Dr. Lam is such a knowledgeable and lovely dentist. Shout out to his amazing staff, Tracey, Michelle, Mary-Ann and Lindsay. They always make me feel comfortable whenever I come in for my appointment.

I've been seeing Dr. Jeffrey Lam and his team for a few years now, since I moved to BC, and have had nothing but positive experiences. From the get-go, his reception staff are SUPER friendly, both on the phone and in person while you wait. Dr. Jeffrey Lam is amazing to deal with. He understands patients needs and seems very genuine and caring about your health and well-being. He's not judgmental or pushy, but does an excellent job of explaining things so you understand. My sister goes to him as well and she has a pretty intense anxiety disorder and Dr. Lam is so wonderful and patient and kind with her that she no longer fears going to the dentist as she has for basically her entire life until him. I've recently started seeing the hygienist during my cleaning visits and she's wonderful as well. Super friendly, and always remembers the little things that we talked about previously (if I had talked about an upcoming vacation on my last visit, or something about my personal life, etc.) she remembers and asks me about it the next time I see her. They're very accommodating to emergency situations as well, and Dr. Lam or his staff will gladly talk to you over the phone about any issues you're having and has even just phoned in a new or refill prescription to a pharmacy for me to avoid me having to pay him for an emergency visit if its not necessary. Being without dental insurance, I really appreciate how he does whatever he can to keep my costs to a minimum while still providing excellent care. Bottom line (and sorry for the lengthy review but honestly I could fill a book with all the great things about this team) I highly recommend this Dental Group. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would ;)

I have been going to Dr Lam for a number of years now. From the absolute get go he and his team have been exceptional. The ladies at the desk, Tracy and Maryanne, are so friendly and never judgmental if I have to reschedule. The hygienist Michelle is amazing. I hang on for dear life waiting for the little pain to hit because I am hypersensitive, and it never does. The job is always really well done. She remembers all the little things about my life and is just wonderful to chat with. Dr. Lam himself has gone above and beyond in helping me out when my veneer cracked in half. Your worst nightmare!!! He did not do the original work but was tasked with matching the size, colour and rebuilding my mouth and a he did an absolutely amazing job. All the while consulting and calming me down. I was referred to Dr. Lam's office by one of his patients and I am so glad I was. My husband, my friends, and I will continue to refer him to anyone that wants a professional, friendly, and excellent dental experience. Caroline Fraser-Derrick

I've been a long time patient of Dr. Lam, started with Dr. R Lam and now his son Jeffrey has taken over the practice. It's a great clinic, the receptionist is friendly and appointments are made with no fuss. Dr. Jeffrey is always on time. I've been to clinics where I sat around waiting a long time for the dentist to do their "thing". However Dr. Lam is super efficient, I'm done within 30 minutes tops. I enjoy my visits and Dr. Lam makes it totally stress free :) I highly recommend New Westminster Dental Group.

I've been going to Dr. Jeff Lam for a few years now and would highly recommend him. He's very personable and really gets to know each of his patients. Everyone in my family now goes to him. He's amazing with our kids and takes the time to educate them on good dental habits. I was impressed with the way he handled my challenging dental issues with a lot of skill and I could see that he takes a lot of pride in his work. The hygienists and reception staff are also super friendly and take the time to get to know you as well. Their office is now in a new location and all their equipment is updated. Overall, dentist appointments are a really pleasant experience at New West Dental Group.

I've had multiple dentists and I can say that Dr Jeffery Lam is my favourite! He is a very honest guy and really knows what he's doing. I had a horrible tooth infection for years and he was able to get rid of it shortly after going to him! Highly recommend!!! Bringing my entire family here!

I love that Dr Jeffery has followed in his father's footsteps and has maintained the practice with an honest and caring personality. I've had some procedures done by Dr. Lam now, and I am very pleased with his work. I can tell that he is doing this because he genuinely cares about helping people. He fixed some bad root canals I had done by another dentist, and he was much smoother. Unlike the previous work I had done, there was very little soreness after my appointment with Dr. Lam. He and his staff have very comforting chairside manner, and Tracy at the front desk was very accomodating to my scheduling needs. I feel like I am in good hands with Dr. Lam and his staff.

It’s always been a pleasure coming to see them for my dental check-ups. Dr.Lam is personable, funny and knowledgeable. They also have a beautifully updated office which adds to the experience. Dr.Lam and his staff are awesome. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist (who is I guess), but I don't have any anxiety when getting work done at this dental office. The ladies at the desk are really nice as well. Better prices than my previous dentist too!

I always had a difficult time with dentists but It’s a completely different experience with Dr Jeffrey Lam. He is amazing at making people feel comfortable, he does not try to sell you unnecessary procedures. His staff is genuinely helpful, caring and nice. Best dentist I’ve ever had !
