to fix my problem. He requested that I make a make a down payment of the entire amount before he could do the surgery. Another dentist told me my teeth could be straightened only by braces. He also told me he had been a dentist well over 25 years. I got tempted to be his patient, but his price was high and his payment was was out of my range. Then one day, I walked through the door of Royal City Dental. It felt different. The staff and the dentist , they trested me like family. At some point during our conversation, I mention that I needed a second opinion regarding getting my teeth fixed. Actually, I said it casually not ecpecting anything to out of the ordinary. One of the receiptionists began to assure me that Invisalign could be the right choice for me. I didn't take her advise seriously considering how spacious and pointed at my teeth were. The dentist himself joined the conversation. He told me to give him a chance and I won't regret. I did consented casually maybe because his payment plan was by far better than previous dentists. I give it a shot , not knowing what to expect, But surprisingly, the spaces between my teeth disappear faster thanti ever imagine . Moreover, my smile is at it's best. Royal City Dental has given me something I couldn't get from elsewhere. They are very warm, and frienfly . They treat patients like family. Very flexible in regards to scheduling. I give the Royal City Dental Clinic Five Stsrs because they prove to me that they are there best. I am so plessep with the treatment my family and i received over the years. I recommend this c linicl to anyone who want the bedt of service for their money's worth . I'm so please with the result of my treatment, and I know you will be too. They are good. They are excellent! They are the best! And do deserve a Five Star. Please keep up the good work. I am proud of you all, Team Royal.

Saw the dental hygienist but she was too much. Asked if I flossed and admitted to sometimes and pressured to buy electric tooth brush. Seeing the hygienist is very stressful and would recommend cut down on the lectures. Was uncomfortable with dentist getting fillings done. Office kept calling and asked me to do appointment and finally told them it was due to hygienist who was too pushy about my habits. Had a dentist who did everything years before and he retired and he was never pushy, and lecturing all the time.

I am patient of Royal city Dental since June 2015 and I am so happy, Because Receptionists are so polite and kind and very helpful to patients.I really appreciate from Sharon and Carmen also Dr.Sonja my Dentist and other two Ladies are so professional kind respectful and always helping the patients.Also Evangeline Ansa are anothers Receptionist very kind and helpful.Also I am happy about my two Hygienists Sophia and Brandi they are good at job and very kind and good experience.

I have been going here for near twenty years now, often new people but ALWAYS very nice and professional. They finally convinced me to buy a waterpick and I wish I had listened years earlier. Price wise they are as good (or bad) as anyone else since they all use the same diagnostic manual. I have recommended them to friends over the years and have NO hesitation recommending them to strangers :)
