I am a very nervous person in the dentist office, as a lot of people are. I have avoided going to the dentist because of this, as lots of people do. Wellington Dental Clinic was the absolute best experience I've ever had. The reception staff were very kind and made me feel totally welcome. They listened to all my concerns and made me feel confident that this clinic was the right choice. Dr Trudeau was very considerate, he took the time to listen to my past experience. He even went so far as to ask where my anxiety surrounding dental visits came from. This was something that I had never thought of. Seth was my hygienist and he made my cleaning very calm and anxiety free. The whole experience was actually wonderful, something I never thought I'd say. Trudeau and Seth both made sure that I knew that I could communicate to then if I needed them to stop which is where I think a lot of my anxiety comes from. I highly recommend this dental clinic.

Everyone at this clinic is helpful and caring. I have had a negative experience at a different Nanaimo clinic and so was very nervous when I first approached Wellington dental. But from the very beginning they were wonderful with helping me sort out my insurance and to feel comfortable and cared for. I’ve since started bringing my family in for their dental needs over the past year. Everyone is great with my children as well and I never feel nervous bringing them in.

Very poor receptionists. They made very clear the total cost was going to be $130.00 for the teeth cleaning. Then at the end of the cleaning they said “hold on a minute, the dentist wants to check something.” The total ends up being $260.00 because they charged $100 for the dentist to come in and check the teeth and x-rays. Pretty brutal. I wonder how many others they do this to on a daily basis. Honestly the worst receptionist. Has absolutely no brain.

My family has been going to Wellington Dental Clinic for many years. Better then 5 stars, they are by far 10 stars with Dr. Grewal's knowledge and support. The staff are friendly and helpful. My children are in great care and support for all their dental needs. Can't say enough amazing stuff about Wellington Dental Clinic! Very grateful.

Been going to Wellington for about 10 years now. I have had 3 different dentists over that time, but all 3 have been fabulous. My current dentist Dr Trudeau is wonderful, he's quick and does solid work, and his freezing is always 100%. Cleanings are thorough and painless. The front desk staff are always friendly and upbeat. Definitely recommend!

Front desk manager pushed hard for me to get a root canal done that the dentist I just saw at that appointment explicitly told me we should just monitor and not touch. Only reason for the two stars is that the hygenists and dentists have been great, but the front desk is the one that books all the procedures and the back does whatever is coded in the schedule. Huge red flags when the front desk with no dental training is saying I should book a costly and invasive procedure because "your insurance covers it." Fun side note, my partner also wrote a review about a different part of our negative experience and we got a call from them offering us an electric toothbrush or a giftcard to remove the other review. According to them they give electrical toothbrushes to everyone but we have been clients for 1.5 years and was never offered anything like this until the negative review on here, even though I was visibly upset at the appointment today. We found this place by looking at the google reviews so wanted to warn others. Be wary of the reviews that are here - how many negative reviews have been removed after the fact?

I love this place. Clean, professional, and the staff are very friendly. Harbinder is a nice lady and great to have a conversation with, she gives great advice, very knowledgeable lady. Dr.Grewal is an excellent dentist, well educated and such a funny guy, I always enjoy his jokes and the laughs over the years. They are both very down to earth people that make you feel comfortable at all times during your visit. The hygienist is awesome as well, he is also very nice, willing to initiate conversation and he does a great job, he is very gentle when cleaning your teeth. 5 stars from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Call them to discus your dental needs. Do not go anywhere else. This is the only dental clinic that I have ever felt good in. The staff are actually so nice, they are real people that are down to earth and seem genuinely happy. I had my consultation there today to have my wisdom teeth removed which they do every other friday. Much cheaper than going to the oral surgeon. Wellington dental all the way!

I had a great initial experience at this dental clinic, the hygienist took the time to know my medical history, she gave me some great tips on keeping my gums healthy. Dr. Trudeau was pleasant, professional and discussed in detail the results of his examination of my teeth and gums, which teeth require immediate attention and which teeth we need to keep an eye on moving forward. This information was consistent with previous Dental exams and I left feeling comfortable that I am in good hands with this team of professionals.

I had terrible experiences at the dentist growing up and used to be so nervous even to go in for a cleaning as an adult. Wellington Dental is a gentle dental office who talks you though what’s happening during the procedure and does what they can to make you more comfortable. Have worked with multiple dentists in the office and they are all so great and very gentle. I now don’t get nervous before visiting the dentist, which is saying a lot. I would not hesitate to recommend Wellington Dental, especially to anyone who gets nervous about going to the dentist.

Wellington Dental has been my dentist since I was a wee lad. They are always very welcoming and friendly and professional. The one thing I would recommend is that they upgrade and bring back the stand up arcade games in the lobby. Just had my wisdom teeth out this morning. All 4 at once. It hurts, but so worth it. During the procedure I honestly didn't feel much at all except for the injections which started to work very quick. It was actually kind of relaxing after the numbing kicked in thanks to the sedative. I am extremely happy with my experience it was faster than expected– their oral surgeon had all 4 of my teeth out in 40 minutes!– it has been far less terrible than I was expecting. My lower lip and chin after were numb as hell, which made for an amusing experience eating. I've been given some pretty good pain killers but I'm doing pretty well with them so far anyway. My mouth isn't numb anymore, but with pain meds it's not too bad at all. If anyone is looking for the best place to get your wisdom teeth extracted, consider Wellington dental.The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, the doctors and assistants are awesome, and the hygienists are thorough. I've never had a negative experience and with this wisdom tooth extraction I am beyond happy. ????

Receptionists have zero communication with the dental professionals in the back. Cannot coordinate insurance quotas so that a patient doesn't have to come on multiple occasions to do procedures generally lumped together in a single cleaning or checkup. Dentists and hygienists are the only reason to even give this place a star. Please protect your reputation and fire your receptionists.

well my first dental work here was ripping open a old root cannel repair i had done years ago and with new modern technology they found that i had large infections in my jaw and this needed to be completely re done and apparently two need to be re done . so i was dreading this anyways the job was done yesterday and it was painless and i actually feel asleep during the tail end of two hours of which the Doctor had to keep waking me up . Dr. Grewal is an absolute legend, he does things right and it shows over the past 6 or so years I have been a patient. Before him I had the unfortunate luck of going to a dentist who was closer to my home, but she was completely incompetent and left me with loose silver fillings which were coming out in pieces within a year, a cracked tooth , a tooth in need of a root canal because she dug so deep, and intense pain which I had to go to the ER for. I am so thankful that Dr. Grewal here was able to fix me up with absolutely no issues going over 6 years strong!
