(Translated) My worst experience yet with a dental clinic. I presented for a filling, because apparently I had a cavity and another tooth to watch after my dental examination with them. Seven days later, I had severe pain in the same tooth (I couldn't chew properly), so I called back for an emergency assessment, because the pain was unbearable. I was told that the dentist who did my filling had an availability but only in 2 weeks - and that he supposedly preferred to correct his own mistakes on his own. I still insisted on having a consultation with another dentist and presented myself the next day. Following a test with cold water, Madame concluded that it required no immediate intervention and that my nerve was probably just irritated. I had to pay for this consultation which lasted only ten minutes while I was in no way responsible for the wrongs caused. I RE-scheduled an appointment with the dentist who gave me my filling despite the two-week wait, but I did not receive any confirmation of an appointment or call confirming the date of the appointment. I called back and left a voicemail message, but no return call was made. Today, I learn after several attempts to get in touch with them that my appointment was missed and that the dentist who gave me my filling is going on vacation again, another two weeks waiting so that I made it clear that the pain persisted despite the pain relievers. In the meantime, I went to two different clinics and was confirmed to me that I was going to have to do a root canal treatment, because the filling had not been done well and the wait only made me make it all worse. * Moreover, great lack of professionalism on the part of one of the secretaries. When I called today she said not being able to find me in the system, that apparently I have no appointment that has been scheduled, to finally ask me to call back after 2 p.m. to speak with a different secretary - and this after hanging up on me over and over again. * No star for the service offered, unfortunately it was not in the options. Worse experience, great lack of professionalism and I do not recommend this clinic. (Original) Ma pire expérience à ce jour avec une clinique dentaire. Je me suis présenté pour un plombage, car apparement j'avais une carie et une autre dent à surveiller suite à mon examen dentaire avec eux. Sept jours plus tard, j'avais des douleurs importantes au niveau de cette même dent (je n'arrivais pas à mastiquer correctement), j'ai donc rappeler pour une évaluation d'urgence, car la douleur était insupportable. On m'a dit que le dentiste qui avait fait mon plombage avait une disponibilité mais seulement dans 2 semaines - et qu'il préférait soit disant corriger ses propres erreurs par lui-même. J'ai tout de même insisté à avoir une consultation avec une autre dentiste et me suis présenté le lendemain. Suite à un test avec de l'eau froide, Madame a conclut que ça nécessitait aucune intervention immédiate et que mon nerf était probablement juste irrité. J'ai dû payer pour cette consultation qui n'a duré qu'une dizaine de minutes alors que j'étais aucunement responsable des tords causé. J'ai RE-cédulé un rendez-vous avec le dentiste qui m'avait fait mon plombage malgré les deux semaines d'attente, mais je n'ai reçu aucune confirmation de rdv ni appel confirmant la date du rendez-vous. J'ai rappelé et laissé un message vocal, mais aucun retour d'appel n'a été fait. Aujourd'hui, j'apprends après plusieurs tentatives pour rentrer en contact avec eux que mon rendez-vous a été manqué et que le dentiste qui m'a fait mon plombage part en vacances à nouveau, soit un autre deux semaines d'attente alors que j'ai clairement précisé que la douleur persistait malgré les analgésiques. Entre temps, j'ai été à deux cliniques différents et on m'a confirmé que j'allais devoir faire un traitement du canal radiculaire, car le plombage n'avait pas été bien fait et que l'attente n'a fait qu'empirer le tout. *D'ailleurs, grand manque de professionnalisme de la part d'une des secrétaires. Quand j'ai appelé aujourd'hui elle dit ne pas être en mesure de me trouver dans le système, qu'aparemment j'ai pas de rendez-vous qui a été cédulé, pour enfin me demander de rappeler après 14h pour parler avec une secrétaire différente - et çà après m'avoir raccrocher dessus à maintes reprises. *Aucune étoile pour le service offert, malheureusement c'était pas dans les options. Pire expérience, grand manque de professionnalisme et je ne vous recommande pas cette clinique.

Love the staff and our dentist! The receptionists are always kind and know what’s going on. The dental hygienists that work with the dentist are kind and professional. Dr. Takjian or Dr. Raffi as we know him, is patient, kind and always looking out for his patients well being. He has been a great find in our families dental health care. If you have fears or just not sure if a dentist is just not looking out for the patients needs, you must visit the team at Denti Care and see Dr. Raffi ????????

They don't ask you what you want when there are options, they choose the most expensive automatically. See you have to impose yourself to make yourself heard. I went back there for a cleaning, I was told that I had a cavity, so we book an appointment and when I go I ask the dentist how many caries, they answer me only one. 6 months later, ono mapelle for a new carrie out of the blue. One of the hygienists speaks really loudly and treats people like little children. But the place is clean. Ils ne vous demande pas ce que vois voulez quand il y a des options, ils choissent le plus cher automatiquement. Vois devez vous imposer pour vous faire entendre. Jy suis retournée pour un nettoyage, on ma dit que javais une carie, donc on book un rdv et quand jy vais je demande au dentiste combien de carrie, on me repond une seul. 6 mois plus tard, ono mapelle pour une nouvelle carrie out of the blue.. Une des hygieniste parle vraimenr fort et traite les gens comme des petits enfants. Mais l'endroit est propre.

Dr Raffi Tachjian treated 2 damaged crowns that were placed improperly by another dentist that led to a bone loss. Dr Raffi dealt with my case on an emergency basis, with the highest ethics and human approach I have ever seen. He connected with my periodontist to understand history and provided me with best treatment possible. Took the time in each session to examine very closely the gum, bone, and neighboring teeth. He followed up with the laboratory to make sure new crowns sizes and color match 100% and delivery date. After the treatment, he kept a regular follow-up. Dr Raffi is the person who gives dentists a good name. I highly recommend Dr Raffi!!!!

I had made an appointment in person at Clinique Denticare and asked about the estimate cost of exam and cleaning as my dental insurance covers 80% of cost. The receptionist calculated the cost and told me that even if I need level 4 cleaning it would be 403$ and I will need to pay 80$ only as rest will be covered by insurance. On the day of my appointment, after my dental exam and cleaning was done, receptionist gave me a bill of 403$ to pay and asked to get reimbursement from the insurance. I got completely shocked, while trying to understand the cause the receptionist became aggressive started pointing finger toward me saying you need to pay this bill. And then suddenly the dentist came out and said oh our broken network is now fixed and we have contacted your insurance, and yes you can pay 80$. Very unprofessional management. A very horrible experience for me!!!

After a 2 year absence, it was great to go back for a cleaning and exam. The staff is beyond kind and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Dr Tachjian is a gem! He is kind, professional and knowledgeable. He not only takes an interest in your dental health but also asks about your over all well being. Thi did an excellent job with the cleaning. I have never been overcharged nor paid for a procedure that wasn't necessary. This is also a great clinic for anyone who fears dentists because everyone is kind, patient and explains every procedure that is being done. You are made to feel as comfortable as possible. On a side note, the clinic is pristine and I love the new look.

Denticare's fees used to be relatively high so for a few years I switched to another dentist. Then two months ago I started experiencing strong pain. The other dentist couldn't figure it out and made it sound like it was psychological. Very frustrating not to be able to eat good Christmas food. I now came back to Denticare. I was very pleased with denticare's dentist who took a methodical approach and figured out a solution. He didn't charge that much either! Highly recommended.

The Truth Is Out There

Dr. Raffi has performed couple of routine procedures and a root canal on a tooth that was very painful and sensitive. The procedure was done with outmost professionalism. He made sure that I was comfortable and pain free all throughout the procedure. His assistant Tammy was wonderful as well making sure that I don't feel any discomfort. I'm very happy with Dr. Raffi and his staff and since being a Denticare patient for now 20 years, I highly recommend this clinic. I moved far away recently but remained and remain their patient for these reasons. Thank you Dr. Raffi for your warm side and humour and for making visits to the dentist a walk in the park.

Edit: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, READ ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEW BEFORE COMING TO THIS CLINIC. POOR QUALITY OF WORK. The dentist who did my fillings ( Harandian). Did such a poor job. I'm still experiencing pain on the teeths he filled and i'm currently in the process of replacing all of them. There goes money down the drain. From the words of my new dentist, the job was ridiculously sloppy and i have little faith in the quality of materials they used. I regret stepping foot in this clinic and wish i had check their reviews prior. I'm questioning if i even needed the work they suggested. I'm so disappointed by the quality of dental work at this clinic. I came to this clinic for a routine clean up. The dentist told me I needed a filling done to which I greed. Later said actually there was an additional small one, so "he went ahead and just did it". I thought to myself, sure why not, better safe than sorry . However my teeth have not been the same since and i have been experiencing weird sensitivity on the two exact teeth he worked on. I can't chew anything with texture, it is sensitive to hot or cold. I can't even eat toast or some veggies anymore as a result. This has been going on since day one after he filled my teeth (7 months ago). So for 7 months i have not been able to eat properly anything with a remote crunch or chewiness to it. And prior to coming to this clinic, i was perfectly find. They kept saying oh it is an adjustment issue; but I came in three or four times for an adjustment and my teeth still aren't fine. Finally on the last appointment, the dentist said he 'thinks it is a crack' but after a second opinion that option was ruled out. Also how can it be a crack if i'm experiencing issues on both teeth? Something must not have been done correctly or rushed in that case. The frustrating part is that the new dentist told me the filling will need to be redone, so clearly this dentist didn't even consider that route, esp after several returned visitations over months. The only positive thing about my experience with this clinic were the dental hygienists who were always friendly, professional and open to helping. She told me to come back if things still don't feel right. but after the last visit where the dentist just told me it could be a crack and good luck! i wasn't really inclined to let them touch anything else in my mouth. Overall 0 stars for the dental work, my chewing side got damage after being here and i had no previous issue before. The work fell rush too and I really wish i had read the reviews before going in.

I called in to take an appointment and the receptionist gave me a life lesson for not calling to cancel my previous appointment when I explained that I couldnt make it because I had to travel for a death in the family and it was an emergency. She had to throw in her 2 cents “Please next time call to cancel when this happens” Really? The last thing I need is a lesson like that when you don’t know how it feels like when you lose a dear one! I don’t think calling to cancel an appointment is on my priority list when there is death!! Very rude staff, needless to say I did not take a new appointment. I wouldn’t feel safe with my teeth at a place that has no empathy for their clients. She could’ve atleast said “Sorry for you loss” first then give me her life lesson Disgrace to customer service

TERRRIBBLLLLEEEEEEE !!!!!!! Went in for a pain in my tooth they told me i needed a root canal on dec 28th. They advised me that i should do the apt before r The new year and profit from insurance $.. While sitting to book apt i asked if they could check if covered the assistant said " in your file. Here is says covered at 90%" so lets book u in 2 days ,30dec ... I came apt .. Dod root canal.. At pay station.. It is refused.. They now realize info in my file is from 2016 and a different insurance and tell me bill is 1031$$ they asked me to check with insurance and we booked apt for the 4th jan after holidays Once returned on 4th. The assistant whom booked my apt for 30th said she never spoke to me about pricing or this procedure.. The dr haradian took me aside and said.. NO ONE HERE EVER TOLD A PRICE OR GAVE U A DATE BEFORE NEW YEAR ..so i guess i magically booked myself and agreedd to a 1000 procedure? TERRIBLE EXPERIENCEEE only positive thing id laura the Secretary.. Sje is nice and helped me emotionally through this situation to gain 1000 from me.

I used to go in this clinic and I REGRET! *WORST DENTIST EVER*! all he cares it's MONEY! he will destroy your teeth just to get more money! & they keep pushing you to take more appointments just to DESTROY more teeth!!! The way he fix and the products he use.. it's CHEAP products! Definitely would recommend. Went for the first time, dentist and hygienist were very efficient and worked very fluidly together. Mel the receptionist is what made the place for me. Due too the major work required, the appointments were confusing and with my yearly budget, planning it looked like a mess. Until Mel calmly took a peice of paper, organized all appointments by priority and price, and fit in all the apointments ever so smoothly. She had to create multiple drafts to go above and beyond and save me even more money. I would go there just to see her organized clever ways. Well done Denticare for having such high caliber care for your patients due to your exceptional staff.

I saw them about a cavity that I could physically see and was causing me a bit of pain. They seemed to think this wasn't the real problem and informed me that I had two more cavities that also needed to get filled soon. After 26 years of never having any cavities or issues with my teeth, including regular teeth cleanings/exams by my dentist in another city, I thought this was a bit strange but thought maybe my luck changed. I got them to only fill the tooth that I came in about and planned to come back to get the other two dealt with. After my partner then had issues with a other work they did, I looked into their negative reviews and I decided to get a second opinion before going forward with their other suggested work. Turns out the work that they wanted to do was completely unnecessary (no cavities). I didn't even have insurance and would have been paying out of pocket, so it was a pretty frustrating experience.

I recently came to this clinic for some dental work and cosmetic work while dealing with Dr Raffi. The ease of dealing with this clinic was like no other, everything was quick and efficient. Pricing was extremely fair and Dr Raffi took his time and patience while doing the procedure, He was gentle and communicated with me. Great team of dentists, hyeginists and receptionists. Easy to book appointments online or by phone. Free parking facility. Last time I had the pleasure of being served by Vanessa, one of the hyeginists. She was very competent at her job. She took her time to explain everything in a pleasant manner. Dr Harandian has been my dentist for 5 years. Could not ask for a better dentist. The only problem there is the poor cellular network reception which I believe is something to do with how the building is structured.

Edited to answer: I got x-rays done at two other clinics since your diagnosis in 2014 and they indeed confirmed I do not need the treatment your dentist told me I absolutely needed asap. But I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I will however not come back as a patient - I initially went for a simple cleaning, and I have no complaint about the hygienist.

Bad experience in this clinic, the Dr started the surgery and was unable to do the right job after that he sent me to another Dr and because of his first wrong intervention i was exposed to lot of complications !!! This dentist failed to take my wife's pain seriously. I could write paragraphs about the nightmare we've been through but this is the most important point. She said the pain was worse than labor pains. She would stay up at night crying from the pain. She had to beg for better pain killers and still it dragged on for weeks on end. Frequently she was told to just wait and see. Dental pain is not fun and aside from dental expertise you want your dentist to have compassion and understanding when you are telling him the amount of pain you are experiencing. Consider this when you are making your choice of dental professionals. We have since consulted with 2 other dental offices who are still having trouble resolving the issue that has been going on for over a month now. She now at least feels heard, but the damage is done and she describes the past month as the worst month of her life. I am writing this as the witness to the unbelievable amount of pain she had to endure.

After seeing a dentist many years later at another clinic I was informed the work you wanted to do was not nesecarry. I regret trusting this dentist clinic with removing 4 wisdom teeth, because that work was probably not nesecarry and now I am experiencing other issues that need to be monitored due to having my wisdom teeth removed. If I kept going to this clinic I'll prob have no teeth. Maybe it was because i had 100% coverage when i went to your clinic, but fortunately I never have to go to your clinic again. One day I might look into taking further action against your clinic.

I can't even express my frustration of the team of denticare ! Ive been their client for a very long time until recently they did an exam telling me I have 1200$ of work on my teeth. Knowing I didn't have that much money I said I would come back. I went to another dentist for the first time and turns out I only have a repair of 76$. Big difference. I can't believe how they could screw over a student who is 21 yrs old. Very disappointed. Never going back.
