I haven't been a patient at docbraces Hatheway for over 10 years! When I called inquiring about getting a retainer made they were able to bring up my old files almost immediately. They also worked extremely hard to get me into the clinic quickly when I know they are very busy!

Recently went to get my new retainer made and was told 5-6 times what the price was of the retainer but 2 different staff. They seemed like they were unsure if I could pay for it. I found this very rude because they had told me the price on the phone when I made the appointment and I would not have made the appointment if I did not have the money to pay for it. I haven't been in there for years since I had braces but definitely won't be olooking forward to getting my bottom retainer done. Felt very degraded and uncomfortable.

The practice merged with the one with originally chose. Although I find the receptionist is as amazing as always, overall feeling of the practice has changed, losing the personal touch I originally really liked. That said, Dr. Instrum has gone out of her way to explain the merge and has reassured me that would be happier on our next visit. There are bumps along the road but I am sure things with smooth out.
