Peggy has made an incredible impact on my life. As for years I had suffered from sleep apnea and drove everyone away with loud snoring. In June of 2015 I was scheduled for jaw surgery in Halifax . It would have had me off work for 12 plus weeks and it was risky. Through a close friend I heard of her work treating sleep apnea. After one visit to her I recognized her as a medical professional that wants to make a difference. Today my life is more manageable and I do not snore. I spend quality time with family and friends and enjoy going to work versus spending many years trying to catch up on sleep that I could never achieve. Thanks Peggy and your team!

I’ve been going to Dr.Bown for a year. Very professional and thorough. Makes you feel very comfortable. Started Invisalign the end of August and was amazed at the differenice in my teeth in 6 months! I cried when I saw the difference and how she worked on my front teeth to make them smooth and appear more “normal looking”. I can’t wait til the end of May. There will be a celebration in the office for sure! I also love how my teeth feel when I take the trays off and I run my fingers over my straightened teeth ???? Oh and the staff is top notch too! They are on the cutting edge of technology. "Dr. Peggy" is also well versed and trained in sleep apnea. A bit overpriced, likely not necessary but Dr. Bown is a fabulous dentist. Coming from someone who is highly anxious and terrified of going to the Dentist, I can assure you that you will be fine here. Stefan must never retire! I'm not kidding, Stefan can actually tell where the sensitive spots are on your teeth and (get this!)...he doesn't touch them! Praise Jesus! He doesn't even spray cold water directly on my teeth. I thought maybe it was a fluke the first time he cleaned my teeth but after years I can say with certainty he has an honest to goodness super power. It's miraculous. On top of that, he's such a pleasant person. Even with a mask on you can always tell he's smiling.

We were looking for not only for a state of the art dentist, but also a Dental hygienist for my wife and Down Syndrome daughter Jennifer. It is "Painless Peggy". That is because she stays on top of all the modern day technology of dentistry. Peggy believes that dental visits shouldn't be traumatic. I have heard and seen with my own eyes how she and her staff have made patients feel as comfortable as possible, especially children. I have had crooked teeth all my life, I called them my 70's teeth. Back then only the rich had braces. That all ended yesterday. Yesterday Dr. Peggy Bown performed the final touches of my knew Straight Teeth. A journey that started a long time ago. After a battle with gum disease that I needed correcting before the straightening procedure, Peggy suggested Invisalign procedure to give me a Colgate smile. My wife and I both went through the process together. My teeth needed a little bit more care than Leslie's. We are both very pleased with our results. Les and I both wanted a natural looking smile. I can not say enough good things about this place! I called on a Monday in pain they had me in on Wednesday did a complex root canal on one of my molars from start to finish. Dr Peggy promised a pain free injection and she delivered! The atmosphere is like nothing I have experienced at any other dentist office and anyone that knows me knows I am not a fan of the dentist. For about a year or more, I was having neck pain and was waking with headaches that would last the entire day. I had tried everything to get help for the problem: massages, physiotherapy, doctor-prescribed anti-inflammatory medication, a new expensive pillow, and more. Nothing worked and I was suffering with increasingly frequent headaches. When I went to see Dr. Bown and her team for another issue, I just casually mentioned my ongoing ordeal. She was immediately convinced she could help me. With nothing to lose, I gave it a shot. She made me a sleep device that has literally changed my life. By setting my jaw into an optimal position, my neck, back and shoulder pain (along with the headaches) have completely gone away! I can't believe it! I wasn't convinced at first that a dentist could actually fix this problem, but I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised! Every morning I am grateful to wake up feeling more rested than ever and pain-free! Thank you Dr. Bown and your team for seriously changing my life! Fantastic experience. Front desk staff are friendly and greet you by name. The new client experience is something else. I can genuinely say that I have never had such a thorough dental exam in my LIFE. 3D Scans, photo records and a panoramic x-ray of your teeth are just the beginning. My hygienist was friendly and reassuring and although I know there is a schedule and a time table, I never felt rushed. Today I had an old filling that had to be removed and replaced. Zero pain. The sound of the drill is less than awesome, but that can't be helped. It was also kind of ... boring. Which is -- HONESTLY -- the best thing you can say about a dental procedure like that! Even the chair is comfy -- there's a cushion for behind your knees so your back has some support. Dr. Anna and her assistant took excellent care of me.

Peggy and her team have been taking care of me and my family since 2004. My teeth have always been a priority, and after a bad accident in 2004, I thought i would lose my 4 top front teeth , I didn't lose any thanks to Peggy and her assistant Suzanne. Dr Bown and her whole fantastic team now work out of the old Harveys Hambuger building on Rothesay Ave..... Check out that place...complete reno ... you think and feel like your in a Spa, not only that Dr Bown has the most leading edge equipment. she also continues her training/courses/degrees/certifcations. Here is what she has done for us and i'm pobably missing lots, a complete makeover due to illness on a family member, bridges, crowns, whitening, a tooth implant which I believed very serious was eazy pizee. She also takes my parents who are very senior and makes them feel wonderful.... Thank You Just a HUGE shout out to all , What a GREAT Team you have, Keep up that positive vibe you give every single patient.

I have a long history of having experiences with doctors/health professionals. When I come across a good one like Peggy Bown, she more than deserves to be recognized for her outstanding service. It is very rare that you come across someone like Peggy, who is truly "in tune" and caring about her patients. She's funny, smart, beautiful and thoughtful. I love that she is on top of the latest technology, and she is always sourcing out the right treatment for her patients. I am deathly terrified of needles, and she takes her time, makes some jokes or good conversations to keep my mind at ease. She doesn't rush the process and knows how to sooth a nervous patient. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my teeth now that I have Peggy and her staff. Her staff are all amazing, very warm and friendly, you can tell they are happy working with each other.
