CATHY IS THE WORST PERSON THERE. SHES A VERY RUDE RECEPTIONIST AND DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DO HER JOB!! SHE HANGS UP ON YOU AND REFUSES TO TELL YOU HER NAME. THERE NOT IN SYNC AT THE CLINIC AND THEY HAVE NO COMMUNICATION!I'VE BEEN GOING TO THAT CLINIC FOR THE LAST 3-4 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS KIND OF ABUSE AND DISREPECT. I GOT MY BRACES ON FROM THERE. CATHY TOLD ME THE DENTIST I HAD A APPOINTMENT WITH DOES NOT WANT TO SEE ME FOR MY APPOINTMENT AND THE DENTIST TOLD HER THAT. IT WAS MY FIRST VISIT AND WHEN I ASKED WHY THE DENTIST WOULD SAY THAT SHE SAID SHE JUST DOESN'T WANT TO SEE ME. IM CONFUSED AND NOT SURE WHAT'S GOING ON IN THAT OFFICE.

Nice place they work really hard getting my teeth fixed but I'm still looking for silver metal non removable lower bottom teeth in the future hopefully dr cho has me on some on a cheap price. If they made in china then even better

Worst experience of my life to say the least. Chau has been my (non) orthodontist for over 7 years. My teeth have only shifted in the last year. He took 2 teeth out and when I went to get another opinion, the dentist could not help me in any way because they were not sure why my teeth were taken out. He has literally ruined my mouth and there is nothing I can do about it. Not to mention the wait times have been unbearable (7 years I'm talking about people!!!) Don't be mistaken for their cheap prices, its not worth it, trust the reviews!

Horrible service! I took my mother for the first time, and waited more than 1 hour not including that we came 20 minutes early and was told I was next after asking an hour later. Instead the receptionist had someone else go ahead of me that came in after me. Her excuse was that he has braces. Theres plenty of dentist clinics, so I went across the street and got much better service! I cancelled my appointment here. Terribly disapointed. Never again!

Customer service can be improved in the reception but compared to the good quality of dental work the prices are honest and very reasonable.

Worst dental office ever. Very disorganized, they have no idea what's going on, you have to be on top of them for everything, Dr. always shows up 2 hours late which is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, they over book and the waiting room is always crowded. I've never had problems like this with other dentists before. Don't go to these idiots. There's lots of better dental offices out there.

I have visited this clinic for the past 5 years for braces, cleaning, retainer wires and recently for consultations. This clinic has been excellent in every part of their business all the way from the professional dentists, hygienist, Dental assistants and especially the front desk staff. Always very patient and kind with patient needs. Along with providing a fair pricing model best for everyone. The entire clinic is customer first focused which is why I would recommend everyone to come here for any of their dental needs.

They do great work on your teeth, but really have to have to work on their appointment booking. The front desk is often confused and disorganized, but it could be because they are overwhelmed. However, the dentists and dental assistants are very kind and knowledgeable. If not for the appointment issues and long waits I would have given them a 5.

Very bad service. Receptionist was very rude. Fixing minor crack a denture was 80$ which was fine.but cleaning it cost 95$ way more than fixing. I didnt mind the pricing. But the staff was very rude especially receptionist.

Horrible experience in this clinic! I came early for my appointment and went to register in the reception to be neglected by this Asian looking receptionist. I hope I know her name so I can specify it's her because the other Asian looking one is responsive at least. She totally ignored after I even politely greeted good morning which I know she heard me because she looked but just instructed me to sit ohh how rude she is. Did not even took my name to register I am in. So I sat waiting, thinking they were busy, came another patient after me and she greeted oh so nicely!!! I sat in directly front of her and waited, 30 mins passed thinking maybe they were running late for their appointments I got impatient. I asked the other Asian looking receptionist and she was apologetic and surprised that I wasn't in yet. To cut the loooong story short nothing done except cleaning and a series of X-rays everytime I come because they don't have time anymore which is not my fault. To say I had a small cavity and there was a chip in my tooth that she can't fix so why am I here? Went all this way just for a cleaning that any dentist can do even a hygienist can. Totally disappointed, won't come here again and looking for another dentist. Very unprofessional receptionist! No communication with the staff.I don't think they read their reviews I am writing one in behalf of people who are looking for a good place where they will feel they are valued as humans not just a number where they can utilize your benefits.

Can someone explain to me the reason why people have to wait 2 hours when they have called and booked an appointment?! I should have to miss half a day of work to go to the dentist for a check-up and cleaning. Stop overbooking!!! Terrible service.

WARNING: THIS DENTAL OFFICE DOES NOT CARE TO COMPLY WITH PEEL REGION COVID-19 BY-LAWS. I went today with my dad for a consultation in the morning since this dentist was recommend from his work friends. I noticed right away they had overbooked people who were already filling up the parking lot, 15+ people waiting in the waiting room, no social distance inside the office, overcrowding amount the staff and patients in the small rooms. This is unacceptable especially during these tough times. I really wish I took pictures or video but I just wanted to get out of there.

Horrible experience here. Came here with my dad and brother for a cleaning. Extremely rude receptionist, and no one seems to know what’s going on. When I finished my cleaning, I was told they ran out of fluoride so I would have to just rinse my mouth with only water (instead of the usual water rinse then fluoride rinse). How exactly a dentist office runs out of fluoride, a staple, is beyond me. I did an X-Ray to check my wisdom teeth, and wasn’t told what to do next, so I waited in the waiting room for an hour. I ended up going to another lady who was working there to ask her to get the dentist to ask about the results for my X-ray. My dad was waiting in the dentist chair for over an hour and a half, with someone intermittently going in and out of the room instead of a full uninterrupted cleaning. The dentist, Dr. Yang, proceeded to explain to us that she was really fully booked and it took a long time to check me, my brother, and then get to my dad, and that she was sick so she’s been coughing, that it was overbooked, etc etc. This is an issue that the receptionists should have considered before calling US to ask us to reschedule our appointments to all come in on 12:30pm on Saturday. My dads cleaning wasn’t even completed, she asked my dad to book another appointment in order to finish the cleaning. Overall HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Never been to an office with such unprofessional people. It took TWO HOURS, with only 2.5/3 of us having a completed service. They didn’t even give us a copy of the billing for insurance. I will be going back to my regular dentistry office, Altima in Erin Mills Town Centre.

WARNING: THIS DENTAL OFFICE DOES NOT CARE TO COMPLY WITH PEEL REGION COVID-19 BY-LAWS. My husband was booked for a dental cleaning today at 11AM. There were about 15 people waiting outside, many of whom said they were also booked for 11AM. He was told it would be a 1 hour wait but after he said he was leaving/cancelling, they let him go inside. Inside, there were another 6-8 people waiting AND the rooms were already full. He was told it would still be a 30 minute to 1 hour wait. If there are 4-5 hygienists/dentists total, why are there 15+ people waiting? That makes NO sense. As another reviewer said, this dental office is VERY unorganized. They have gone downhill in the last few years. Would not recommend.

The service is great but the receptionists are ABSOLUTELY terrible. I advise if you are looking to go here, watch out for the main front desk lady, Mendi. She strives to be the most hypocritical receptionist EVER seen. Sometimes being too nice gets annoying. Lets not forgot the fact the she is catty, a liar, and just plain irritating. Other than that the dentists are amazing and their work is very high standard.

I have never written a review for any place but I am writing this because I really hope to help warn future clients to proceed in this dentistry with caution. I was a former patient of Dr. Chau and had my braces put on in high school. Due to my own ignorance I failed to realize the level of unprofessionalism held in the office till recently, when I have had to handle my case myself and talk to people directly. I had my braces taken off a little over 2 years ago and the glue for my permanent metal retainer came off from one side. I called the office multiple times asking about this and to book an appointment. During my first call & constant explanation of the sharp permanent retainer hanging in my mouth (half glued and half unglued), the receptionist PERSISTENTLY pushed for teeth cleaning (for a fee) instead of listening to the matter at hand. I agreed to get the teeth cleaning so that I could get her attention to my retainers to which I got my appointment. I had to reschedule and called over 24 hours in advance (like I was told) to move my appointment, to which the receptionist said I should be charged but will not charge me because I am a former patient. I thanked her and proceeded to tell her about my retainers, she said I needed to call the office and speak directly with them because she does not know how to help. I agreed and called the office to a receptionist (Cindy), who had the same lack of professionalism from all other members I contacted from the office. After a solid 30 minute conversation, I was told I would be charged a fee of $100 because it has been over 2 years. To which I did not understand because 2 years or not, it is permanent retainers and when I got them I asked if they would come off and was told that they are permanent. The issue is not the $100 (even though we are in a pandemic and times are tough), its the level of inconsideration of former patients and their situations at hand, the lack of professionalism and the persistent desperation to charge any possible scenario so they can fill their pockets. If you go there, please be aware that you will not be taken into consideration as a patient, but rather as an ETM they want to withdraw money out of at all times. I did really like this office initially, but the past experiences (some included in this) have made it very hard to me to obliterate them and left a bad taste in my mouth for this dentist. I know this was long, but I really hope future patients/clients take the time to read peoples experiences because if its happened to me (who usually gets pushed around and is accommodating), it will happen to someone else as well. Overall, I would never recommend this dentistry to anyone because if you are spending money, get ready to start emptying your pockets with the manipulative staff.

Horrible experience, even the receptionist is so rude, they have no idea how to speak with customer. I don’t want give them 1 star but i don’t have option of 0 star rating.

Worst experience ever. Had an appt for 12pm, waited over and hour. Then the receptionist told me I will have to wait another hour(2pm) since there's "only one hygienist." I went in for a cleaning. Other people were being let in before me, for a cleaning, as well.

I have seen Dr Yang several times and she is a great dentist. She would never do things that you don't need and she would go in details to explain situations and best of all she does her best to accomodate your needs. I highly recommend this dentist!

Don't be fooled by the "cheap" price. You get cheap service. I came here for braces and was initially told I would wear for 2 years max. I did everything on my part and consistently came to my appoint. I started to realize that unless Dr. Chau was present the assistants would look at your braces and change the elastics. Everytime they did this I saw no movement in my teeth. When I realized this, I had to ensure that everytime my appointment was booked, Dr Chau was present. Only then when he was present he would not only change my elastics but bend the wires or whatever and actually progress my treatment. Overall its so unprofessional and they overbook all the time. Parking lot and waiting room is so small. The receptionists are all morons. You're better off spending a few hundred dollars more going somewhere else. Dr. Chau is really just Dr. Clown
