15 years ago was the last time I visited a dentist. A horrible experience prevented me from going back. Although a few issues started appearing in my mouth I did everything I could to prolong going to the dentist again. The fear of sitting in a dentist chair was too much for me to handle. Finally a tooth cracked and I couldn't avoid it any longer. After doing my due diligence I decided on Dr. Adrian Naqvi. I required a few visits for him to solve my problems. Nothing but good things to say. His professionalism and attention to detail are second to none. He was able to calm my anxieties and fear quickly. If you're looking for a dentist in Nelson I very highly recommend using his services!

Scott is the best dentist I've ever had! He is personable, skilled and detail-oriented making me feel comfortable and relaxed during procedures. The Kootenay Dental Arts building has also been beautifully renovated with up to date dental technology. Ive always had a pleasurable experience with the front desk. The girls are friendly and organized, they always let me know when I need a check up. I really appreciate such fantastic service. Thank you!

I had a molar removed by dr.naqvi yesterday, and was totally impressed by his knowledge, demeanor, and charm. I went to highschool with him and didn't know he worked here. He was the smartest kid in our grad class and it shows. Definitely someone I felt comfortable seeing with the forceps. And that clinic! Wow, super high-end but with the warm, kootenay touch of my favorite local painting icon John Cooper. Added bonus? I woke up the next morning with zero pain or swelling. Amazing experience.

I’m not in the habit of writing reviews, but after becoming a patient at Kootenay Dental Arts this past year and having had a second successful visit to have some fairly intensive dental work completed I feel compelled to share my experience. Although the procedure went extremely well I was expecting some major pain, swelling, and discomfort as soon as the freezing wore off. To my surprise there was absolutely none! What a completely different experience from my previous dentist visits. Dr. Adrian Naqvi’s skills are next level and his charming assistant Kristin kept me entertained and comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly and courteous. I’m so grateful to have such a professional and dedicated team looking after my dental needs!!

Dr Pentecost and his team are fantastic. My family and I have all had exceptional experiences with the front desk staff, hygienists and of course Dr Pentecost himself. Scott has been my dentist for around 10 years. He and his staff are all very professional and yet also personable. Scott is very relaxed (which is a great quality in a dentist), but he also displays an extraordinary attention to detail. I've used several dentists in the past and my experience with Scott is that there are ways in which he goes above and beyond what I had previously expected from a dentist.

I broke 2 teeth in an accident 40 years ago. Since then I’ve been through crowns, braces, partials and a bridge. Last week Dr. Pentecost replaced my bridge and, for the first time in 40 years, I love my smile! Nelson is so lucky to have a dentist of Scott’s caliber.

Dr. Pentecost is good at what he does and is nice to deal with. The front desk staff is the absolute worst and isn't worth anyone's time to be treated the way they treat their customer's!

Everytime my family and I have visited Kootenay Dental Arts we have had exceptional service. We are always warmly greeted by the front end staff. Dr. Navqui and Kristin were so wonderful with my six year old who had to have a tooth removed. He didnt even know he had a needle!
