Always a pleasant visit with this practice. I highly reccomend Dr T as he is honest. He does not reccomend unnecessary fixes to take advantage of my insurance coverage. My previous dentist in the MARS building in Toronto said I needed at least four fillings for the cavities in my molars back in 2012. I was young and naive so we did a filling for one tooth the same appointment and scheduled the others for another day. Luckily I went with my guts and cancelled the appointment. Fast forward to 2018 and 2019, I had three visits with Dr T and he said my teeth are in good health. My main issue is that I have staining in the grooves from drinking coffee and zero cavities. CBC Marketplace did a coverage about Dental fraud and I can confidently say that Dr T is the best. I've since moved back to Toronto and is willing to trek all the way to Mississauga because it's hard to find a honest dentist who cares about your teeth. The staff are also amazing and friendly.

My first visit to see Dr T was actually kind of fun! -- except for the part where he tested the nerves on my back teeth! But he sussed the problem immediately, and I'm booked for my first root canal next week. Just the fact that I don't have to wait until I can eat properly again is a huge mark in his favour. This place is of good for general clearing & tooth fillings. Not for wisdom tooth extraction. I had a bad experience with Dr Hala Abdoud. Last Feb 2021 Dr Abdoud extracted my one wisdom tooth. During extraction she damaged nerves that control taste buds in the front of the mouth. I have lost my taste & sensitivity on my righthand side tongue.

I am so very grateful to Dr. Cyril Tahtadjian and his staff for the incredible work they are doing to restore my tooth after having gone through a nightmare during this past year. I wish I had known about the problems that result from a crown made the same day by "in office" machines. I had one of these crowns place on my molar, by another dentist, which fell out less than a month later. I continued to have issues and pain with it, on and off for months, but was hesitant to go back to my previous dentist because I had lost confidence and was concerned that I might end up losing my tooth altogether. Then recently, the crown broke in two, even though I had been extremely careful not to eat anything hard with that tooth. I then made an appointment to see Dr. Tahtadjian, who told me that he has seen many issues with these "in house" crowns, which are especially not appropriate for back teeth. Unfortunately, my tooth had subsequently died, due to an infection, so a root canal was necessary. Dr. Tahtadjian is now in the process of building up my tooth (because of the damage done to it), so he can place a proper crown. I thank God that I am in good hands now and look forward to being able to eat again, without pain or concern. I highly recommend Dentistry in Streetsville and wish I had gone there to begin with.

I would like to thank Dr. Cyril for referring me to Dr. Gangbar. It has been 6 months since my gum grafting surgery and would like to say I did not have any pain at all!!! I didn't even touch the Percocets and only took Ibuprofen 600mg before the surgery and 2 doses after but stopped taking them because they were making me dizzy and didn't need them. I am so happy that I have gums again!!! Dr. Gangbar did my whole lower front jaw and I will look into getting other sites done in the future. Dr. S. Gangbar is very professional and it is easy to fall back in his chair and let him take over. I am so grateful for his services.

Dr. Tahtadjian restored my faith in dentistry. I had a horrible experience with another dentist that traumatized me and caused me a lot of dental pain and anxiety. Although initially fearful, I went to see Dr. Cyril Tahtadjian to fix the botched crown; he successfully fixed the problem and relieved me of pain I had for two months straight. My toddler fell and hit his mouth the night before Canada Day. After calling about a dozen clinics supposedly offering emergency services, only Dr. Tahtadjian actually picked up his phone (10pm on a Friday) to chat with me. After visiting our family doctor to check my toddler's mouth for any other injury, we met Dr. Tahtadjian and his wife at the clinic on Saturday morning (Canada Day) for an examination and extraction. Dr. Tahtadjian and wife were so personable and professional. They left a family function to see my toddler. He even contacted us after the procedure to make sure that my toddler was recuperating without incident. We count ourselves to be very lucky to have Dr. Tahtadjian in the neighbourhood!!!

Finding the right dentist is very important especially when you require major work which may have an impact on your health and the dental results you'd like to achieve. As I had been searching for a dentist to start the major work that I needed, I came across Dentistry in Streetsville and wanted to share my experience. I'll start with mentioning that the office is a spectacular modern space and very clean. I've had multiple visits to the office and each time the staff have provided excellent customer service and have been very kind. I met with Dr. Cyril Tahtadjian for an initial examination and he was extremely helpful in terms of providing the right information and taking a wholistic approach at the work I needed done. A few weeks later I had an appointment for a major procedure with Dr. Tahtadjian for which I was put under GA - the procedure went very smooth and I barely felt any pain once it was done or at all during the following days. Jessica from the dentistry kept in touch with me following the procedure to ensure I was doing okay, and thankfully my recovery has been going great. Overall I'm very impressed with this dentistry and would recommend it to anyone as they provide amazing customer service, have a great facility, and most importantly they have doctors that are extremely knowledgeable and experienced.

As patients, we trust that our dentist knows what he or she is doing and is following all the rules and regulations that govern the dental profession during patient treatments. Since we are not usually dentists ourselves, we are a little bit in the dark about all the “stuff” that goes on during a visit and most of us simply trust that we are being taken care of properly. Unless that is, we get a chance to compare one dental practice to the next. That’s what happened to me. Recently, I had occasion to leave Dr. T’s practice (details are irrelevant) and to go elsewhere for dental services. The difference in the experience between the two was incredible! I had thought that the basic quality of care that I had originally been receiving was something that was “standard” to all dentists. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Needless to say, I returned to Dr. T because I could not deny the calibre and quality of the care I had received from him and his office. Here are the details: Since I am a tad nervous, I always request nitrous oxide gas during any of my treatments. Dr. T and his staff were always so fastidious in taking my blood pressure (not once, but twice) before administering the gas, giving me the third degree to ensure that I had not eaten or drunk anything in the previous 4-6 hours, making sure that it was always Dr. T himself who administered the nitrous oxide and the cleaning while I was “under the influence” and, finally, ensuring that I was truly safe enough to drive home after a suitable wait period at the end of the treatment. I kinda thought he was being a bit overbearing with all of it – until all that went away with the new dentist I visited. At the new office, there was no taking of blood pressure, no requests to have nothing to eat or drink for several hours before the gas got administered, no wait period before being released to drive home, and – catch this - it was the hygienist who gave me the gas and the cleaning, while the doctor was merely “in the room” at the time!! At my second visit to the new office, I prompted the doctor by saying, “Aren’t you going to ask me if I have had anything to eat or drink recently?” and the response I was given – with a dismissive wave of the hand - was, ”Oh, we don’t worry about that stuff at all. It doesn’t matter.” Wow! At that point, I figured, if I can see obvious corners being cut as a know-nothing patient, what other things are going on with my care and treatment that I don’t know about? As mentioned, I hightailed it back to Dr. T’s office for my next (and subsequent) appointments - comfortable in the knowledge that I am being treated well and properly. BTW, Dr. T has now further added to his precautions for patients receiving nitrous oxide – by way of making me sign a consent form that spells out all the “rules” to be followed by the patient when gas is administered. In summary, it certainly DOES matter which dentist one chooses!! They are NOT all the same! LESSON LEARNED!!!
