I have just moved back to New Westminster, after 10 years away, living in Burnaby - Queen Park Dental was strongly recommended to me by my previous Dentist. it is my practice to have a check-up and cleaning twice-a-year. My first visit (check-up) to QPD was March 13, 2019 - my good fortune was to have Hygienist, Leslie, work on me - amazing - the consummate professional; so knowledgeable, efficient, gentle - in a word "perfect." Anyway to cut a long story short - some problems were identified, by Leslie, and confirmed by Dr. Murphy. So, on Apr. 10th 2019, I returned for Dr. Murphy to do the required remedial work - I repeat myself "Amazing again," so professional is Dr.Murphy - put me at ease, and asked me often during the procedure if I was "comfortable? I was - procedures were explained and smoothly carried-out. The Good Doctor was fast, but not hurried - it's his style - I think he understands how (helpless) we feel reclined in "the chair." All procedures, were smoothly and painlessly administered - from freezing injection, to "We're done!" Kudos too, to chair-side Assistant Michelle - further testimony to how well trained all the staff are. The Fee schedule? Taken within the context of the professional work done, and results achieved - an amazing bargain - even a quote offered, before the work is done. Queens Park Dental has just won a patient for - my life. I have absolutely no hesitation in strongly recommending them. You'll love the facilities, and the staff - all amazing - everyone, from the delightful Receptionists - to the professional Dentists. I'll be back there in September...And happily attach my full name. Peter Marshall.

Dr. Murphy and his team are always upbeat and professional. I'm grateful that they are concerned about my comfort even during the most uncomfortable procedures, such as getting an implant. And are willing to joke around with me if only to help me feel less anxious. I also appreciate that he tries to be as fair as he can with pricing and won't do extraneous work or charge extra for anything he doesn't need to. Dental work is expensive, but I feel a little less overwhelmed by it when I know my money is going towards good people in exchange for good work.

Dr. Murphy is a very good dentist with a deft touch and he's a sincere and intelligent man. I've had good treatment there. When I got dry socket he treated it and didn't even charge me. This last visit they were running a little late and they gave me a Tim Horton's card worth $10.00. I really appreciated it. They were only about ten minutes late. Murphy has a very successful practice because of that kind of thoughtfulness. His fee schedule it in line with the guidelines of the College of Dental Surgeons of BC. I had extensive work done at his office. It needed to be done. The front desk are nice people and the hygienist is very competent and genuine. They are well located on 6th Street and I always have been able to get parking in front or close. All told I can recommend Dr. Murphy and his staff.

The dental hygienist was incredibly helpful. When I mentioned that my insurance policy only covered 70% of the cost, she was happy to help me reduce costs where possible. She was kind and understanding of my financial situation. In past experiences with other dental clinics, I've felt pressured to comply with all of their recommendations/standard procedures. The dental hygienist helped me determine which treatments were necessary and which could be forgone, ultimately halving the cost that I would have to pay out of pocket. The entire time I felt that she truly had my best interests at heart.

My wife went here after all the high ratings on their site. Obviously those are made up. Everyone is friendly but the dentists are incompetent. My wife went and had fillings done here . The dentist rushed through 5 fillings in about an hour. After months of sensitivity, my wife visited my dentist office in Vancouver and he said there was cavities under the fillings that were done! That was money out of my pocket. My wife was really happy to leave this office and find someone who spends time to take care of her teeth! Please save your time and money and go to a proper dentist!

It was my first visit to Queen's Park Dental clinic. I found the staff quite cooperative and friendly. The doctors are highly skilled and without any doubt the not only expertise level is very high but also caring attitude is highly commendable. The work of doctor was cross checked by second doctor and both of them briefed me in detail about the procedure done over my denture. They welcomed all my queries and listened about my concerns with patience. Their attitude was very friendly. I would like to recommend Queen's Park Dental clinic as a top facility of the town. Going to the Dentist has always terrified me! This was my first visit/exam & consultation. Everyone was wonderful at Queen’s Park Dental from the moment I stepped into their office. Dr. Laing is very Beautiful & Caring and she was very thorough with her examination...explaining everything to me in detail and showing my pictures as my case is pretty complicated. I finally had to get a new dentist, and after hearing horror stories I was concerned - but Queens Park has been nothing but wonderful. From the beginning they took into consideration my lack of dental coverage, and then once I had coverage worked with me to create a plan that worked for me while also prioritizing the best dental care possible. The staff are always friendly, and both dentists I have seen have been great. The care itself is never overly painful (obviously there is some discomfort when they are poking and prodding, but nothing obscene).

Sooo good. Comfortable as ever, Dr. Saran was so kind and gentle, and did an amazing job fixing my toofs (freezing is still wearing off, sorry). The high speed drills are excellent quality, and you can barely feel the vibration. I wish I had one for my work in the machine shop. Can't wait to go back tomorrow to have the other side done. Fun fun! Highly recommend.

The customer service at this office has gone down hill over the past year. They have a 48 hour cancellation policy but called me last month a day before my appointment to cancel. So if you charge $200 for last minute cancelation then you should compensate for cancelling my appointment as well. All I was told was the hygienist was not in. The Asian dentist that works here is very condescending to her staff. Seems like this office runs like a business and not a dental clinic.
