Excellent dentist who truly cares. Had a wisdom tooth that needed to come out, before I knew it he had removed it with no pain. He made me a sleep apnea night appliance that I can not live without. Everyone at this office are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They all go above and beyond to make you feel safe and comfortable.

Dr. Klaus Protzer is an AMAZING and GIFTED dentist! I walked in as a new patient this fall, feeling very embarrassed about my missing teeth and not having had enough dental care because of my finances. Needless to say, I procrastinated going and felt dismissed by other dentists. Alas, here comes Dr. Protzer!! My angel dentist! He not only spent a lot of time in my initial visit actually listening to all my concerns and took into account my financial and lifestyle situation, even writing down my options. He figured out the best course taking everything into consideration. Dr. Protzer was compassionate, kind, understanding, intelligent and definitely not judgemental. He created a tooth where one was missing, he fixed all my teeth without pain. He was always right on time and took great care with his work. I’m most impressed and thrilled with the upper partial he specifically designed and made for me! I didn’t want clasps showing and he was able to make mine himself with overseeing his technicians and made an incredibly comfortable partial. After hiding my teeth when I smiled or laughed for a few years, I now smile big and natural and my teeth look beautiful. Dr Protzer and his staff are awesome and I will be eternally grateful. Highly recommend!

Receptionists know who you are when you walk in, and have always been easy to deal with when booking appointments too. I had been putting off going to the dentist for far too long when I decided to go in for a check up at my regular office and I was fairly disappointment to find out I had waited too long and needed an extraction. Not wanting to lose the tooth I came to Applecross where Dr.Protzer thought he could probably save it. Amazing work, with no pain at all despite having most of my tooth removed. I've never been in such a nice office, with such friendly staff, and with such care for their patients.

Dr Protzer was the dentist who finally helped me get over my fear of dental offices! He walked me through all the necessary work my mouth needed, with realistic costs and timelines of what takes priority. For nearly a decade before going to see him all my dental work has been "only in an emergency" (which is actually how I ended up in his office, but it says alot about his practice that I went back again voluntarily!) I've been seeing him/the rest of the team for about 3 years now and it's always as pleasant as going to a dentist can be. - for context I've had root canals, crowns, a dental implant, partial veneers, filings, you name it I've experienced it. Of course it's worth mentioning that Leslie and January at the front of the operations are always incredibly kind! So you feel well taken care of from your very first phone call.

They were able to get me in quick with a cancellation and provided a fair quote for a root canal and crown based on the BC dental fee guide. I had a good experience with the hygienist and Klaus so far. After not seeing the dentist for years, he was able to give me a realistic outlook on what needs to be done without being overwhelming. Edit March 27: the root canal didn't hurt took s little less time than expected, he made it not so bad being a very nervous patient.
