I am extremely nervous and have anxiety about going to the dentist. The staff at Mississauga Smiles convinced me to visit and made me feel so comfortable that I did a procedure with no stress at all. I am grateful for my dental hygienist who took the time to clean and educate me about my teeth. It was an amazing experience and now I am willingly going every 4 months for my cleaning, and now taking on a new adventure of having a bridge done! I am even going to go in for a Zoom teeth whitening procedure. :) Long story but I do not recommend Mississauga Smiles Dentistry due to permanent nerve damage done while performing a root canal through my bridge. Not happy and got a giggle when I saw this review I gave them. The Zoom whitening left my teeth sensitive as well. Need a new bridge and still waiting for my nerve to recover. Be aware.

Had to do a last minute wisdom tooth extraction today and Dr. Mohammed and the entire staff were so friendly, gentle and accommodating. I would 100% recommend to everyone ESPECIALLY if you’re usually “scared” of going to the dentist. They made me feel so comfortable and it was pain-free!

Our family has been with Mississauga Smiles, formerly Norton Dental, for many years. Their priority is always to make sure that patients receive the best care possible. The staff is friendly and respectful and treatment options are explained in detail. A very recent example is when Dr. Mohamad went above and beyond to perform an emergency root canal on very short notice, following up via phone personally the next day to make sure I am doing well and to explain any questions.

Just wonderful service overall. Dr. Mohammad (my orthodontist) is a miracle worker. He is a dentist as well as an orthodontist. he was in charge of my mom's and my case. my teeth are gorgeous now and my overbite is just gone. on top of that, every staff member is so friendly and have a smile on their face all the time. if you live near square one i would recommend this dentistry. i also think there prices are pretty affordable. for what you get out of it- worth it Below is the before and after of my teeth

I don't normally leave reviews for any establishment/business, but I have to make an exception for this dental office and the staff. From the start, I knew going in my anxiety would be very difficult to battle, however Veronica, Dr. Marwan Hameed, and the nurses and staff got me over my fears very quickly. I have an extensive history of coming into contact, somehow, with dentists that have 0 empathy or compassion. I worked with the staff for a little over two weeks to ensure that I received the smile that I wanted. I was terrified in the beginning, especially since IV sedation was necessary, but they TRULY ensure you have the best experience possible. Without going too into personal detail, I have a history of playing harsh sports such as rugby so my teeth definitely took a shoulder or two to the mouth. You could imagine the state of my teeth. After consultations, discussions, and various dental visits my teeth look even better than...for as long as I can remember. It has been two weeks since the procedure, I thought I'd wait to see how this all goes afterwards for true feedback, and I have no complaints. I can summarize the experience as follows: - I am no longer too terrified to visit the dentist. - I am able to smile for the first time in nearly 10 years - I have so much confidence now! It's incredible. - The staff keep in touch with you after the procedure to ensure that you're ok and that is AMAZING to me. - If you have any concerns or questions, staff are always available to call and speak with if you are apprehensive like I was. - Nothing is ever PERFECT, but I'd love to say that this experience was the closest to the word. - Note to anyone reading this: if you play rough sports, take care of your teeth. - 10/10 would recommend to ANYONE. - M.

Dr. Mohamad Khorshid, did an amazing job with my teeth, he is really an artist, I know this because I had 4 bridges done before non were as realistic in colour and shape as these. Even as he was putting the temp bridge he carved perfect looking smile within 10 minutes so I don't leave the clinic with anything but perfect looking smile. If you are looking for a good looking smile he is your best bet.

I went in for a treatment. The dentist and the assistants were very good. But the facility is poorly managed with zero customer service.They charge your card as they like and not as agreed. The treatment was satisfactory but if you are going for a payment plan with them please be very very careful. The office manager was sugar and honey when I went to register. They charged my card out of the blue after the 2 months since payment plan was over. When I called to enquire the office manager was so rude.

During my first appointment I got an X-ray done. Nothing was said to me that day, but I was called later saying I have 10 fillings that need to be worked on asap, before they turn into a root canal. It has been almost 2 years and my teeth are perfectly fine. I went back to my old dentist (in another country), who found only 4 cavities and I got them removed immediately. I went to Norton for a second X-ray. They did not know which teeth I had the fillings done on, so they did not mention mention a number, but just told me I had "serious cavities in some of my teeth which can turn into a root canal". The girl at reception had no idea that my X-rays had been updated, and began forcing me to book an appointment for the same 10 fillings! She actually ended up being rude with me because I told her I will call back when I need to book an appointment. She wasn't letting me walk away after my payment and finally ended up saying, "If you step out this clinic now and call back later, I can't book an appointment for you". The girls at reception will drive you insane by calling you and pressurizing you to book appointments for treatments that you do not want done. It doesn't matter if there is a note in your account saying that you are aware of the treatments that have been recommended to you. After a $250 hygiene appointment, they will make sure that you walk out feeling small, feeling guilty, and feeling terrible about how bad your teeth look. Oh and if you cancel an appointment 2 days in advance, they ask you to pay $75, but without letting you know, they book you in for appointments that you never asked for.

Personaly my experience was absolutely perfect. I had a previous dentist before After going to Nortan Dental in Mississauga I cancelled ever going back to my first Dentist, Dr. Mohammed I think is the best dentist I have ever come across, he knows what he is doing and he does it better then any dentist I have ever seen, Dr. Lynne was absolutely amazing the cleaning, the place is clean the employees are all so incredible and I definitely recommend this place for everyone, I guarantee if you go once you will stay for life. I want to thank all of the employees there for the wonderful job they do.

I am impressed with his patience and kindness; he is always available in emergencies with a big smile on his face. My teeth look fantastic after removing the braces. If I could give -100 stars I would. I came here over a month ago for 2 wisdom teeth to be extracted. I was told this wouldn’t be complicated and booked and had the procedure done within 48 hours. They sent me home with pain medicine that didn’t work, and told me that I should be fine in a few days. Fast forward a week- my pain kept increasing and I called and left a message for an emergency appointment. Nobody got back to me. Thankfully I found another dentist who dealt with the complications of what Mississauga smiles did; without getting into detail I had serious issues on both extraction sites. It is now a month later and I have nerve damage, jaw pain and migraines daily. DO NOT GO HERE. Update: After leaving this review, I was contacted by their reception. I explained my experience and all of my complications I’ve had since the procedure and the person on the phone just hung up. If you are looking for good dental work, a quality procedure, or even basic respect this clinic is the WRONG place to go.

It is absolutely the worst dental office. Stay away. I had to get one wisdom tooth out and I have no insurance coverage. When I called to ask for an estimate of how much it would cost they gave me a great price so I booked an appointment. A week before the appointment they called me to remind me and I wanted to double check about the price and the person told me triple the price they initially agreed on. I argued with her because that wasn't what I agreed on and she transferred me to another person. After talking with her she agreed to put a note on my file of a lower price and she said the dentist will lower it more as I have no insurance. I went for the appointment and they charged me the highest price and nothing I had agreed upon. I was so pissed. I could barely talk to argue it so they totally took advantage of that. They're scammers and I am so upset I ended up paying them but I was in discomfort and I couldn't talk so I just paid but I am never going there again.

I visited Mississauga Smiles after my husband, who raved about their dental cleaning a lot, and he is very particular with his teeth! I went for my first cleaning with Lynn (I hope I pronounce it right) and she has excellent bedside manners. She has a calm and compassionate approach. She explained the whole process to me , the equipment she is using and what the measurements mean etc and I really felt calm as she did the x-rays and whole process. Another thing worth mentioning, the place was extremely clean and neat and during Covid time that was a very important thing (as a lot of stuff goes into your mouth in the dentist chair...) She also recommended me to use an electronic brush ( she didn't push for it, gently said it works for her, too) and I decided to try her suggestion - it is definitely much better. I saw the doctor very briefly and my interaction with her was also pleasant. Next week I will go for the second part of my cleaning, I will update this review depending on how my next visit goes but so far I feel like I found my dental cleaning home in Mississauga.

No wonder why, despite the fact that I called last minute to make the appointment, doctor took me right away and assistant helped me with my fear of dentistry to calm me down. I have been to Norton Dental twice for a checkup and a routine cleaning (2015 and 2017). Additionally, I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at this location with zero complications or issues. Receptionist were very kind and made everything clear and easy to understand. The dentist were excellent and made me feel comfortable during every appointment. Dr Mohammad was also always very nice and was always someone I could trust while under his care. Every room was nice and organized, I could always tell that they put a lot of effort into making sure the working environment was always clean. I had severe pain and headaches before I visited Dr. Mohamad, but he provided me with amazing orthodontic care. He really helped me fix my teeth. Also, the clinic provided me affordable payment schedule and was very considerate of my circumstances. It's only two and half years and covid restrictions but I finally have no pain in my jaw or teeth and not as many headaches as I did before. Although there were days I had to wait half an hour or more to see the doctor, I think it was worth the time, since my teeth are so much better now.

Great staff... Dr. Mohamad Khorshid is one of the best I’ve dealt with, Sheila and Macy are awesome as well. Very knowledgeable, friendly, always greet you with a big smile and most important clean and well equipped with high tech machines like the crown Miller where I got a crown done in one visit. I got in, and after some work to prepare the tooth base, Mohamad scanned part of my lower jaw with an HD camera, 3D printed a crown for me with less than 30 minutes! After that the assistant polished and painted the crown with another machine and voila! all done with one visit! Isn’t that an incredible high tech world we live in today !?

We move our dental care here because of an out young guy because we heard Dr.Natalie was exceptional with kids. Bad work, dentist they butcher and do whatever they want, they don't listen. The supervisor at front desk needs to replaced. She is so rude. No phone matters, or customer service experience is terrible. Please get rid of her with the short red funky hair. Terrible person.

I had the most terrible experience with Dr. Marwan Hameed. I received Invisalign treatment from him a few years ago. Initially he was extremely nice to me because he wanted to win my business but he did not explain to me the implications of only fixing my front upper 6 and bottom 6 teeth. He showed me his projection on his computer and it seemed good, but the final result did not look the same to me and several other people. As the treatment went on he was still nice and even when I didn’t wear my Invisalign for the right amount of time he would just force the new ones on. I never knew this was an issue until I found out from other dentists. Towards the end of the treatment my teeth definitely looked a lot more straighter than they did before but my major issue was my K9 tooth which was still sticking out slightly. I told him my concern and he told me he simply doesn’t see what I am talking about and if we were to continue the treatment he is not taking responsibility on what it will look like later. Convinced that it was all in my head I left the office. Literally, every single person I asked said it was still sticking out which defeats the entire purpose of getting my teeth fixed in the first place and I felt like I wasted my money. I felt extremely hesitant and uncomfortable talking to him about this again because I have seen him lose his anger on his assistants several times. Also, during my last visit he failed to insert my wire on my upper teeth and instead of being gentle he was extremely aggressive. He was applying a lot of pressure and poked my lip with a needle and also chipped my front tooth from the back (which he completely ignored as if it never happened). I had to get the chip fixed later from another dentist at my own cost. I am an extremely unhappy customer and even with my last visit recently to attach my wire to the bottom teeth he had no manners to say hi. He literally came in and did his thing and left – no professionalism in my opinion. I would not recommend him as he has no respect for his colleagues as he gets angry at them constantly, fails to explain that he is doing half the job, aggressive and impatient with customers, and lacks professionalism.

If you are looking for the best dentist in town, look no further because you have already found one in #Mississauga Smiles Dentistry. #Dr. Mohammad Khorshid is not only knowledgeable and experienced but also very kind, patient and a good listener. Just tell him what you want and he makes magic happen. He did both Invisalign and Veneers (8 upper front teeth) for me and I couldn't be happier with the result. They look very natural and Hollywood quality pretty!!! ;) I wish I was able to give him 100 stars here but 5 is the most :/ Each and every staff member at Mississauga Smiles Dentistry is very efficient and friendly and treats you like family! After my Invisalign treatment, I had to move to BC. My upper front teeth were painful and ugly and something had to be done. This office has such good vibes that I decided to entrust Dr. Mohammad with the job so I flew all the way back to Mississauga to get it done and evidently, he delivered beyond expectations. I had a very tight schedule and had to go back to BC shortly. Thus, he had to work during Thanksgiving Long Weekend Holiday so that I would be able to go back home with a new set of pretty teeth. He went an extra mile to make it happen and not all dentists are willing to do so for their patients. Hats off to Dr. Mohammad Khorshid and all his staff for doing such an amazing job! ???? My Son has a complex dental problem and needed a surgical extraction under sedation , we met with dr Marwan Hameed , I must say his knowledge and understanding of surgical dentistry is second to non , the process was very smooth , staff was very professional , dr Hameed performed the procedure after sedation was achieved in literally in 5 minutes including local anesthesia , surgical extraction and suturing , my son did not feel anything and woke up quickly from sedation with no problem Amazing experience , I highly recommend dr Hameed for anyone who needs dental surgery .

The dentists are extremely knowledgeable and provide as much detail/information as YOU feel you need. They give you options and strive to find YOUR comfort level. They create an atmosphere of comfort by breaking everything down into small steps so as not to overwhelm you, especially if you need a lot of dental work. After dodging dentists and dental offices for over 40 years, I'm here to stay!

I cannot rave enough about this dental office. Every staff member I interacted with from the front desk to each hygienist were so kind and engaging. Dr Mohamad Khorshid was especially a breath of fresh air. I had previously gone to another dentist for a consult where I felt pressured to spend a lot of money for a procedure I didn’t feel confident would address my concerns. After consulting with Dr Mohamad we were able to create a plan to achieve my dream smile and he did exactly that. I am so incredibly happy with the work of Dr Mohamad and I have and will continue to recommend him. His work is perfection. It turns out I had a fractured root from grinding. Guess I should have been wearing the recommended night guard more diligently. Best way to describe the extraction would be to say it was gently teased out by Dr Marwan. Healed nicely and I’m in the process of replacing the tooth with a dental implant. I was nervous before the appointment however the doctor and assistant were excellent. Thank u everyone!

Had a tooth infection right before the pandemic closures started. Came in the same day and found out they would be closing right after me.I WAS GREATFUL FOR THIS.( pandemic order) they rushed to finish. Drilling most of my one tooth to find no more roots. Then after charging us $1600 for 2 root channels while I was getting work done they gave me a temporary filling that has falling apart and became infected again. I tried to be understanding with the pandemic but they should have never accepted me and charged 1600 for a temporary filling. Reply: I had options to go else where still.... I should have been made aware spending $1600 was for ONLY ROOTCANEL and not the permanent filling. Why would I purchase something that wouldn't be completed and would result in worse problems? I was only told I would be getting a temporary filling while they were putting in a temporary. I would have spent more to fix the problem had I know Instead you make it look like you did me a favor. You should have just said we wouldn't be able to complete the job. Sorry .. Part 2. I was charged $1600.00 for what you told me would fix my toothache. You performed a root canal in my mouth. The next day pieces of the "temporary filling" started to fall out. I understand the meaning of "temporary" but that is ridiculous. Furthermore I was expecting a follow up call from you that I was told I would receive but did not as to why this review. If I had have received a call we could have dealt with this earlier. Covid 19 has nothing to do with the fact that this was a unprofessional response from a so called professional. If you didn't want me as a customer then you should have said "no, we are not taking any new patients at this time" problem solved. Pretty much the dentist there drilled a massive hole in my tooth charged me $1600.00 (for a dentist that seems like pocket change) and now I have to find another dentist to fill your dentists hole. Just for public reference. If I paid $1600.00 for a root canal and a one day lasting filling. How much more would it have been to permanently fill (as this was not an option givin while I lay in a chair with my mouth frozen) or at least a filling that would last longer than a day.

This dentist almost gave me an X-ray while pregnant because they didn’t read my file/communicate that I’m 6 months pregnant. He also prescribed me Peridex which is an antiseptic in the same class as bleach, and upon a google search I found out that it should NOT be taken during pregnancy unless the situation is dire. I told the dentist what my issue was and that I had just finished 10days of amoxicillin for my tooth infection as my last dentist told me to (now closed for pandemic) I told him I was told to come in to have the tooth removed after I finished the antibiotic and after I told him I’m pregnant he 1, tried to prescribe me amoxicillin even though I had JUST told him I just finished 10days worth &2 said we’re not doing ANYTHING except prescribing mouthwash and keep prescribing antibiotic and letting the teeth reinfect themselves for the next 3 months until I can have teeth removed when I have a newborn. So frustrating dealing with this place. & Very unprofessional that he didn’t know I was pregnant and upon finding out wasn’t able to help me at all. Do not reccomend this place.

Dr Mohamad is the best dentist I've ever been to. I was seen at another office for a filling which was so badly done and I was in pain. Dr Mohamad took the time and care to explain everything and redo the fillings. Have never had problems with any of my fillings since them. I've been a patient here for about a year now and I have always had a great experience with all my sessions. It is right on Burnhamthorpe road and you can't miss it. As you enter, the folks at the reception are warm and welcoming. All staff at the clinic have headsets to communicate with each other, which reduces the wait time and delay in setting up your appointment. The place is clean and hygienic as well. If you have an appointment coming up, they make sure to give you a reminder call a day or two before. Dr Mohamad Khorshid is an absolute gem of a person. He is kind, knowledgeable and provided me a dental plan to keep my teeth in good health. The same goes with other staff and assistants. I've not interacted with Dr. Marwan Hameed, but have heard great things. If you live near the Square One area in Mississauga and are looking for a professional dental clinic, I would highly recommended giving these folks a try.

I was made to wait 2 hours for a 2 minute consultation during which Dr.Marwan did not even look inside my mouth. Their service was terrible. After the doctor finished the "consultation" he said someone would be in to talk to me about the sedation process. I wait for 15 minutes before going to the front desk to ask when someone would speak to me. Terrible service and a waste of 2 hours of my day. This was after I accommodated to them moving my appointment because the dentist would not be available during my original day.
