Nothing short of a joke. Been trying to add my wife to my coverage for nearly two months, and after sending off numerous papers and emails to them, I have yet to reach a resolution. The underwriting team keeps giving me the run around. Why wait until everything is basically complete before asking for more info. If bluecross wasn’t through my work, I would go elsewhere.

My wife was taken off work early for her pregnancy from her DR and Blue cross keeps declining her short term disablity,stating the Dr is not clarifying in depth of why she is off.....If a DR. takes you off who is Blue Cross to question it.she is now on her last chance of appeal and she hasn't received anything for over 2 months now.My Wife has to recoup from a c section while simultaneously caring for a premature baby and having to stress about not having pay cheque come in.We pay and pay into these benefits to have them available when needed,,,,NOT to have to fight to get them when needed

If I could put a negative amount of stars I would. I was off work for a month to take care of my son, my father is off work because he has severe cataracts in both eyes, and a friend is off work for mental/physical health struggles. All three of us unable to work and each of us were denied our claims because “there are no reasons we can’t work”. Does that make sense?? For something we pay into as part of our benefits package this is unacceptable. The amount of unprofessionalism within the entire company is shocking. We all look to them for help when we can’t help ourselves and they turn us away because we don’t meet standards. Just another example of how systems like this are flawed and corrupt. I wouldn’t hold your breath if anyone looks to them for any kind of help

Tried to fax a copy of RX and tried for 1solid hour then phone to see if right number yes was the right number said they were a little busy if your fax is that busy you shpould have more than one fax machine . very poor service murray

Don't call on a cordless phone. The battery will go dead before they take your call. Also make sure you go to the bathroom first. I am taking my business elsewhere.

Not impressed with their services. Been off work since April, here it is June and still haven't received anything. Partially due to my doctor taking her time to fill them out, but they have had the information for over a week now. Called for over a week and my caseworker didn't return my calls. Spoke to his team lead and she tells me it can be another week or so! She will try to have someone else look at it but they are busy.
